Les Deux Cabanons. A beautiful paradise in itself.
We stayed with 2 adults and a dog.
The accommodation is rather austere and primitively furnished.
We used the house with kitchen.
Kitchen: dirty pans and crockery. We washed everything before use. Pans are old. Good knife is missing. No breadboard. No hooks for towels and tea towels. No garbage bin with lid. No basin to do small dishes. No dish drainer. No sweeper, no vacuum cleaner.
The bedroom is adjacent to the kitchen. The mattresses are rock hard. And you will notice that after a few nights! Bring a double fitted sheet. And your own blanket/duvet.
Shower and toilet room accessible from outside. Simple but fine. You have to close the door because there is a path passing by from the neighbors.
You can possibly do some laundry. Washing machine worked well. (as well as the dishes and fridge/freezer combination).
The other house smelled extremely musty, even after ventilation. The upstairs bedroom did not appeal to us. The living room is dark and sober.

Outside:
A beautiful terrace! With fantastic views. Lovely to sit in the sun or shade. There were 2 plastic chairs and 2 sun loungers for us. Also simple.
Below the terrace is a large lawn with shady spots.
Beautifully enclosed garden for the dog. There was nowhere to escape. Really an advantage.
There is a BBQ without a grill downstairs in the garden. So that's of no use to you.
The shed downstairs: you can dispose of your separated waste there. It's quite a job for Dutch people to understand this and which color bag and which container it should be in. A little more explanation would not be an unnecessary luxury.
There was minimal information in the house that did not seem up to date.

The managers live next to the house. Super nice couple, French speaking. Friendly and attentive. Their house has a big contrast in terms of care with the accommodation they rent out.

Lived outside, without luxury, but since we are campers we managed fine. The weather was good.

Very primitive accommodation. Not of this time anymore. Photos on your website disguise and do not actually represent a correct picture of accommodation. Very attentive welcome, the gentleman was waiting for us at the village crossroads with a sign. Unusual cottage with 2 independent houses, but it's very convenient. There is a lot of land around, and the area is pleasant for resting, hiking, and doing some sightseeing.

Two houses (like here) are not really convenient because we are two, we only used one house, but it can be nice if you are 2 couples.The area is very suitable to visit all kinds of nice towns such as Sarlat, Domme, Turenne, Rocamadour and Souillac.I can safely list 10 nice towns, and if it is very hot you walk from the house to the lake - Lac du Causse - where you can swim in fresh water. in the immediate vicinity also a few nature reserves where you can walk, seen a lot of birds of prey and even a hops!
