Résidence Pra Sainte-Marie is ideally located in Sainte-Marie, opposite the Olympic piste and near the cable car. The resort features a reception area with billiards table, an indoor swimming pool (free), a Turkish bath and a gym. Other features include lifts, ski storage, washing and drying facilities and a parking garage (fees apply; you could also park your car for free in the open parking lot in front of the resort).

Vars is located in the Southern French Alps at an altitude of 1,600 metres. The municipality of Vars consists of four villages (Saint-Marcellin, Sainte-Marie, Sainte-Catherine and Les Claux). They're all really traditional mountain villages, with the exception of Les Claux.
Résidence Pra Sainte-Marie, in the village with the same name, is a great place for a relaxing winter holiday or an active summer holiday. In winter, there's a free shuttle bus to Les Claux (6km).
As a winter sports destination, this area is particularly suitable for families. Your resort is ideally located, at the foot of the Olympic piste and not far from the cable car. This will take you up to the Forêt Blanche skiing area, which consists of around 185km of pistes between Vars and Risoul. The nearest shops are only a 10-minute walk from your resort.

There are plenty of activities here in summer too, including many hiking and mountain bike routes. Vars is located in the sunny Southern Alps, making it very pleasant to sit out on a terrace and enjoy the views of the mountains.

I absolutely loved the wooden style decor of the apartment! It felt like a cozy cabin in the mountains. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. Additionally, the nearby skiing options were a huge plus.

To be honest, everything was quite good. The apartment was nicely decorated and clean. We had a small problem with the WiFi at the beginning, but that was quickly resolved. Moreover, the area is so quiet and close to the national parks, which was a total plus for our hiking plans. Just a heads up, the heating took a while to get going, but once it did, we were nice and cozy. All in all, a solid place to relax!
