Warm greeting from the owner, and a warm welcome with a nice bottle of red wine. The cottage itself is what you call small but nice. Everything is present and it is very clean, the view of the village and the mountains is fantastic. The garden is spacious enough for 2 people and you can also reach a lower part via a path. The immediate surroundings are very quiet and there is not much to do in the village, for example, there is no gastronomy. If you walk up the street, there is a path that leads to the top of the mountain, from there you have fantastic views. A supermarket with a bakery can be found a 5-minute drive away in Bad Tabarz, where there is also a pharmacy and a bakery. There are no bike paths in the immediate vicinity, so cycling locally is almost impossible; you would have to take the bikes somewhere else to ride there. There are many sights to visit within a radius of 50 km and also plenty of activities.

So far we feel very comfortable, it is small but nice, everything is clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the refrigerator has aged, it could be replaced, one could save a lot on electricity costs with it. Otherwise, everything is to our satisfaction. We will recommend it further.
