On arrival the owner was waiting for us in the company of her cute dog Alma. The welcome was warm and we were immediately given a tour of the spacious and beautiful home. The friendly owner was always available for questions and personally maintained the pool. There is a terrace on three facades of the house and we enjoyed the tranquility and the view of the Vézère valley which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lascaux is only 10 km away and there are many other places of interest. The canoe trips on the Vézère River are highly recommended. In short, this holiday has certainly exceeded our expectations.

Super nice and quiet location within walking distance of the castle. The house has three beautiful rooms and remains surprisingly cool, so fresh bedrooms to spend the night without the need for air conditioning. The kitchen has all the necessary amenities including dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge with freezer. Recommended are the towns of Motigniac (from here you can go down the vésière by kayak to 20 km), Sarlat and Beynac (medieval town). For the supermarket best the Auchamp in Terrasonne. The bakery on the square in Le lardin Saint Lazare and last but not least visit la table d'Aubas where you can enjoy a beautiful 5-course regional menu (with numerous options) for less than 20 €. just do it ;-)

This place is better than most hostels I've stayed in. The kitchen had everything I needed, plus there's a nice pool! It's also close to some amazing caves which were super interesting. For budget travelers like me, it's solid value compared to other options around.

For what I paid, this place was a steal! The location near Condat-sur-Vézère is really nice with plenty of things to explore nearby. The swimming pool was definitely my favorite part, it made my solo adventure feel special and refreshing after long days out.

The kitchen was well-equipped, which made cooking meals easy for us. We especially loved having breakfast on the terrace every morning, soaking up the sun together before heading out for hikes nearby. Overall, it felt like a cozy home away from home.

The villa is beautifully situated in the countryside, but you can quickly return to the inhabited world. The hostess, Marie, is very nice and helpful. You can just call her with questions. You can also go to the neighbor (to the right when looking at the house) for any assistance. In the small village itself, you can buy bread and soft drinks at the grocery store. Do be careful of oncoming traffic as it is very narrow in the picturesque village. The French are generally quite grumpy in the car… The house is highly recommended!

The weather was beautiful and sometimes really hot, but the house stayed nice and cool, including the bedrooms. Delicious! The kitchen was well equipped with everything. And good quality. Also makes it pleasant. The owner is a very friendly lady and you immediately felt welcome. Furthermore, the house was "spic and span" and smelling fresh on arrival, so that is well worth the 60 euros in cleaning costs. Top spot!

Welcoming reception by the owner. She was waiting for us on the property between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM. She only speaks French or Spanish, so we had to use Google Translate. Accommodation is more than enough for a family of four. We spent a lot of time in the spacious pool at 40 degrees. It is a great addition.

We could always call her if there was something wrong and she would solve it immediately. The house was very clean and had excellent beds. It remained nice and cool inside, even at 30 degrees if you kept the shutters closed. We enjoyed the lovely terrace(s), the beautiful large garden and not to forget the lovely swimming pool. There is plenty to do and see in the area. In Terrasson-Lavilledieu you have "Les Jardins de l"Imaginaire" and a beautiful large market on Thursday mornings. The caves of Lascaux are certainly worth a visit. In Marquay the Château de Puymartin, in Tursac "Village de la Madeleine" etc. We can recommend this lovely house in this beautiful place to everyone!

It is a spacious, neat and excellently cleaned house, taken care of down to the last detail! The only disadvantage we found was that the door handles and door locks were past their prime. We were afraid that someone would lock themselves in a room and not come out. The owner is a very friendly and helpful woman! A warm welcome and thoughts about the holiday!

The advantage was with us that we also had beautiful weather all week and could enjoy the pool with sun beds. If you like private this is eminently an excellent property. Also delicious are the shutters on the windows, nice and cool! So you have no air conditioning needed.

Lovely house in a quiet area just 15 minutes drive from beautiful Montignac. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the friendly owner with her little dog. The only difficulty was the language barrier since she only speaks French. We enjoyed two wonderful weeks in the house, pool, and surroundings. Everyone could do what they wanted, so it was really a relaxing holiday for the kids too! We will definitely come back again.
