The living room had a comfortable setup with a TV that made the evenings pleasant after long workdays. The bedroom was also nice, which ensured good sleep quality during my stay.

For a budget traveler, this place offers great value. You get two bedrooms and access to beautiful nature without spending too much. It’s just 7 km from the beach which was perfect for day trips. Having a kitchen also helped save money on meals.

In February 2013 visited this house. Rural location and extremely quiet. The village means little. The bakery within 5km and supermarkets a short drive away. The reception was excellent and the cabin was comfortable. Truly a place to unwind with lovely beaches nearby and Dday beaches a short distance away. We would book again, but in a warmer period.

There you have to take the bike or car. Large supermarket about 7 km.

Kindly received by the owner; the gift (bottle of cider and norman biscuits) was a pleasant and delicious surprise. The accommodation is rather "normal", so not a typical establishment eg. The house offers more than enough space, both inside and out. Thanks to the good weather we spent a lot of time outside; terrace and garden are well oriented: always sun, but still plenty of shade. The garden is completely fenced, so that the dog could walk around freely.

A good starting point for many excursions (the famous D-Day beaches and Mont St. Michel, but also the Cathedral at Coutances, the beach, castles \/ ruins and abbeys \/ farms in the area). We were welcomed by the friendly landlord who lives across the street. A simple but nice house, well furnished, light, in a very quiet area. Nice temperatures (while all of France sighed under the heat), nice walks possible and trips to surrounding towns and the coast.

Fine house with almost everything you need, quiet location and the beach on a small 9 km. Brainville from both the north to cities like Cherboug or Caen and south to cities like Normandy and reach Mont-Saint-Michel fine. The weather is changeable with sunshine but also some showers but as the Normans say it every day weather permitting, at least 2 minutes! We had a fun time!

Owner Sophie came right up to us when we drove onto the site. So very nice reception. She walked in with us and indicated if we needed anything to let us know. We had bought a small swimming pool because it was going to be so hot and they were ready to pump it up and a garden hose was brought. What a treasure both. House is great, nice beds and everything you need. And what a wonderful rest here! A few kilometers further you will find everything you need. Very nice stay! Which is also very nice if it applies that the garden is completely fenced, also small dogs proof. Big plus for us.

With our two young children, 3.5 and 1.5, a week of holiday in Brainville enjoyed. Fine weather the whole week - not too hot, but all day sun and good temperatures (20+). As defined very quiet, country setting. Garden with a fence around it with a large lawn, a swing, deck chairs and a swing-sofa. Ideal for entertaining with the little ones but also to read a nice book. Environment lends itself to trips to the coast and nearby towns. You Might Also Granville (boat trip worth it), the D-Day beaches, the (very nearby) Castle of Gratot, nearby beaches (minimum 10 km), and of course a visit to the cathedral of Coutances. The only drawback we found that the baker was not within walking distance (3 km) Bakery in Gratot, however, was very good. Are you coming for a pure beach holiday you can, however, better reserve a cottage on the coast with young children very suitable.

The spacious cozy house with all comfort, together with beautiful weather has given us an unforgettable fine fourteen days. Since we had chosen to be close to the sea, we could make beautiful walks here on the beach as well as in the large dunes. Remarkable were the almost empty beaches and dunes so that we could enjoy the silence and nature in stark contrast to our city life in Antwerp. Thank you to the sympathetic hostess.

You Might Also Granville (boat trip worth it), the D-Day beaches, the (very nearby) Castle of Gratot, nearby beaches (minimum 10 km), and of course a visit to the cathedral of Coutances. The only drawback we found that the baker was not within walking distance (3 km) Bakery in Gratot, however, was very good. Are you coming for a pure beach holiday you can, however, better reserve a cottage on the coast with young children very suitable.

Beautiful house, very friendly reception. The couple also speaks English. Kitchen inventory is what meager but adequate. Quiet and beautiful surroundings. And of course a very interesting area along the beautiful Normandy coast.

We were welcomed by the friendly landlord who lives across the street. A simple but nice house, well furnished, light, in a very quiet area. Nice temperatures (while all of France sighed under the heat), nice walks possible and trips to surrounding towns and the coast.

Very nice well kept and spacious holiday home. Very friendly owner who speaks English too. Holiday home is located on the edge of a very small village, on a dead end.Rust hiking environment by nature. As in French villages, telephone connections are not always available. (you can also experience this as a positive one!)

Upon our arrival we found a nice attention that was very appreciated. The spacious cozy house with all comforts, together with beautiful weather has given us an unforgettable fine week.Daar we had chosen to sit close to the sea, we have daily beautiful walks can make both on the beach and in the large dunes in the area . We have enjoyed the peace and tranquility especially by beaches where in the distance we sometimes saw a family, nothing but nature.

In February 2013 visited this house. Rural location and extremely quiet. The village means little. The bakery within 5km and supermarkets a short drive away. The reception was excellent and the cabin was comfortable. Truly a place to unwind with lovely beaches nearby and Dday beaches a short distance away. We would book again, but in a warmer period.

Everything perfectly arranged on arrival as agreed with the homeowner. Homeowner is bilingual (French - English) Holiday is spacious, clean, everything aanwezig.Emgeving is very quiet, ideal for complete rest, house is secluded and yet close to owner, this is not a problem as it keeps completely aloof but still remains accessible for any questions.

Kindly received by the owner; the gift (bottle of cider and norman biscuits) was a pleasant and delicious surprise. The accommodation is rather "normal", so not a typical establishment eg. The house offers more than enough space, both inside and out. Thanks to the good weather we spent a lot of time outside; terrace and garden are well oriented: always sun, but still plenty of shade. The garden is completely fenced, so that the dog could walk around freely.

There were also some small details that accentuated the feeling of welcome such as the open gate and the already installed sun loungers in the garden. The spacious cozy house with all comfort, together with beautiful weather has given us an unforgettable fine fourteen days. Since we had chosen to be close to the sea, we could make beautiful walks here on the beach as well as in the large dunes. Remarkable were the almost empty beaches and dunes so that we could enjoy the silence and nature in stark contrast to our city life in Antwerp. Thank you to the sympathetic hostess.

Owner Sophie came right up to us when we drove onto the site. So very nice reception. She walked in with us and indicated if we needed anything to let us know. We had bought a small swimming pool because it was going to be so hot and they were ready to pump it up and a garden hose was brought. What a treasure both. House is great, nice beds and everything you need. And what a wonderful rest here! A few kilometers further you will find everything you need. Very nice stay! Which is also very nice if it applies that the garden is completely fenced, also small dogs proof. Big plus for us.

Beautiful surroundings with a nice holiday home that offers all basic comfort. We had a nice holiday. There are nice coastal villages a short distance away and the Mont Saint-Michel and the landing beaches are certainly worth a visit. The fully enclosed garden came in handy with our 2 dogs. Owner Sophie was very friendly and helpful!
