Until Céaucé we easily found via the GPS, it was more difficult to find the way to stay but we were helped by the friendly people of the village. We were welcomed by the friendly owner Tony. In the house there was a folder full of information and activities in the region, cleverly compiled by Gerda, the proprietress. The cottage is very cozy and romantic, we will definitely come back. We got a tour of Gerda on the farm, was super! The kids could even help the calves to feed, they certainly will undoubtedly have a long talk about it! We stayed for two weeks in Gerda and Tonnie's bakery. The atmosphere in the house was very cozy. The weather was not so nice, but the wood stove in the cottage made up for it and made for an even cozier atmosphere! There is a lot to do in the area (even if the weather is not so good). Gerda helped us very well with looking for activities that suited us. We really enjoyed having dinner with Gerda and Tonnie every now and then (Gerda is a great cook) and we definitely recommend this. We had two wonderful, relaxing weeks in the (clean and well-maintained) bakery.

A warm welcome by the hostess. What peace and space! Great house with everything you need. Don't expect great luxury, but you don't need that either. A bit back to basic, but with good WiFi reception ;-). On the farm you were allowed to look around and help. Beautiful nature and at a distance, many sights. We have been 2 weeks and in between the hostess has cleaned once and a fresh towel package every four days. Vegetables from our own garden and lots of hugs from the cats. Warm people who have a chat if you feel like it and if not, then good too.

What a nice spot in the middle of Normandy! Very charming accommodation with everything on it. had a very nice and warm welcome. Staying at "Le Fournil" can have dangerous side effects, so be warned! Cats sneak into the trunk home smuggled threatened with an addiction to freshly laid eggs, can not sleep without it the traditional cattle-from-the-meadow-stroke circle ... there are only a few. When friends asked us where the honeymoon went, they looked at us at first a little strange. They had expected a tropical island, with a seaside hotel, all inclusive, where dozens of other couples staying ... We went "just" nice with our own car to France, the first week in Normandy. We wanted our family something different, not a (busy) campground, but in the countryside in a quiet place and if possible let the children see something of how it works on a farm (or show where the milk comes from ) .Through Belvilla totaled Fournil and it has made all our expectations true. The arrival in the bakery was warm. Gerda received us most of all with a drink and a slice of cake. In the cottage was a welcome drink, a bowl of fruit and a candy bag of sweetheart. The house was really clean! To our delight there were horrors in the house in a few places, allowing you to keep the house easy to fly. There was a little chair on our children, there was a reading book and there was a highchair. A stairwell on top of the stairs. It's a nice house cozy but spacious enough and with everything you need. The location is fantastic. Rural. Quiet. In the surrounding area there is plenty of canoeing, cycling, hiking, climbing course, beautiful villages / towns, flea markets, D-Day etc. We have had a nice time with our kids. Our son of 6 enjoyed working on the farm at the end of the day. It is a relaxing way to get acquainted with a organic farm company. We have experienced the birth of a calf from near. Very special. Unfortunately, the calf died the next day. As a family with kids, we would have liked to have some playground equipment in the garden (swing, trampoline etc.). What a fantastic house. "Back to basics", in a very pleasant way. Hot Savory owners who will provide you with all kinds of information, not only on the environment but also on the farm and the animals that live on this farm. Our honeymoon we spent in the bakehouse Fournil. This really was a perfect choice, what a romantic cottage. The house is fully equipped. With my husband and our children aged 11 and 12, I celebrated a week at le fournil holiday. Upon arrival there were adequate overalls ready for the kids including peasant handkerchiefs. Especially my daughter loved to help the calves and cows. The reception was also very hospitable hostess and is very communicative and friendly. It took us a moment to something ontbroken.Het cottage was clean and spacious enough for 4 people. It is inside what darkness because it is a really old bakehouse but you can sit outside in the garden where nothing will hear birds, buzzing bees and the occasional cow. We enjoyed the lovely renovated old bakery house and the hospitality of the Dutch owners. The warm welcome with baked apple pie, fresh cream and milk from their own cows. Upon entering, there was already a bottle of bubbly waiting by the fireplace. Curious cows that you cheerfully greeted every morning. The cozy chicks, fun to make that calves were born during our stay. The beautiful night, the ambient air was so dark that we could see the Milky Way really good and you did not get bored of the stars. Beautiful scenery in the area, we visited waterfalls during a hiking trip a few villages further. Mont Saint Michel visited on the coast. D-day visited various places. Domfront cozy town. After reading all the great reviews in the guest book, we really looked forward to our holiday destination. A few days before our departure, we were all pleasantly surprised by the call from Gerda if we did wish that she could possibly obtain. We stayed for two weeks in Gerda and Tonnie's bakery. The atmosphere in the house was very cozy. The weather was not so nice, but the wood stove in the cottage made up for it and made for an even cozier atmosphere! There is a lot to do in the area (even if the weather is not so good). Gerda helped us very well with looking for activities that suited us. We really enjoyed having dinner with Gerda and Tonnie every now and then (Gerda is a great cook) and we definitely recommend this. We had two wonderful, relaxing weeks in the (clean and well-maintained) bakery.

The arrival in the bakery was warm. Gerda received us most of all with a drink and a slice of cake. In the cottage was a welcome drink, a bowl of fruit and a candy bag of sweetheart. The house was really clean! To our delight there were horrors in the house in a few places, allowing you to keep the house easy to fly. There was a little chair on our children, there was a reading book and there was a highchair. A stairwell on top of the stairs. It's a nice house cozy but spacious enough and with everything you need. The location is fantastic. Rural. Quiet. In the surrounding area there is plenty of canoeing, cycling, hiking, climbing course, beautiful villages / towns, flea markets, D-Day etc. We have had a nice time with our kids. Our son of 6 enjoyed working on the farm at the end of the day. It is a relaxing way to get acquainted with a organic farm company. We have experienced the birth of a calf from near. Very special. Unfortunately, the calf died the next day. As a family with kids, we would have liked to have some playground equipment in the garden (swing, trampoline etc.). We pulled out a lot and had wonderful weeks.

We enjoyed the lovely renovated old bakery house and the hospitality of the Dutch owners. The warm welcome with baked apple pie, fresh cream and milk from their own cows. Upon entering, there was already a bottle of bubbly waiting by the fireplace. Curious cows that you cheerfully greeted every morning. The cozy chicks, fun to make that calves were born during our stay. The beautiful night, the ambient air was so dark that we could see the Milky Way really good and you did not get bored of the stars. Beautiful scenery in the area, we visited waterfalls during a hiking trip a few villages further. Mont Saint Michel visited on the coast. D-day visited various places. Domfront cozy town. There is plenty to do. And in the cottage are information leaflets, maps and guides in English but also in dutch. They also had a card with addresses of farmers who are homemade local produce sold. We have also made good use. We enjoyed!

When friends asked us where the honeymoon went, they looked at us at first a little strange. They had expected a tropical island, with a seaside hotel, all inclusive, where dozens of other couples staying ... We went "just" nice with our own car to France, the first week in Normandy. What a nice spot in the middle of Normandy! Very charming accommodation with everything on it. had a very nice and warm welcome. Super nice to stay on the farm with all the animals around us like cows and cats. It also may help with the care of the cows and calves, a very fun and educational experience. We wanted our family something different, not a (busy) campground, but in the countryside in a quiet place and if possible let the children see something of how it works on a farm (or show where the milk comes from ) .Through Belvilla totaled Fournil and it has made all our expectations true. The farm is located in the south west of Normandy in a hilly and wooded area with creeks and watervallen.Het bakehouse is very nicely renovated and it is a good stay. With my husband and our children aged 11 and 12, I celebrated a week at le fournil holiday. Upon arrival there were adequate overalls ready for the kids including peasant handkerchiefs. Especially my daughter loved to help the calves and cows. The reception was also very hospitable hostess and is very communicative and friendly. It took us a moment to something ontbroken.Het cottage was clean and spacious enough for 4 people. It is inside what darkness because it is a really old bakehouse but you can sit outside in the garden where nothing will hear birds, buzzing bees and the occasional cow. We also wanted some things to look at the coast but that's what a long drive through the small roads you drive on. Nearby you can enjoy hiking and evening walk on the land around the farm is highly recommended.

A super holiday in a very sweet cozy cottage. What we enjoyed the peace and quiet we got here. The cottage is fully equipped. Lovely comfy chairs to read a book or relax with a glass of wine and a bed you never to wake up. Every morning there was a breakfast set us up with delicious homemade products by Gerda. The barbeque where we had some time made use of it was a great success. It was also very interesting to the farmer lives so close to do. The offer for a tour of the farm you can certainly not refuse. Big beautiful cows eyes staring at you while you are in the pit to your state and explains how the milking is done. We have late Sept. / Early Oct. 2008 a great week in Le Fournil. It is a cozy cottage that is larger in reality than on the pictures' s looks. Especially the stove makes it even in rainy weather is gorgeous. Our 2 year old son loved it for the kittens to carry around and if in a borrowed mini overalls help with feeding the calves, super! If you have a hobby or special interest, do not hesitate to consult Gerda, her tips on local activities have made our stay more enjoyable. Especially for repeat prone!

Staying at "Le Fournil" can have dangerous side effects, so be warned! After reading all the great reviews in the guest book, we really looked forward to our holiday destination. A few days before our departure, we were all pleasantly surprised by the call from Gerda if we did wish that she could possibly obtain. Information for us On arrival we were warmly welcomed by all of Gerda, a great cup of coffee was also set. Immediately for us The next morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast and the remaining days of our stay too. Gerda after breakfast also provide us with the necessary information and the bakery were also plenty of brochures for outings. The tour of the farm was fun and educational. The children also received a pair of overalls and boots if they had sense to help with feeding the calves, fetching the cows. Also, they both got their own calf (Gretchen & Gretel) that they could take care of the whole week. And they have done every day with pleasure and for our youngest Todd was a big party. Once we were on a trip back, he was gone and he was sitting with Tony on the tractor, had cows get or find. A spacious house, which is slightly different than most other rentals. Nice authentic look. Nice and cool inside, despite the heat. "Cozy evenings by the fireplace in the large-stoelen.Ligging relax in an environment where there is plenty to do, but also fine for a day of rest. & QuotWaarom we can not stay ten nights? ". That was what my five year old daughter said when I was told that we had to go home the next day. They therefore expressed what I thought. We had a wonderful week in the cottage in the grounds of the organic farm of Gerda and Tonny. The children were very enthusiastic about feeding the animals and were jumping every night (our son two literally) to go back to the farm. He's still talking about it that he was riding upon a real tractor I was very positively surprised by the thinking of Gerda us. When we were there, it was not nice weather. She has been wearing all sorts of things of what to do in bad weather. Was possible And those are a lot of things castles, ruins, visiting Mont St Michel is just a small sample of the possibilities. We deliberately chose a house without WiFi and TV, which resulted in three books read in a week! Delicious! I have recommended this place to many friends and who knows ourselves a few years back myself! An absolute must in our opinion!
