Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Catherine and Jeroen, and the necessary explanations were given. Beautiful cozy house, well-equipped kitchen, super terrace with a very nice view over the valley, and especially a very good swimming pool. The silence is simply incredible, which is priceless in these busy times. The house is very clean, especially the kitchen, which is important for us as celiac patients. An address to definitely remember. When you are in the middle of nature, you know that sometimes you experience animal sounds, like the rattle mice at this house. For light sleepers, earplugs may be useful.

Fantastic! Location, peace, space, view, pool, all great. Don't bring too much, the owner has everything already! Unfortunately, there are some little mice that live up to their name at night. Enjoy a bottle of wine and you'll sleep well. We had a great time!

I can't say enough good things about this holiday home! It was spacious and had a lovely rustic charm with its exposed beams and original floors, We especially enjoyed playing table tennis and having barbecues in the garden, The nearby bakery in Châteauneuf was a delightful find, If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place!

This place and the house is a wonderful and special place.Everything is create and done with passion and on a very high quality standard. We switched to holiday mood right away on arrival. The view is spectacular and the every day living experience is awesome. So We treasured the factthat driving to Either Limoges or Brive by car is reasonable with 60-90 minutes. The shopping mall in Chateneuf la Foret is pretty close by (10 minutes drive).

For the third time in a row we have been guests in the oasis of peace in Goumeix. It feels like coming home now. With most holiday homes, either the house is very beautiful, or the view, or the surroundings or the weather. Here, for the third time in a row, everything was just right. The house is very clean and well equipped. The new furniture in the living room makes it even more beautiful than it already was. The view will never bore you. In the morning with a cup of coffee on the deck watching the sunrise or in the evening admiring the extensive starry sky in this dark part of France. The surroundings invite you to go for a walk. Download the Komoot app and the walks will pop up, and everything is well indicated. You have to be lucky with the weather, but thanks to the roof with the fireplace, it is also wonderful to stay outside at cooler times. Add to that a large and lovely swimming pool, some dormice for entertainment in the evening and the good care of Jeroen and Catherine. This can be called a holiday.

We have been able to enjoy this beautifully renovated farmhouse in the French countryside for two weeks. The "fermette" was fully furnished and fully equipped, which ensured that we could fully relax during our holiday. From the veranda we had a beautiful view over the quiet French country with the church ("illuminated in the evening) of St. Anne in the distance. The spacious swimming pool with a wonderful water temperature provided the necessary cooling during this hot summer. fermette" we saw the necessary animals: twice a deer in the garden, many lizards, in the air a red wow, buzzards and a peregrine falcon and in the evening the dormice became active. We enjoyed these dormice very much with their acrobatic tours over the electricity cables to and from the house and their skills against the house. They didn't keep us awake at night. There is much to see in the area, but the area is not really touristy. We really liked that about this stay. During our stay we could call on Jeroen and Catherine for questions and the like. From the house you can enjoy walking and cycling. In short, it was just a shame that we had to go home again. We don't rule out coming back.

Wow, was the first thing we said to each other as we drove through the area on our way to the holiday home. When we arrived, the managers were already waiting for us and we were kindly welcomed. We got a tour of the villa, which is really beautiful. Fully equipped and even more beautiful than in the pictures! We lacked nothing, everything was there. A beautiful heated swimming pool, good beds, complete inventory and breakfast every morning on the balcony with a phenomenal view and every evening under the canopy enjoy the fireplace! We were 6 people and our dog in the house, at the end of August 2022. Waking up every morning with a beautiful view. Delicious breakfast on the terrace and in the evening made use of the BBQ. In the afternoon you sit on the terrace in the shade and the large heated swimming pool is in the sun until the evening, which is wonderful to relax. In the evening you can make the evening a lot longer under the shelter with fireplace. That was so much fun! The house is top finished and equipped with all the comforts you need. A complete kitchen, washing machine and dryer, but also a nice bathroom with shower, bath and toilet. Sleep on very nice mattresses. All in all, we were able to spend a wonderful week in a very nice, clean and well-kept house with maximum privacy. We enjoyed! We were warmly welcomed on arrival. We were tired of our trip, but the tour was short but powerful. We knew the most important things and were able to enjoy our well-deserved holiday afterwards. What a beautiful house and the environment, to be quiet. It was even more beautiful than on the pictures. All was present in and around the house, really enjoy. And the silence of the area was wonderful, we really have come to rest and were able to get full of energy again. Also our children of 3 and 1 year have enjoyed, in and around the pool.And if we could not swim once due to the weather, the children could have fun in the house.Also the adults were thought, many games and reading books were aanwezig.Een story, but in short ...... Except for the birds and the occasional cow, you hear nothing. Nice villages within a 10-minute drive by car for all necessary groceries and petrol. Also very good and fast communication with Jeroen and Catherine themselves on Sunday, ideal! Highly recommended!

Very nice holiday home with a beautiful view. Very clean, very nice pool, very well equipped kitchen and nice bathroom. You are at the end of a dead end street of more than a kilometer with no other (inhabited) houses. So peace and privacy are guaranteed. The welcome was also super friendly. There was also a lot of tourist information in the cupboard. And I was able to charge my electric car at the socket in the garage.2 points for attention:1) There are dormice in the attic. These are sweet and cute and not dangerous at all, but make a lot of "riot" at night. Had we known this beforehand we would have brought earplugs. So if you are a light sleeper I would definitely recommend this. You certainly do not advise against choosing this house.It is really a top house.2) There is no air conditioning in the bedroom and despite the mosquito nets, we did not dare to leave the windows open at night because of the dormice. Air conditioning would certainly have been a plus.

On the warm days the bedrooms were very hot, but windows could open allowing it to cool down at the end of the night. Also very nice, horror for the windows of the bedrooms! Last day of stay we had light leakage from the bathroom into the kitchen. Two days after we were home, the owner called to let the mice have pierced the drain pipe and it was now cool, super neat so! This is a house to be sure to come back!

What a beautiful house, all the trimmings. Sorry that it was not the weather, a bit too cold in the pool. It is idd a very quiet area, with shops and restuarantjes you should not come here, but what a nature and tranquility, blissful. Due to the bad weather we have done a lot of walking, which is not easy with kids (9 and 12) but on Terra Aventura will the kids as well. The concept of geocaching, in the end becoming a nice "Poiz".

A few hours in advance call the manager to let you know the time you arrived, so there was also when we arrived. On the warm days the bedrooms were very hot, but windows could open allowing it to cool down at the end of the night. Also very nice, horror for the windows of the bedrooms! Last day of stay we had light leakage from the bathroom into the kitchen. Two days after we were home, the owner called to let the mice have pierced the drain pipe and it was now cool, super neat so! This is a house to be sure to come back!

Arrival is very good. A welcoming reception by an administrator who has been involved in this house from the beginning of the renovation, so, it knows, and you really treat as a guest. We were warmly welcomed on arrival. We were tired of our trip, but the tour was short but powerful. We knew the most important things and were able to enjoy our well-deserved holiday afterwards. And the silence of the area was wonderful, we really have come to rest and were able to get full of energy again. Wow, was the first thing we said to each other as we drove through the area on our way to the holiday home. When we arrived, the managers were already waiting for us and we were kindly welcomed. We got a tour of the villa, which is really beautiful. Fully equipped and even more beautiful than in the pictures! We lacked nothing, everything was there. A beautiful heated swimming pool, good beds, complete inventory and breakfast every morning on the balcony with a phenomenal view and every evening under the canopy enjoy the fireplace! We will definitely come back!

Very nice holiday home with a beautiful view. Very clean, very nice pool, very well equipped kitchen and nice bathroom. You are at the end of a dead end street of more than a kilometer with no other (inhabited) houses. So peace and privacy are guaranteed. The welcome was also super friendly. There was also a lot of tourist information in the cupboard. And I was able to charge my electric car at the socket in the garage.2 points for attention:1) There are dormice in the attic. These are sweet and cute and not dangerous at all, but make a lot of "riot" at night. Had we known this beforehand we would have brought earplugs. So if you are a light sleeper I would definitely recommend this. You certainly do not advise against choosing this house.It is really a top house.2) There is no air conditioning in the bedroom and despite the mosquito nets, we did not dare to leave the windows open at night because of the dormice. Air conditioning would certainly have been a plus.

We have been able to enjoy this beautifully renovated farmhouse in the French countryside for two weeks. The "fermette" was fully furnished and fully equipped, which ensured that we could fully relax during our holiday. From the veranda we had a beautiful view over the quiet French country with the church ("illuminated in the evening) of St. Anne in the distance. The spacious swimming pool with a wonderful water temperature provided the necessary cooling during this hot summer. fermette" we saw the necessary animals: twice a deer in the garden, many lizards, in the air a red wow, buzzards and a peregrine falcon and in the evening the dormice became active. We enjoyed these dormice very much with their acrobatic tours over the electricity cables to and from the house and their skills against the house. They didn't keep us awake at night. There is much to see in the area, but the area is not really touristy. We really liked that about this stay. During our stay we could call on Jeroen and Catherine for questions and the like. From the house you can enjoy walking and cycling. In short, it was just a shame that we had to go home again. We don't rule out coming back.

We were 6 people and our dog in the house, at the end of August 2022. Waking up every morning with a beautiful view. Delicious breakfast on the terrace and in the evening made use of the BBQ. In the afternoon you sit on the terrace in the shade and the large heated swimming pool is in the sun until the evening, which is wonderful to relax. In the evening you can make the evening a lot longer under the shelter with fireplace. That was so much fun! The house is top finished and equipped with all the comforts you need. A complete kitchen, washing machine and dryer, but also a nice bathroom with shower, bath and toilet. Sleep on very nice mattresses. All in all, we were able to spend a wonderful week in a very nice, clean and well-kept house with maximum privacy. We enjoyed!
