It is a beautiful environment, a lovely cottage with everything you need, the sauna is perfect, the only two downsides are the hill you have to drive up to your cottage, which is steep and made of repack, not ideal for a regular car, and secondly, the wasps and hornets, which drive you crazy, but all that shouldn't spoil the fun, all in all, I would say if I had to give it a score, it would be a solid 9.

From start to finish, a successful stay. It began with me contacting the manager a day before arrival and speaking with a very nice lady who spoke perfect German. The key handover on the day of arrival was carried out by the manager, who was also super nice, spoke flawless German, and explained everything to us calmly, even though it seemed like chaos was happening in the restaurant. Upon arriving at the accommodation, the first impression was more than satisfying. Everything was beautifully arranged and cozy. We spent a few wonderful days there. A few sun loungers and perhaps fly screens in the windows of the sleeping area would have made it even more perfect, but in the end, it didn't change our satisfaction at all. Thank you for this beautiful holiday home.

Upon arrival in bitche, the key was collected at restaurant le strassbourg. Very friendly owner who drove us to the house and gave us an extensive tour. It turned out to be a beautiful house on the edge of the forest, near the large car-free cycle path! Everything was provided, towels, tea towels and even bathrobes. All in all a very pleasant stay to spend your vacation. The only thing you have to take into account is that the plug jumps out as soon as you have the oven and the sauna on at the same time. The accommodation was good. It is in a very quiet surrounding. Bitche is a bigger place in the naberhood. There you can find the Citadel and supermarkets. There are lovely places to make a walk. Zweibrücken is 20 minutes away and a nice big village. The sauna was awesome! I enjoy it a lot. Every you need is in the house. The host is available when needed! When you miss something you can ask for it and pick it up at the Strasbourg hotel.

Our welcome was a bit hectic at our chosen time but no less warm, there was a delicious bottle of white wine ready. The owner Lutz Jannisch had to move on to Germany and therefore did not have much time for us. But this was no problem for us! Very cordial man. Cottage is small but very cozy and fully equipped. Just don't expect too much from the TV channels, these are all foreign channels. The cottage is close to a road that was busier during our weekend than usual. Which, incidentally, I experienced as slightly disruptive, since I had assumed that we would enjoy total silence. But this road also turned quickly, the area also made a lot of good, it is just beautiful. The bed is too small for people of 2.0m and we (my wife and I) both did not sleep well, but the latter is of course very personal, but we had the feeling that the mattress (due to age and frequent use) which had fallen through. The air conditioning is wonderful and keep the house nice and cool, you have to be able to withstand some noise "in the evening, but even then it is nice and cool and that is of course also very nice during the hot summers. The Sauna that is included is simply delightful , with quite a bit of privacy. Unfortunately, the neighbors did have a view of the terrace, which of course negates privacy, but these are only minor things during our great holiday and we recommend everyone who wants a quiet undisturbed holiday in a cozy holiday home with a sauna want to enjoy this stay wholeheartedly!

The communication with the owner was always very pleasant and cordial. The Charlet was really very well equipped (towels, kitchen equipment including basic food, rain shower and electric grill on the terrace) and very clean. The large wooden terrace with the table and the sauna chairs was the absolute hit. The garden and the direct location at the edge of the forest was perfect for us and our dog. The neighbors in about 100 meters away are very nice and not pushy. Large people (over 190 cm) have a drawback (sloping roof, too short bed and beams in the living room). Lovely holiday home with the cosiness and chastity of da5 wood alone. Beautiful, wooded area. Furnishings are good and fine for 3 people. Sleeping area is open and also furnished for 3 persons with a single and a double bed (1.50). Beds are not really long, so accommodated with tall people. Bathroom has a shower. In summer, the darker cabinet is darker, but this is very easy to control with the built-in dimmers on the light switch. The cottage is remote from any entertainment, which we found fine because we looked for peace. We had to put in place the supply of baquette, which did not work. Baquette etc. we bought in Bitche, but we could also get this in a village at 3km distance. In the immediate surrounding villages there is not much to do, but in the vicinity of Bitche there are very interesting and cultural attractions. For us it was a wonderful holiday in a cozy cottage.

The manager is very nice. The accommodation is very pretty, full of character, and very functional. We really appreciated the superb terrace. The bedding is perfect and the toilets are very good too. The setting is also perfect: very quiet, the edge of a forest and therefore with the possibility of seeing different kinds of birds that you do not meet in town, such as woodpeckers or birds of prey, and even squirrels sometimes. Lots of things to see in the area, such as the ruins of medieval castles or picturesque villages, and hundreds of kilometers of possible hikes for sporty holidaymakers. In short, enough to decompress and make the most of your holidays.

Nothing was missing, the house was very cozy, completely and tastefully furnished, lots of peace and we were allowed to enjoy endless nature and forest "bathe". Upon arrival in bitche, the key was collected at restaurant le strassbourg. Very friendly owner who drove us to the house and gave us an extensive tour. It turned out to be a beautiful house on the edge of the forest, near the large car-free cycle path! Everything was provided, towels, tea towels and even bathrobes. All in all a very pleasant stay to spend your vacation. The only thing you have to take into account is that the plug jumps out as soon as you have the oven and the sauna on at the same time. The accommodation was good. It is in a very quiet surrounding. Bitche is a bigger place in the naberhood. There you can find the Citadel and supermarkets. There are lovely places to make a walk. Zweibrücken is 20 minutes away and a nice big village. The sauna was awesome! I enjoy it a lot. Every you need is in the house. The host is available when needed! When you miss something you can ask for it and pick it up at the Strasbourg hotel.

The manager is very nice. The accommodation is very pretty, full of character, and very functional. We really appreciated the superb terrace. The bedding is perfect and the toilets are very good too. What a nice house in a beautiful environment! After we picked up the key at a hotel nearby, where we were very friendly, we drove to the house. Inside it is very cozy, we felt right at home. There was even a beautiful Christmas tree! The sauna is wonderful. Had a very nice week.

Lovely holiday home with the cosiness and chastity of da5 wood alone. Beautiful, wooded area. Furnishings are good and fine for 3 people. Sleeping area is open and also furnished for 3 persons with a single and a double bed (1.50). Beds are not really long, so accommodated with tall people. Bathroom has a shower. In summer, the darker cabinet is darker, but this is very easy to control with the built-in dimmers on the light switch. The cottage is remote from any entertainment, which we found fine because we looked for peace. We had to put in place the supply of baquette, which did not work. Baquette etc. we bought in Bitche, but we could also get this in a village at 3km distance. In the immediate surrounding villages there is not much to do, but in the vicinity of Bitche there are very interesting and cultural attractions. For us it was a wonderful holiday in a cozy cottage.

Our welcome was a bit hectic at our chosen time but no less warm, there was a delicious bottle of white wine ready. The owner Lutz Jannisch had to move on to Germany and therefore did not have much time for us. But this was no problem for us! Very cordial man. Cottage is small but very cozy and fully equipped. Just don't expect too much from the TV channels, these are all foreign channels. The cottage is close to a road that was busier during our weekend than usual. Which, incidentally, I experienced as slightly disruptive, since I had assumed that we would enjoy total silence. But this road also turned quickly, the area also made a lot of good, it is just beautiful. The bed is too small for people of 2.0m and we (my wife and I) both did not sleep well, but the latter is of course very personal, but we had the feeling that the mattress (due to age and frequent use) which had fallen through. The air conditioning is wonderful and keep the house nice and cool, you have to be able to withstand some noise "in the evening, but even then it is nice and cool and that is of course also very nice during the hot summers. The Sauna that is included is simply delightful , with quite a bit of privacy. Unfortunately, the neighbors did have a view of the terrace, which of course negates privacy, but these are only minor things during our great holiday and we recommend everyone who wants a quiet undisturbed holiday in a cozy holiday home with a sauna want to enjoy this stay wholeheartedly!

The Charlet was really very well equipped (towels, kitchen equipment including basic food, rain shower and electric grill on the terrace) and very clean. The large wooden terrace with the table and the sauna chairs was the absolute hit. The garden and the direct location at the edge of the forest was perfect for us and our dog. The neighbors in about 100 meters away are very nice and not pushy. Large people (over 190 cm) have a drawback (sloping roof, too short bed and beams in the living room).
