We really enjoyed our holiday, this was partly due to the great location of our cottage. It was fine on most surfaces. Very friendly host and very good ontvangst.Dit cottage is a must.

The stay was excellent with the Colling family. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine for us and homemade apple juice for the children. The cottage was equipped with a more than complete interior. Garden chair cushions, very complete kitchen equipment, complete with herbs, detergent, dishwasher tablets and cleaning products and resources. The table tennis table with many accessories was very popular with our teenagers and the 9 year old found enough distraction with the swing and trampoline. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. You don't have to go to the tourist center, they have provided leaflets and brochures of the area. We were there at a time with high temperatures but the gite was wonderfully cool. Despite the la Horne that flows past, we had no problems with mosquitoes. Please note on arrival, google maps shows a location in the middle of the village of Hanviller while the gite is slightly outside the village towards Bitche. A prime location where the only peace and quiet is occasionally interrupted by passing cyclists and a starting walker towards the Cascade. The children also enjoyed the soldiers who were sent into the woods, the gite is adjacent to a military training area that does not bother you. Highly recommended!!!

We had the navigation set to the coordinates as they were in the travel documents. However, then you arrive in the middle of the village while the location of the holiday address is about 1.5 km outside the village. We were received with the utmost kindness. The accommodation is very complete with, among other things, a good bed. It is a beautiful area with a lot of forest.

We were kindly received by the homeowners who immediately gave us a tour. The owners live next to the apartment and speak French, English and German. They are very friendly and helpful. The house is very nice and complete and the environment is beautiful. The house stayed nice and cool at high temperatures. The beds were good, they are on the short side. The large balcony is a plus, as is the spacious garden. Tip in (very) warm weather at several campsites in the area you can (for a small fee) swim in beautiful lakes. Our children (5 and 7 years) have also very well entertained and did not want to go home anymore.

We had hoped and expected that the above picture was a lake within walking distance of the cottage. Unfortunately it was not! It is our great stay bevallen.Een very nice and big terrace with all day sun and shade and zn with luxury ligstoelen.Erg many forest where you from running into the house as with many hiking. Deer, hares, kingfishers and a fox. With children it is fun to visit the garden of Bitche. In the lake at Haspelschiedt you can swim well.Strasbourg is a beautiful city to visit. Very touristy.

The cottage is conveniently located on the edge of a beautiful forest, where we have very nice walks. The owners are very friendly and obliging. The cottage itself is quite dark due to the small windows and the trees stand. But it does have an attractive terrace.

This was the second time we have booked in Schwingmuhle. Just like the last time our holiday went very well. We had a young puppy and enclosed patio offered us safely to our puppy to let go. The landlords have us as the 1st time very friendly welcome. We had the luck factor of the good weather, so we have some brisk walking and cycling have firm can make. The house offers privacy, but you can revert to the owner if you have a problem.

We can have a very nice week in this cottage and the surroundings were completely zufrieden.In to visit many beautiful old castles and fortresses, and especially with dogs beautiful walks machen.Wir would always go there again.

We had hoped and expected that the above picture was a lake within walking distance of the cottage. Unfortunately it was not! It is our great stay bevallen.Een very nice and big terrace with all day sun and shade and zn with luxury ligstoelen.Erg many forest where you from running into the house as with many hiking. Deer, hares, kingfishers and a fox. Traces of wild zwijnen.Er mountain bikes are available where our children enjoy using have gemaakt.Het is a beautiful area with lots of swimming where you just need to go away by auto.De owners are super nice people!!

The stay was excellent with the Colling family. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine for us and homemade apple juice for the children. The cottage was equipped with a more than complete interior. Garden chair cushions, very complete kitchen equipment, complete with herbs, detergent, dishwasher tablets and cleaning products and resources. The table tennis table with many accessories was very popular with our teenagers and the 9 year old found enough distraction with the swing and trampoline. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. You don't have to go to the tourist center, they have provided leaflets and brochures of the area. We were there at a time with high temperatures but the gite was wonderfully cool. Despite the la Horne that flows past, we had no problems with mosquitoes. Please note on arrival, google maps shows a location in the middle of the village of Hanviller while the gite is slightly outside the village towards Bitche. A prime location where the only peace and quiet is occasionally interrupted by passing cyclists and a starting walker towards the Cascade. The children also enjoyed the soldiers who were sent into the woods, the gite is adjacent to a military training area that does not bother you. Highly recommended!!!

Recommended! What a beautiful and super clean house. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 3 children. A beautiful garden with extensive garden furniture that we were able to make wonderful use of. We had the navigation set to the coordinates as they were in the travel documents. However, then you arrive in the middle of the village while the location of the holiday address is about 1.5 km outside the village. We were received with the utmost kindness. The accommodation is very complete with, among other things, a good bed. It is a beautiful area with a lot of forest.

Owners speak German and English in addition to French. Cool cottage in the summer with nice garden and veranda. Very spacious, with well-equipped kitchen. Bit dated in direction but that does not interest us. Good beds. Reasonable WiFi. Good TV with of course all French channels. If you bring HDMI cable, you can stream from your laptop. (or Chrome cast). Take a fly swatter and Deet mee.Prachtige natural environment where you can cycle and walk. French people in this part of France speak mostly German and a little bit of English. They are doing their best to help you. Furthermore, there are few tourists. Mainly some Germans and a single Dutchman. In Bitche you can do good boatships. With children it is fun to visit the garden of Bitche. In the lake at Haspelschiedt you can swim well.Strasbourg is a beautiful city to visit. Very touristy.

This was the second time we have booked in Schwingmuhle. Just like the last time our holiday went very well. We had a young puppy and enclosed patio offered us safely to our puppy to let go. The landlords have us as the 1st time very friendly welcome. We had the luck factor of the good weather, so we have some brisk walking and cycling have firm can make. The house offers privacy, but you can revert to the owner if you have a problem.

We were kindly received by the homeowners who immediately gave us a tour. The owners live next to the apartment and speak French, English and German. They are very friendly and helpful. The house is very nice and complete and the environment is beautiful. The house stayed nice and cool at high temperatures. The beds were good, they are on the short side. The large balcony is a plus, as is the spacious garden. Tip in (very) warm weather at several campsites in the area you can (for a small fee) swim in beautiful lakes. Our children (5 and 7 years) have also very well entertained and did not want to go home anymore.

The cottage is conveniently located on the edge of a beautiful forest, where we have very nice walks. The owners are very friendly and obliging. The cottage itself is quite dark due to the small windows and the trees stand. But it does have an attractive terrace.
