The rural gîte located near Brioude (about 9 km) is situated in a beautifully converted former farmhouse, which lies in a small hamlet. Guests have access to their own small authentic stone house in the typical style of the Auvergne. The accommodation is very spacious, furnished with great attention to detail, and of course very quiet and clean. In front of the house is a lovely terrace with a magnificent view of the beautiful landscape. The holiday home is perfect for both those seeking peace and active vacationers, allowing for excursions and hikes in the region. Communication with the landlords was smooth. Christian and Beatrice are the perfect hosts. Thank you!

The private terrace was a huge plus for morning coffee, I loved cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, and we even had a barbecue night, The castle walk was super close, so we enjoyed that too, The only downside was that there was no wifi, but honestly, it made us disconnect a bit, which was nice.

Comfortable and spacious house. Beautiful location with wide panorama. Warm welcome by the hospitable owners. The kitchen is fine. We cooked delicious meals there. The bedrooms are also in good order. Excellent beds. We would love to come back. There is much to do in the area for lovers of peace, nature and culture. A must is the Romanesque basilica Saint-Julien nearby in Brioude. In the nearby villages of Blesle and Lavaudieu you imagine yourself in the Middle Ages. Even more picturesque villages and ancient castles can be found along the route through the deeply cut river valley of the Allier.

On arrival met by the owner with a nice bottle of rosé (should be red). Extremely friendly man who speaks excellent English. From the outside it looked all beautiful but inside it was just as good. Everything is authentically decorated and tidy. Everything else was present, from toaster to pressure cooker. The owner was so attentive to our son of 2.5 years and us as to treat a tractor ride. The closure was neat as agreed. Overall highly recommended !!

The terrace has a beautiful view of nature and a distal Schloss.St. Beauzire is an ideal starting point for tours to major attractions such as chaise Dieux, Le Puy en Valay, Cantalgebirge Puy or the cathedral. But even in the immediate vicinity are beautiful old Dörder (Blesle, Ilpice St., Vieille Brioude Lavauxvieu ... or the Allier valley) The owners are very nice and help the guests at any Anliegen.Kleiner downside: The intense smell of mothballs (even after removing them) in one of the bedrooms.

Our host / wife received us with enthusiasm. It is a beautiful and quiet part of the Auvergne. Our car has to be in the driveway and that obscures our view. We miss comfortable patio chairs. The chairs at the dining table outside are not pleasant to sit in. There is no possibility to put shampoo, etc. in the shower cubicles.

It was lovely drink in this nicely decorated house. When we got down the stove already, and it smelled delicious. The house was clean and was in a nice quiet area.
