I recently spent a week at Les Volets Bleus with friends. The property was well-furnished and had plenty of space for us to relax. The garden was lovely, making it easy to enjoy the peaceful countryside.

Located between agriculture and small forestry. Within 15 km of supermarkets and bakeries. Base for the coast with beautiful places. The cottage is basic. But certainly meets requirements. Outdoor furniture, beds, and living room are fine. Showers are fine. Large fenced garden. There are 2 donkeys in the pasture that directly borders the garden.

Wij hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad in les Murailles. Het huis is sfeervol, zeer ruim en comfortabel ingericht. Helaas hadden wij tijdens onze week verblijf niet het beste weer, maar de grote houtkachel zorgde voor veel warmte, ook op de bovenverdieping. Er waren maar liefst 3 toiletten, een fijn bad en 2 douches. De tafeltennis was een hit bij onze kinderen van 6 en 8 jaar. De bedden lagen heerlijk en het was elke ochtend fijn wakker worden met niks anders dan het geluid van fluitende vogels. In de keuken was het prima koken, goede inventaris, alle meer dan voldoende aanwezig (bestek, glazen, borden, alles was er). Bij binnenkomst was eigenaar Peter aanwezig voor een korte uitleg en tips over de omgeving. Er stond een fles cider in de koelkast en prachtige bloemen uit de de tuin op tafel. Het huis ligt heerlijk rustig, grote tuin en nog een apart terras waar je kan barbecueën. Op het terrein zijn 2 ezeltjes wat het verblijf extra leuk maakte. Op een half uur rijafstand genoeg te doen (st Malo, Dinan, Cancale etc.) en er zij 3 grote supermarkten op 10-15 minuten rijden. Wij hebben genoten van een week rust en ruimte en we komen absoluut nog een keer terug. Peter, bedankt voor dit fijne verblijf!

beautiful house completely in the green, quiet location. lots to do in the area +- 30 km, beautiful excursions to Cancale and then along the coast to Saint-Malo, beautiful. House was cozy, pretty practical, only I missed a wardrobe upstairs, there are mainly coat racks provided. But we solved that conveniently by just leaving everything downstairs near the bathroom. very friendly owner, deposit and final settlement went correctly.

Peter heeft het huis zelf gebouwd en is nog niet klaar. Twee grote slaapkamers en één kleine en een wc op de eerste verdieping. Beneden twee badkamers, waarvan één met bad. Een grote woonkamer met keuken. Alles is schoon en gezellig. In de avond gebruiken we de hout kachel en wordt het aangenaam warm. Ook in de bovenliggende slaapkamer. De enorme tuin/weiland om het huis is heerlijk genieten van rust en privacy. Er wonen twee schattige ezels op het terrein. Peter vroeg ons twee keer per dag een stukje oud brood te geven. Al met al een week lang genoten van de rust, de ruimte en de natuur.

Erg fijn huis. Een mooie omgeving en een huis dat voor ons aan alle eisen voldeed. Verwacht geen grote luxe, maar wel een knus en goed voorzien huis. Alles werkte naar behoren en fijne bedden. Peter is een fijne eigenaar die je goed ontvangt en helpt.

Very kindly received by the Dutch owner. Beautiful house, quiet location. In the morning and in the evening some agricultural traffic, but not really bothered by it. Cottage is spacious, two bathrooms, one with a bath. Beds were certainly not bad. Only downside were the chairs at the dining table, which we found really bad. Therefore, only briefly sat at the table.Mooie fireplace and wood stove, enough wood available to use. However, we did not use it because we did not find it cold. The best of all we found the two donkeys in the garden. These were waiting for us in the morning for breakfast and in the afternoon when we came back for dinner. Lots to do in the area within half an hour's drive, such as St Malo, Mont St Michel, Dinan, Cancale, etc.

Spacious house on a large piece of land. Environment is very rural, green and quiet. In the backyard are 2 donkeys that have to be fed "in the morning and" in the evening. Very nice! The house is very spacious but hardly isolated. So it can cool down considerably. There are electric heaters throughout the house. You have to pay for the electricity you use separately. The living room has a fireplace (2x) that we have used every day. Very nice. The fireplace wood you have to pay separately (EUR 15 for a week). We also found many chestnuts in the area (delicious as a snack). The Dutch owner was friendly and helpful. It is about a 20 minute drive to the beach where you can buy fresh oysters etc. There are plenty of nice places in the area to visit. All in all a very successful week.

A very nice, romantic holiday home in nature. It has a huge garden with two donkeys belonging to the house and many animals of nature: lizards, hornets, owls, weasels, dormouse etc. The inside of the house is very cozy and pleasant, but not luxurious. Our four children always had something beautiful to discover.

The location was good to find. The reception was relaxed and warm. The use of the spacious equipment was well explained. In addition, we received several tips for trips in the area. All in all a real aanrader.Een big plus is that you have a lot of places around the house where you can choose to sit in the sun or shade. There is also sufficient garden furniture available and good solid tables. The beds are very good but unfortunately a bit short (was known by the way) and also the shower was very nice with an un-French beam. From the house you can make nice trips to Rennes, forest of Mesnil, St. Malo, Dinard, Dinan, St Suliac etc. Furthermore, of course, beautiful routes along the Rance and the coast.

The owner is present on arrival. The reception is warm and we get a tour of the house plus several tips to do in the area. The house is very spacious and equipped with every comfort. Flowers on the table and 2 bottles of cider in the fridge. It gives a welcome feeling. Fine the walled terrace where our dog could not. Two wonderful weeks here!

Reception was very good. The owner gave us the right information and is a friendly person. The holiday feeling just got more through the beautiful location. For us, this was the first stay that was correct at all points and provided with all the necessary requirements. Dishware and cutlery clean clean, and all home appliances also work. Nice holiday! Spacious cottage. All services work fine (the shower is doing fine, what other homes is not always the case). Very quiet. Only to see green all around. Fun for the kids two donkeys in the garden, very spacious garden. 10 minutes a water park. At fifteen minutes a well-kept zoo-cum-castle. 30 minutes beautiful beaches (between Saint-Malo and Cancale). Recommended.

This is the ORIGINAL Breton cottage in a similar style placed a hefty construction where the bathrooms and the toilet and the stairs to the bedrooms. Everything is neatly. Feature many amenities. The thick walls provide a cool temperature inside.The house is partly because of the construction rather large and the owner is enthousdiast sufficient to increase even more. All around is a lot of grassland, which run two lovely donkeys. Who come every day to stop by a piece of bread or some apple peels to halen.In the village is opposite the mairie (town hall), a good bakery, which also cakes, fruit, sells newspapers. You will be friendly geholpen.Voor young children and adolescents, there is maybe some little to do, have for nature lovers and tranquility is the place over ideaal.Je there is time to think and read. I just might like to know more about the origins of this house, why is it called Les Murailles? And what does Le Benouis? What Baguer Morvan? The latter is the name of the village and it looks like a Breton name?

The house is like us very well. It was very complete, everything you could think of was there! Environment is very nice, kids enjoyed the wheat harvest. The towns along the coast such as St Malo and Cancale are highly recommended. And St Suliac is a brilliant dorpje.Kortom there is plenty to do!

Les Bleus Volets was for our family the ideal base for making all trips to all sorts of wonderful places and sights. Many possibilities, small downside you +/- 20km still to ride. Alternatively you can after the exit quietly enjoy a delicious BBQ on one of the terraces around the house. Our kids loved it too great to give every morning donkeys bread. A nice experience.

Beautiful location with open views all around the house and 100% privacy. Cosy cottage atmosphere with large fireplace and big open kitchen / living area. Kids (11 14 18) Actually loved the peace and quiet - reading, playing cards, table tennis, searching for firewood and goofing around with the two donkeys on the property. Mont Saint Michel is worth visiting and the hiking route at Pointe Grouin offers spectacular views of the sea.

The house is very authentic renovated and located in a beautiful area near Dol-de-Bretagne, where you have a good fishmonger, good cheese shops, bakeries, butchers and typical restaurants. Furthermore Dol also large supermarkets. The house is very cozy with the fireplace, there is the perfectly equipped kitchen where you can really find everything you need. In a class room separate new washer and dryer. The bathrooms are spacious and full of light. The bedrooms have good beds! The hobby room with table tennis was a hit for our son 10 (every day a small tournament). From the garden you can see the donkeys walking, in our case there are two lovely horses at. Furthermore, only woods and meadows, one and all privacy. You hear rarely or never overtake a car, and yet you are so close to beautiful places like Dol-de-Bretagne, Cancale, Saint-Malo, Dinan, Dinard, Mont-Saint-Michel, Cap Frehel etc. A mass oysters Restaurants sat for a few euros a kilo Bouchot mussels for a few dollars, a range of ciders directly from the farmer ..., especially the salty crepes in Breizhcafe Cancale remember! We enjoyed our stay but found it not suitable for our 18 month old as the garden was not properly enclosed and there was free access to electric fences and animals in the fields beyond the electric fence. It also became far too hot at night in the bedrooms (all in the eaves). However, it is a lovely quiet setting and has good living space plus a nice sunny terrace with barbeque.

A warm welcome from house owner Peter set the tone for two highly enjoyable week spent in this charming house. The secluded setting offers privacy and peace, with beautiful sunsets and no traffic to be heard. At the bottom of the garden is a large field with two donkeys, Which kept our son (8) entertained. In the left wing of the house one can play table tennis. A fifteen minute drive takes you to the beach or Cancale where you can sample locally farmed oysters, mussels and other seafood delicacies. For those who enjoy walking along the cliffs, one can pick up the coastal path to St Malo and Dinard, both well worth visiting. Art lovers May want to visit museums in Dinard and Rennes, Including the new Modern Art Museum accessible by bus and car on the outskirts of Rennes. In short, it was a wonderful holiday with plenty to keep everyone happy.

This detached bungalow offers an oasis of tranquility. The bungalow is in a great location, you have a clear view of all sides and imagine you are alone in the world. After a warm welcome by the Dutch owner (with refreshments in the refrigerator) we quickly found our turn in this spacious house with nice terrace. The bathroom is beautiful and so is the fireplace. The mattresses on the beds are (too) hard and bad breathing, but that 's really the only point of kritiek.De environment is really worth it. The beach is about half an hour by car and there are some very nice ( and quiet!) beaches buurt.Bijzonder fun for smaller children it Cobac amusement park nearby. We have been there twice. Purchasing we did in Dol-de-Bretagne (large supermarket) and also easy in Baguer- Morvan is a bakery that has fresh bread every day.

A week is too short in this lovely house in a beautiful setting ligt.Het house is bigger than the website suggests. It is also a wonderful combination of modern with Breton. Especially the kitchen / room is cozy and fully voorzien.Wij were here the first week of July 2010 with two children (8 and 10 years) and enjoyed. It is quiet and the kids had plenty of room to explore and play. The owners make you feel welcome with advice and suggestions regarding environment, a bunch of flowers and a bottle cider.Bezienswaardigheden and beaches are well within driving distance. The highway is best reached by Roz-Landrieux.

We, family with two children aged 13 and 15 years, had a top week in "Les Volets Blues". A very spacious house with an amazing view, lovely nature. The weather was good during our stay (spring break 2010) compared with the rest of Europe, where it was moderate. If you go to the coast (20 minutes) you can see the sky open up and the sun appear. Every night we have from half past nine to made the fireplace. Service of the house was already 10 euros logs (just real tree trunks and no praxis package) was lit and we are able to firing. Throughout the week for only 10 euros after a few days On the interior of the house, nothing more than good, very generous expansion of plates, glasses, pans etc. good furnace with multiple baking dishes, plenty of garden furniture and a large room where there was a table tennis table. "Les Volets Bleus" is a converted old farmhouse with nice touches such as modern bathrooms and partial glass panels as a roof, so there was a beautiful light in the different areas. The environment is great, really Bretons, and s' evening when walking our dog we saw some deer to their hideout in the woods gaan.Kortom highly recommended if you want to stay quiet in nature and do nearby

Very kindly received by the Dutch owner. Beautiful house, quiet location. In the morning and in the evening some agricultural traffic, but not really bothered by it. Cottage is spacious, two bathrooms, one with a bath. Beds were certainly not bad. Only downside were the chairs at the dining table, which we found really bad. Therefore, only briefly sat at the table.Mooie fireplace and wood stove, enough wood available to use. However, we did not use it because we did not find it cold. The best of all we found the two donkeys in the garden. These were waiting for us in the morning for breakfast and in the afternoon when we came back for dinner. Lots to do in the area within half an hour's drive, such as St Malo, Mont St Michel, Dinan, Cancale, etc.

Wij hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad in les Murailles. Het huis is sfeervol, zeer ruim en comfortabel ingericht. Helaas hadden wij tijdens onze week verblijf niet het beste weer, maar de grote houtkachel zorgde voor veel warmte, ook op de bovenverdieping. Er waren maar liefst 3 toiletten, een fijn bad en 2 douches. De tafeltennis was een hit bij onze kinderen van 6 en 8 jaar. De bedden lagen heerlijk en het was elke ochtend fijn wakker worden met niks anders dan het geluid van fluitende vogels. In de keuken was het prima koken, goede inventaris, alle meer dan voldoende aanwezig (bestek, glazen, borden, alles was er). Bij binnenkomst was eigenaar Peter aanwezig voor een korte uitleg en tips over de omgeving. Er stond een fles cider in de koelkast en prachtige bloemen uit de de tuin op tafel. Het huis ligt heerlijk rustig, grote tuin en nog een apart terras waar je kan barbecueën. Op het terrein zijn 2 ezeltjes wat het verblijf extra leuk maakte. Op een half uur rijafstand genoeg te doen (st Malo, Dinan, Cancale etc.) en er zij 3 grote supermarkten op 10-15 minuten rijden. Wij hebben genoten van een week rust en ruimte en we komen absoluut nog een keer terug. Peter, bedankt voor dit fijne verblijf!

Spacious house on a large piece of land. Environment is very rural, green and quiet. In the backyard are 2 donkeys that have to be fed "in the morning and" in the evening. Very nice! The house is very spacious but hardly isolated. So it can cool down considerably. There are electric heaters throughout the house. You have to pay for the electricity you use separately. The living room has a fireplace (2x) that we have used every day. Very nice. The fireplace wood you have to pay separately (EUR 15 for a week). We also found many chestnuts in the area (delicious as a snack). The Dutch owner was friendly and helpful. It is about a 20 minute drive to the beach where you can buy fresh oysters etc. There are plenty of nice places in the area to visit. All in all a very successful week.

We enjoyed the peace, space and privacy that the house. Especially the lovely garden and the huge terrace are a must around the house you can sit down anywhere from the wind, in the sun or in the shade of the trees. R nThe a few minutes you can get all the messages, and also is not far from several charming towns and villages, including Dol-de-Bretagne, Saint-Malo, Cancale. R nA place to remember!

After a warm welcome by the Dutch owner (with refreshments in the refrigerator) we quickly found our turn in this spacious house with nice terrace. The bathroom is beautiful and so is the fireplace. The mattresses on the beds are (too) hard and bad breathing, but that 's really the only point of kritiek.De environment is really worth it. The beach is about half an hour by car and there are some very nice ( and quiet!) beaches buurt.Bijzonder fun for smaller children it Cobac amusement park nearby. We have been there twice. Purchasing we did in Dol-de-Bretagne (large supermarket) and also easy in Baguer- Morvan is a bakery that has fresh bread every day.

We, family with two children aged 13 and 15 years, had a top week in "Les Volets Blues". A very spacious house with an amazing view, lovely nature. The weather was good during our stay (spring break 2010) compared with the rest of Europe, where it was moderate. If you go to the coast (20 minutes) you can see the sky open up and the sun appear. Every night we have from half past nine to made the fireplace. Service of the house was already 10 euros logs (just real tree trunks and no praxis package) was lit and we are able to firing. Throughout the week for only 10 euros after a few days On the interior of the house, nothing more than good, very generous expansion of plates, glasses, pans etc. good furnace with multiple baking dishes, plenty of garden furniture and a large room where there was a table tennis table. The house is very authentic renovated and located in a beautiful area near Dol-de-Bretagne, where you have a good fishmonger, good cheese shops, bakeries, butchers and typical restaurants. In a class room separate new washer and dryer. The bathrooms are spacious and full of light. The bedrooms have good beds! A warm welcome from house owner Peter set the tone for two highly enjoyable week spent in this charming house. The secluded setting offers privacy and peace, with beautiful sunsets and no traffic to be heard. At the bottom of the garden is a large field with two donkeys, Which kept our son (8) entertained. In the left wing of the house one can play table tennis. A fifteen minute drive takes you to the beach or Cancale where you can sample locally farmed oysters, mussels and other seafood delicacies. For those who enjoy walking along the cliffs, one can pick up the coastal path to St Malo and Dinard, both well worth visiting. Art lovers May want to visit museums in Dinard and Rennes, Including the new Modern Art Museum accessible by bus and car on the outskirts of Rennes. In short, it was a wonderful holiday with plenty to keep everyone happy.

Les Bleus Volets was for our family the ideal base for making all trips to all sorts of wonderful places and sights. Many possibilities, small downside you +/- 20km still to ride. Alternatively you can after the exit quietly enjoy a delicious BBQ on one of the terraces around the house. Our kids loved it too great to give every morning donkeys bread. A nice experience.

After a warm welcome by the Dutch owner (with refreshments in the refrigerator) we quickly found our turn in this spacious house with nice terrace. The bathroom is beautiful and so is the fireplace. The mattresses on the beds are (too) hard and bad breathing, but that 's really the only point of kritiek.De environment is really worth it. The beach is about half an hour by car and there are some very nice ( and quiet!) beaches buurt.Bijzonder fun for smaller children it Cobac amusement park nearby. We have been there twice. Purchasing we did in Dol-de-Bretagne (large supermarket) and also easy in Baguer- Morvan is a bakery that has fresh bread every day.

A week is too short in this lovely house in a beautiful setting ligt.Het house is bigger than the website suggests. It is also a wonderful combination of modern with Breton. Especially the kitchen / room is cozy and fully voorzien.Wij were here the first week of July 2010 with two children (8 and 10 years) and enjoyed. It is quiet and the kids had plenty of room to explore and play. The owners make you feel welcome with advice and suggestions regarding environment, a bunch of flowers and a bottle cider.Bezienswaardigheden and beaches are well within driving distance. The highway is best reached by Roz-Landrieux.

Lovely house. Domestic. Fully equipped. And most of all, atmospheric and French. Space, tranquility and beautiful surroundings with lots of uap trips in half an hour. Wonderful indoor and outdoor space. Just do it. Great owner too.

The owner is present on arrival. The reception is warm and we get a tour of the house plus several tips to do in the area. The house is very spacious and equipped with every comfort. Flowers on the table and 2 bottles of cider in the fridge. It gives a welcome feeling. Fine the walled terrace where our dog could not. Two wonderful weeks here!

Perfect reception by owner Peter. Les Volets bleus is a cute authentic house with all amenities in the middle of nature. Dol-de-Bretagne is a nice town where everything can be found. The sea a fifteen minute drive, plenty of culinary choice etc ...

The location was good to find. The reception was relaxed and warm. The use of the spacious equipment was well explained. In addition, we received several tips for trips in the area. All in all a real aanrader.Een big plus is that you have a lot of places around the house where you can choose to sit in the sun or shade. There is also sufficient garden furniture available and good solid tables. The beds are very good but unfortunately a bit short (was known by the way) and also the shower was very nice with an un-French beam. From the house you can make nice trips to Rennes, forest of Mesnil, St. Malo, Dinard, Dinan, St Suliac etc. Furthermore, of course, beautiful routes along the Rance and the coast.

Spacious house on a large piece of land. Environment is very rural, green and quiet. In the backyard are 2 donkeys that have to be fed "in the morning and" in the evening. Very nice! The house is very spacious but hardly isolated. So it can cool down considerably. There are electric heaters throughout the house. You have to pay for the electricity you use separately. The living room has a fireplace (2x) that we have used every day. Very nice. The fireplace wood you have to pay separately (EUR 15 for a week). We also found many chestnuts in the area (delicious as a snack). The Dutch owner was friendly and helpful. It is about a 20 minute drive to the beach where you can buy fresh oysters etc. There are plenty of nice places in the area to visit. All in all a very successful week.

A very nice, romantic holiday home in nature. It has a huge garden with two donkeys belonging to the house and many animals of nature: lizards, hornets, owls, weasels, dormouse etc. The inside of the house is very cozy and pleasant, but not luxurious. Our four children always had something beautiful to discover.

Welcoming reception by the owner. Nice house, beautiful large garden, sheltered by shrubs and trees. Two sweet donkeys in the garden. No neighbors in the happy area. Lots to see and do in the vicinity. It was nice weather! We had a wonderful holiday.

Very kindly received by the Dutch owner. Beautiful house, quiet location. In the morning and in the evening some agricultural traffic, but not really bothered by it. Cottage is spacious, two bathrooms, one with a bath. Beds were certainly not bad. Only downside were the chairs at the dining table, which we found really bad. Therefore, only briefly sat at the table.Mooie fireplace and wood stove, enough wood available to use. However, we did not use it because we did not find it cold. The best of all we found the two donkeys in the garden. These were waiting for us in the morning for breakfast and in the afternoon when we came back for dinner. Lots to do in the area within half an hour's drive, such as St Malo, Mont St Michel, Dinan, Cancale, etc.

beautiful house completely in the green, quiet location. lots to do in the area +- 30 km, beautiful excursions to Cancale and then along the coast to Saint-Malo, beautiful. House was cozy, pretty practical, only I missed a wardrobe upstairs, there are mainly coat racks provided. But we solved that conveniently by just leaving everything downstairs near the bathroom. very friendly owner, deposit and final settlement went correctly.

The house is very authentic renovated and located in a beautiful area near Dol-de-Bretagne, where you have a good fishmonger, good cheese shops, bakeries, butchers and typical restaurants. Furthermore Dol also large supermarkets. The house is very cozy with the fireplace, there is the perfectly equipped kitchen where you can really find everything you need. In a class room separate new washer and dryer. The bathrooms are spacious and full of light. The bedrooms have good beds! The hobby room with table tennis was a hit for our son 10 (every day a small tournament). From the garden you can see the donkeys walking, in our case there are two lovely horses at. Furthermore, only woods and meadows, one and all privacy. You hear rarely or never overtake a car, and yet you are so close to beautiful places like Dol-de-Bretagne, Cancale, Saint-Malo, Dinan, Dinard, Mont-Saint-Michel, Cap Frehel etc. A mass oysters Restaurants sat for a few euros a kilo Bouchot mussels for a few dollars, a range of ciders directly from the farmer ..., especially the salty crepes in Breizhcafe Cancale remember! We enjoyed our stay but found it not suitable for our 18 month old as the garden was not properly enclosed and there was free access to electric fences and animals in the fields beyond the electric fence. It also became far too hot at night in the bedrooms (all in the eaves). However, it is a lovely quiet setting and has good living space plus a nice sunny terrace with barbeque.
