The house as a whole is very dated, nice house but very poorly renovated and maintained, as is the garden. Furniture very uncomfortable.

We had two great weeks in this house with a group of adults and a toddler. The farm and loft are both spacious, giving everyone enough space of their own, but also the possibility to do a lot together, such as eating at the large tables inside or outside.The accommodation was clean and very well equipped (especially in the kitchen - but for example, there was also hand soap in the bathroom, a high chair and bed, and the wifi worked well). The location of the house is phenomenal: the view is beautiful, and the babbling river next to the garden is unique and very atmospheric. The house is a short drive from larger villages with, for example, a wide choice of supermarkets, but located in a quiet hamlet where an occasional friendly dog barks, children play and a friendly neighbor came to chat. We were there in the summer, and while the area is mainly a ski resort, we hiked and cycled very adventurously in the area. We have never seen so many different shades of green around us as in the mountains, forests and rivers surrounding this house. Highly recommended, we would love to go back.

When we "our" house for a week saw we were in love, so authentic and beautifully situated on the Moselotte on the south side of the house. The house is spacious, does not compare to a 5 person house in NL .... Everything is available, from a blender to a gourmet set in the kitchen. Furniture in the living room, we found a bit dated, but everything was well prima.Slaapkamers are spacious. Only downside I can mention is that you go through the master bedroom to the shower (but delicious!) Or toilet was. My parents were in the upper apartment and if it inside to our section went they also had our bathroom, so when we went to shower "the morning went from door. Furthermore, the house has a washing machine, where I made good use of and also a dryer. But most are still the sight of the house, the authenticity and the location and surroundings of the biggest pluses, we'll be back again, it was a special week! a must for anyone who wants it to France, forests and "mountains" wants to see, but do not want to travel too far.

Just returned after a week in Saulxures. Friendly welcome by the caretaker. Very quietly located large house along a river. Very complete house with very elaborate decoration. Everything worked fine, even the wifi is good. Cozy kitchen with wood stove. We were here with six adults, three children and the dog. There was also toys for the children. Unfortunately, the dog rushed to the vet and contacted the homeowner had arranged an appointment from Belgium for us on Sunday night, which again our thanks! Beautiful surroundings, you quickly run into the woods. In the area many ski possibilities. Highly recommended !!!
