Beautiful house and great location. Maintenance of the house is lagging behind. Dated in terms of furniture and style. Completely private if there are no tenants in the house on the right. Super large rooms. Swimming pool was not heated. I think the heat pump is/was defective. During the week that we rented, no extra chlorine was cleaned in the skimmers or swimming pool. We did this ourselves.
The last 2 days we did not have access to the American refrigerator. we could use the refrigerator of the 2nd house 50m away.

Free from these problems we had a pleasant holiday. Just a shame that this building is somewhat left to its own devices.

nice view from terrace, swimming pool heated. Location is adjacent to the vineyards. Very nice walking in the area, Bergerac at about 12 km where all major supermarkets can be found. In Segoules small supermarket, ATM and gas station. Highly recommended for those looking for peace. House stays cool due to very thick walls.

Very nice area and well located villa. Nice view of a wine chateau and no "burden" from neighbors. The heated pool was pleasant and quite large. The house itself is large and spacious. There are a few points worth mentioning: The mattresses are really not comfortable (anymore); The house was cold and damp on arrival, difficult to heat via the wood stove in the living room. Over time we became more adept at "catching" the heat from outside inside, so that the bedrooms went from 15 to 18 degrees; The extraction in the bathroom does not work properly, despite opening the window after showering, it was not too prevent mold from forming from day 4; We were the first tenant who stayed in the house a little longer after the winter period, the drains had a hard time with this. Despite these points, we still had a nice stay, we give the accommodation a 7 that with some simple adjustments could easily become an 8+.

Reception was not well arranged, we could not reach anyone and then we were there. The two people who eventually came were super friendly and helped us well. Belvilla did not cooperate in this in terms of communication. Cottage was neatly maintained, lovely pool. You have a view of the garden from the other house next to us if it is rented out. Beautiful surroundings. Shops nearby. Nice place!

Problem for dogs and children - high humidity in the house - lack of general maintenance for small things. Too bad because the house is beautiful but should be more maintained (lack of light bulbs or not the right formats, various machines not cleaned, pool cover difficult to ......) - lack of wardrobes - the river mentioned at 300 m in the is not accessible Dear owner, you have a superb home but which requires a complete maintenance and overhaul plus finally a tidying up of your hedge in order to have the promised privacy

We arrived an hour earlier than expected and the very friendly neighbors we had called immediately brought the key. Give one word of explanation and at the same time make a chat. Beautiful old winery with very spacious and beautiful rooms. Perfectly located 1.5 km from a small village with a tasty bakery and a small supermarket. Within 20 minutes you are Bergerac or other small but cozy medieval village. For those who really care about privacy, there could still be some more bushes along the quiet street side and neighbors. If the entrance would be a bit more accessible to get in with a buggy, we will definitely be back.

The arrival was certainly good, because we had arrived too early, and were allowed to enter the house immediately. The big downside of this property is that the hedge around the pool is completely broken and therefore no longer private if the property behind is also rented out. We were lucky not.

Very good in general, but the fenced garden turned out not to be closed. our dog ran away. Next to the house is another house that looks into the garden and at the pool so little privacy. Now there was nobody, so there was no problem for us.

We were kindly received by a neighbor from a few houses away. Gave a tour and useful info. You do need to speak French, because otherwise the communication will go less smoothly. The heated pool is beautiful and well maintained. Quiet environment and privacy assured. Restaurants and supermarket at 5 min by car.

We were kindly received (by the neighbor) and received a detailed explanation. It is a beautiful house with a beautiful, extremely spacious master bedroom and a beautiful parquet in the living room. Very cool because of the thick walls, even though it is thirty degrees outside. We enjoyed the pool and the beautiful view and especially the peace and nature around. It is ten minutes walk to the village, where with a small Carrefour everything is what you need. Only downside is the lack of a pool vacuum cleaner so the bottom of the pool is difficult to get clean (or the poolboy never really stopped). Definitely worth the effort.

All amenities are provided and the location is fantastic (what a beautiful setting). Our dog could live on the grounds without interfering with third parties. It was lovely swimming in the large heated swimming pool. Although it was bad weather for the time of year, we hope to return the same period next year.

Lovely barn conversion that is typical for this area of France. It is well finished with one lovely double bedroom, a second less impressive (but entirely acceptable) double bedroom and a basic twin room. The bathroom is lovely and looks to have been recently upgraded to a high standard, and the living area and kitchen is modern and bright and well fitted out. The garden is enclosed and is a lovely atmosphere with a brilliant heated covered pool that kept the children quiet for hours on end. This area is a beautiful place to spend the days away and is quiet and peaceful. The village of Sigoules is less that 1km away (2 mins by car or 10 mins on foot down an unlit road), and the nearby Pomport Beach resort provides facilities to use for children at a small daily fee of €5. The house is perfect for a quiet retreat for families or couples and is close enough to keep you entertained with the nearby restaurants and amenities. If the second double bedroom and twin room could be finished in keeping with the remainder of the house this would be a superb addition and would be great for a travelling families (without one feeling like they are getting the poorer facilities). We were met by an elderly French man who was more of a 'helpful neighbour' than a 'meet greeter'. He spoke no English and looked like he had just finished a long day in the fields rather than was waiting to welcome us. The money we were supposed to pay on arrival for cleaning bed linen was not taken and therefore we went without the bed linen all of our stay (luckily we have family nearby that lent it to us) The lady that collected the cleaning money on the day we left, also spoke no English and as we handed her the money she simply got in her car and drove away....it was all a bit 'cold' and not in keeping with the wonderful stay we had enjoyed at the house. In summary, this is a lovely accommodation that offers superb value and comfort. Thank you.

On arrival we were welcomed by friendly French lady. Short clear explanation of everything in and around the house.The house smelled really not good. One of my kids described it as the air of an old wet dog. - (The pool was dirty and gave a kind of slippery feel on your skin, according to the definition in the house would be Wednesday and Sunday someone come clean the pool We have not seen anyone in all glasses and plates were dirty in the cupboards The.... floors below the dog hairs and we are two bedrooms, toilet and bathroom cockroaches tegengekomen.De bathroom was really dirty and old. There were real picture to be posted on the site to show tenants what they can verwachten.Echt great pity of this beautiful house in a beautiful location. Enough of the area can enjoy and nice to sit in the garden.

The place is fantastic, especially the view. You're too nice outside unobserved. The village is within walking distance, with all sorts of middle class. Not really a very nice and cozy dorp.De region is very beautiful and green. There are more than enough to plan trips using worth point.The house could use some maintenance. The plumbing is outdated. In the bathroom hangs a geyser which ignites with a bang (scary). Too much mixing of cold water halts gas supply so suddenly standing under a cold shower. achieve a comfortable shower temperature is impossible. The jets of water from the shower do pijn.Het pool is lovely. Mind you with small children. When they walk over the edge on one side so they can fall down to two meters.

This is a beautiful, rustic, converted farmhouse a short walk away from a charming village in the middle of some stunning wine country. It is very well equipped, Has A modern kitchen, a rustically decorated interior HAS and enough outdoor space to enjoy the good life of eating outdoors and lounging around the lovely heated pool. There is plenty to see and do in the region and is a must for wine-lovers. The locals are very welcoming, the food at the local pub, Bar Code, was excellent, and we were very well Helped by Mrs. Chassagne, who looks after the property. We went in late September and had a perfect week.

This mansion is a gem! The private pool was a highlight for us, perfect for cooling off in the warm weather. We spent a lot of time barbecuing on the terrace and enjoying outdoor meals. The owner was very welcoming and provided helpful tips about local attractions. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with family or friends, I highly recommend it!

The stay really has everything to be purely positive, were it not for the fact that it wasn't really clean (cobwebs), that it was cold & damp throughout the whole house. As if it was the first rental of the year and everything had been empty for months, but that turned out not to be the case. There was only 1 wood stove in the living room and 1 electric heater, no central heating (or at least it was completely off, we were told to use the wood that was available). On summer days this is fine and it is nice and cool in the house, but during this period it was simply too chilly and damp in the house in the evenings. A working central heating system to maintain a basic temperature would have been useful. So we had to turn on the electric heater in advance, and the towels had to be in the dryer first before you could actually take your bath/shower. Also, all the clothes were damp when you had to put them on, even though they were in the closet. Fortunately, the environment and pool made up for a lot during the stay, but the house could have been handled much better.

We had a great time at the villa! The space was immense and really clean, I loved cooking in the equipped kitchen, and we spent so many evenings grilling on the terrace, The views were just magnificent, especially at sunset, We couldn't explore the nearby caves, but the location was very convenient for day trips, The only downside was that the WiFi was a bit slow, but honestly, who needs it when you have a pool?

A bit rustic for my taste, but it adds charm. The location is beautiful, with plenty of nature around. We enjoyed walking and biking nearby. The kitchen had everything we needed, which was a plus.

What a breathtaking location! The villa is located on top of a hill with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. We loved spending the evenings on the terrace, enjoying the sunset. The spacious living room was perfect for our family gatherings.

This mansion is a gem! The private pool was a highlight for us, perfect for cooling off in the warm weather. We spent a lot of time barbecuing on the terrace and enjoying outdoor meals. The owner was very welcoming and provided helpful tips about local attractions. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with family or friends, I highly recommend it!

The stay has in principle really everything to be only positive, were it not that it was not really clean (cobwebs), that it was cold & damp throughout the whole house. As if it was the first rental of the year and everything had been empty for months, but that turned out not to be the case. There was only 1 wood stove in the living room and 1 electric heater, no central heating (or at least it was completely off, we were told to use the wood that was available). On summer days this is fine and it is pleasantly cool in the house, but during this period it was simply too chilly and damp in the house in the evenings. A working central heating system to maintain a basic temperature would have been useful. So we had to turn on the electric heater in advance and the towels had to go in the dryer first before you could actually take your bath/shower. Also, all the clothes were damp when you had to put them on, even though they were in the closet. Fortunately, the environment & pool made up for a lot during the stay, but the house could have been handled much better.

The villa is well furnished and clean, We appreciated how quiet it was, despite being close to some main roads, Perfect for those wanting to escape the city noise, The only downside was the limited dining options nearby.

This is a beautiful, rustic, converted farmhouse a short walk away from a charming village in the middle of some stunning wine country. It is very well equipped, Has A modern kitchen, a rustically decorated interior HAS and enough outdoor space to enjoy the good life of eating outdoors and lounging around the lovely heated pool. There is plenty to see and do in the region and is a must for wine-lovers. The locals are very welcoming, the food at the local pub, Bar Code, was excellent, and we were very well Helped by Mrs. Chassagne, who looks after the property. We went in late September and had a perfect week.

Beautiful house and great location. Maintenance of the house is lagging behind. Dated in terms of furniture and style. Completely private if there are no tenants in the house on the right. Super large rooms. Swimming pool was not heated. I think the heat pump is/was defective. During the week that we rented, no extra chlorine was cleaned in the skimmers or swimming pool. We did this ourselves.
The last 2 days we did not have access to the American refrigerator. we could use the refrigerator of the 2nd house 50m away.

Free from these problems we had a pleasant holiday. Just a shame that this building is somewhat left to its own devices.

Very quietly located former wine farm, with spacious rooms, very

nice view from terrace, swimming pool heated. Location is adjacent to the vineyards. Very nice walking in the area, Bergerac at about 12 km where all major supermarkets can be found. In Segoules small supermarket, ATM and gas station. Highly recommended for those looking for peace. House stays cool due to very thick walls.

Very nice area and well located villa. Nice view of a wine chateau and no "burden" from neighbors. The heated pool was pleasant and quite large. The house itself is large and spacious. There are a few points worth mentioning: The mattresses are really not comfortable (anymore); The house was cold and damp on arrival, difficult to heat via the wood stove in the living room. Over time we became more adept at "catching" the heat from outside inside, so that the bedrooms went from 15 to 18 degrees; The extraction in the bathroom does not work properly, despite opening the window after showering, it was not too prevent mold from forming from day 4; We were the first tenant who stayed in the house a little longer after the winter period, the drains had a hard time with this. Despite these points, we still had a nice stay, we give the accommodation a 7 that with some simple adjustments could easily become an 8+.

Reception was not well arranged, we could not reach anyone and then we were there. The two people who eventually came were super friendly and helped us well. Belvilla did not cooperate in this in terms of communication. Cottage was neatly maintained, lovely pool. You have a view of the garden from the other house next to us if it is rented out. Beautiful surroundings. Shops nearby. Nice place!

+ very beautiful house surrounded by a large garden + total calm (if no one in the second neighboring house) + large heated swimming pool + beautiful decoration, - only welcome in English (but new people who have been taking care of the house since this year and who will to try we think of helping the tenants well) - garden not completely fenced whereas for 4 years already the tenants have been making the remark. Problem for dogs and children - high humidity in the house - lack of general maintenance for small things. Too bad because the house is beautiful but should be more maintained (lack of light bulbs or not the right formats, various machines not cleaned, pool cover difficult to ......) - lack of wardrobes - the river mentioned at 300 m in the is not accessible Dear owner, you have a superb home but which requires a complete maintenance and overhaul plus finally a tidying up of your hedge in order to have the promised privacy

Beautiful old winery with very spacious and beautiful rooms. Perfectly located 1.5 km from a small village with a tasty bakery and a small supermarket. Within 20 minutes you are Bergerac or other small but cozy medieval village. For those who really care about privacy, there could still be some more bushes along the quiet street side and neighbors. If the entrance would be a bit more accessible to get in with a buggy, we will definitely be back.

The arrival was certainly good, because we had arrived too early, and were allowed to enter the house immediately. The big downside of this property is that the hedge around the pool is completely broken and therefore no longer private if the property behind is also rented out. We were lucky not.

Very good in general, but the fenced garden turned out not to be closed. our dog ran away. Next to the house is another house that looks into the garden and at the pool so little privacy. Now there was nobody, so there was no problem for us.

We were kindly received by a neighbor from a few houses away. Gave a tour and useful info. You do need to speak French, because otherwise the communication will go less smoothly. The heated pool is beautiful and well maintained. Quiet environment and privacy assured. Restaurants and supermarket at 5 min by car.

We were kindly received (by the neighbor) and received a detailed explanation. It is a beautiful house with a beautiful, extremely spacious master bedroom and a beautiful parquet in the living room. Very cool because of the thick walls, even though it is thirty degrees outside. We enjoyed the pool and the beautiful view and especially the peace and nature around. It is ten minutes walk to the village, where with a small Carrefour everything is what you need. Only downside is the lack of a pool vacuum cleaner so the bottom of the pool is difficult to get clean (or the poolboy never really stopped). Definitely worth the effort.

Kind regards by Mevr.Chassagne. It was the 2nd time we spent our vacation at this address (05 - 17/09/17). We find the old house extraordinary. All amenities are provided and the location is fantastic (what a beautiful setting). Our dog could live on the grounds without interfering with third parties. It was lovely swimming in the large heated swimming pool. Although it was bad weather for the time of year, we hope to return the same period next year.

Lovely barn conversion that is typical for this area of France. It is well finished with one lovely double bedroom, a second less impressive (but entirely acceptable) double bedroom and a basic twin room. The bathroom is lovely and looks to have been recently upgraded to a high standard, and the living area and kitchen is modern and bright and well fitted out. The garden is enclosed and is a lovely atmosphere with a brilliant heated covered pool that kept the children quiet for hours on end. This area is a beautiful place to spend the days away and is quiet and peaceful. The village of Sigoules is less that 1km away (2 mins by car or 10 mins on foot down an unlit road), and the nearby Pomport Beach resort provides facilities to use for children at a small daily fee of €5. The house is perfect for a quiet retreat for families or couples and is close enough to keep you entertained with the nearby restaurants and amenities. If the second double bedroom and twin room could be finished in keeping with the remainder of the house this would be a superb addition and would be great for a travelling families (without one feeling like they are getting the poorer facilities). We were met by an elderly French man who was more of a 'helpful neighbour' than a 'meet greeter'. He spoke no English and looked like he had just finished a long day in the fields rather than was waiting to welcome us. The money we were supposed to pay on arrival for cleaning bed linen was not taken and therefore we went without the bed linen all of our stay (luckily we have family nearby that lent it to us) The lady that collected the cleaning money on the day we left, also spoke no English and as we handed her the money she simply got in her car and drove away....it was all a bit 'cold' and not in keeping with the wonderful stay we had enjoyed at the house. In summary, this is a lovely accommodation that offers superb value and comfort. Thank you.

On arrival we were welcomed by friendly French lady. Short clear explanation of everything in and around the house.The house smelled really not good. One of my kids described it as the air of an old wet dog. - (The pool was dirty and gave a kind of slippery feel on your skin, according to the definition in the house would be Wednesday and Sunday someone come clean the pool We have not seen anyone in all glasses and plates were dirty in the cupboards The.... floors below the dog hairs and we are two bedrooms, toilet and bathroom cockroaches tegengekomen.De bathroom was really dirty and old. There were real picture to be posted on the site to show tenants what they can verwachten.Echt great pity of this beautiful house in a beautiful location. Enough of the area can enjoy and nice to sit in the garden.

The place is fantastic, especially the view. You're too nice outside unobserved. The village is within walking distance, with all sorts of middle class. Not really a very nice and cozy dorp.De region is very beautiful and green. There are more than enough to plan trips using worth point.The house could use some maintenance. The plumbing is outdated. In the bathroom hangs a geyser which ignites with a bang (scary). Too much mixing of cold water halts gas supply so suddenly standing under a cold shower. achieve a comfortable shower temperature is impossible. The jets of water from the shower do pijn.Het pool is lovely. Mind you with small children. When they walk over the edge on one side so they can fall down to two meters.
