A great place for a family reunion! The garden was spacious, and we loved eating outside. The kitchen was equipped with a fridge-freezer and a microwave, which made meal preparation easy. Overall, a lovely experience.

Very nice house, bed, and in a wonderfully quiet location. Especially enjoyed the terrace at the back with a view of the stars and friendly grazing donkeys. Very warmly welcomed by the neighbors. Note! Photos imply a bath. There isn't one. However, there are nice showers, multiple bathrooms, so ideal for family or with friends.

Very nice house, bed, and in a wonderfully quiet location. Especially enjoyed the terrace at the back with a view of the stars and friendly grazing donkeys. Also the garden is very well maintained and the two donkeys nearby are a pleasant company and look forward to carrots. The area is slightly hilly with agricultural land and some forest. Overall a quiet area. Avallon and Vézelay offer cultural highlights.

A very beautiful house where absolutely everything is there what you need for a successful holiday. We were warmly welcomed by the owners. The garden offers a beautiful view of the hill behind and obviously the two donkeys who come regularly look at what you're doing and stabbing their heads over the fence to be caressed. Moreover, the region has much to offer. Recommended!

Had a great holiday. The house is big, very clean and fully equipped. The kitchen is very complete in terms of crockery and pans etc. etc. A nice Weber BBQ, beautiful terrace in the sun. Everywhere shutters that keep the heat out very well, also everywhere mosquito nets in front of the windows. In itself not an unnecessary luxury since there are relatively many (biting) flies. Take fly swatters and anti-fly spray with you!
Upon arrival, the cleaning lady (?) welcomed Isabella. She really only speaks French, which was a bit difficult. Delicious bottle of Chardonnay Brut in the fridge.
The wifi is (especially for French standards) very good!
The garden is lovely, the donkeys (Voltaire and Annais) are super sweet and don't care about barking dogs. The garden is fenced.
The house has many stairs and steps.
The area is beautiful, nice towns to visit and beautiful nature. Supermarkets around the corner.
Maybe 2 more sunbeds for the garden? We brought 2 air mattresses to lie on. The weather was great. There is a large Pyrenean mountain dog running loose in the village and the area; barks a lot and loudly but is apparently harmless…
Otherwise we had 2 great weeks.
In short; an absolute must!!

The garden with the big trees allows you to sit outside even in high heat. Two donkeys are happy about petting. The area offers many small attractions, hiking trails and bicycle tours. If you need the night life or many shops, there is out of place.

Good rooms, lovely terrace, large enough table, good food ... and if you still need something to willing owner always willing to help. The owner has made it during our vacation helpfulness and good tips to unite neighborly, almost family-friendliness and discretion so that in the environment there really almost everyone can feel good, who wants to get involved with that .... We are not hiked there (it would however have been possible) the cultural higlights Beaune (1 hour) and Dijon (1 hour 20) and typical wine villages are a little further away .. for me the more authentic places Auxerre (45 min) Autun Semur (40 min) Vezelay (15 min) Flavigny Alesia Bussy Rabutin (1 hour) are located closer. Shopping venues nearby restaurants also .. The friendly donkey Anais and Voltaire are an asset for the holidays
