Bayeux is a beautiful Norman town, where we have arrived well. The accommodation was small but cozy. And we were warmly welcomed. The environment is beautiful.

We had the most pleasant stay in the Modern Apartment in Bayeux! The location was perfect – just a short walk to the charming Baron Gerard Museum and a quick drive to the stunning beaches. The apartment itself was cozy and beautifully renovated, making it an ideal romantic retreat. We loved the open kitchen, which was well-equipped for cooking our meals. The heating kept us warm on the cooler evenings, and the Wi-Fi was a nice bonus to stay connected. Definitely a place we would return to!

Located opposite the magnificent Notre Dame Cathedral, which is visited by many tourists. Therefore always some goings on in the square. An alarm clock is unnecessary, because even after eight you will be woken up by the sound of church bells. Furthermore, to achieve all within walking distance. We were not aware that you can not park on the square, only loading and unloading.

Our apartment in the heart of Bayeux was the perfect base for our visits to all the D-Day beaches. Also it was great to step out the door and so many restaurants and shops within walking distance to hebben.De Bayeux cathedral is right opposite the apartment which gives a magnificent view. 8:00 and 19:00 the bells but there was no bother ondervonden.Het apartment wonderfully decorated and well cared for.

Interesting and cozy historic center and also very good base for (day) trips (landing beaches, war museums, war cemeteries, Le Mont-Saint-Michel, Honfleur, Caen, Falaise ...) Highly recommended!

Accommodation was clean, tidy and located in a beautiful location in the heart of Bayeux. Great base for everything related to WW2, cities like Caen and Arromanches and also a day trip but Mont St. Michel.

Only the hygiene of the house leaves something to be desired. Especially the bathroom. It is time for renewal.

We have friends rented the two apartments opposite the cathedral in Bayeux and that was a great base for our plans that week. A minus is that the cleaning of the city already at 6 o'clock "in the morning to go to work under our window! It is also an ideal place for culture and history sniffing in Normandy. Everything is close by, lots of nice restaurants etc.

In abroad, we never used the internet, hence no mails. When we got home, we noticed that the owner still had sent an email on the day we had already left. So miscommunication.

Bayeux is a nice, clean and pleasant town. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. A supermarket is a little further. Bayeux around you can walk or cycle along quiet roads. This apartment is a must!
