What a fantastic stay! The palace is beautifully designed and provided ample space for our group of 10. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and easy access to the nearby woods for walks. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we had fun preparing brunch on the terrace. Highly recommended for a group getaway!

We were very kindly guided and received via SMS. The house was clean and the sheets were okay. There was a nice playroom. There were many electrical appliances. A lot of extra had to be paid for sheets, electricity, gas, heating, etc. There was little available in the kitchen. All in all, quite expensive for a basic package.

Clean and spacious, this manor comfortably hosted our group. The heating kept us warm during the cool evenings. Although the location is a bit remote, we appreciated the peace and quiet it offered, and the proximity to local attractions was convenient. Overall, a solid choice for a group getaway.

Nice place, a former café that has been converted into a place to stay for larger groups. All necessary supplies were there, albeit a bit outdated. A plus point is the old room that now serves as a relaxation room with a tap billiards and ping-pong table. There was also a shuffleboard table, but the discs were gone 😔. Super pleasant people who rent out the house.

Perfect for a family weekend or week. The accommodation is somewhat dated in terms of furnishing and maintenance, but there is sufficient space and seating. The beds are good, the sofas are comfortable and the showers are excellent. A big plus is the games room with golf billiards and table tennis table that is quickly heated with the heater in it.

The landlord is incredibly attentive and flexible and gives good tips for trips in the area. In terms of location, it is perfect for a visit to Ghent and/or Bruges and there are plenty of walking options nearby.

We absolutely enjoyed our holiday and the stay in this holiday home, sorry about the weather, but of course you can't control that. Beautiful area for walks with or without an obstacle course in the woods nearby. A trip to the sea, Bruges, etc ... and a nice dinner should of course not be missing (brasserie De Radio is highly recommended)

We stay from December 30 to January 2 with a group of 10 people (5 couples). The contact before the start was very pleasant, very clear and a quick response by email to our questions. When collecting the key we were received exceptionally friendly, hospitality at its best! We felt very welcome and felt that all the time was taken for the explanation of the house and the delivery of the key. Upon arrival of the house we were very surprised by the space in the house, for us it was especially important that each couple had their own bedroom and that the living and dining room would be spacious enough. That was certainly the case! As a bonus there is a "playroom" with, among other things, a table tennis table. The kitchen was also fine and both downstairs and upstairs there is a bathroom, with 10 people this was perfect. For groceries there is a large supermarket, Huis Maria, very close by. We went to Ostend for a day, this was about a 30-minute drive. We also visited Ghent, this was about a 20-minute drive. Both very good in terms of distance! On departure a photo was taken of the meter readings and the key placed on the table. The next evening we already had the bill, perfect! We are very satisfied and look back with pleasure to our stay in "De Snoeibijl"! Thanks again for the good care!

Stay from 28/10/2019 to 02/11/201924/10/2019 Message from the owners that they would not be present on arrival, the key would be under the carpet at the back door and the request for the guarantee of € 300 and € 98 € for the sheets for 14 people. to be deposited.28 / 10/2019: message that the deposit had arrived and that they would come the same evening or "the next day with the meter readings.16.30 arrival, the key was not under the mat the back door was open and the key was on the front door on the inside.We have the meter readings left of the front door, as indicated in message from the owners, recorded because they would not come.Stay: was ok, only the appliances in the kitchen are not adapted to come for so many people, there we had serious problems with it.The area is ok not special view but it is finally about being together. Departure: On 1/11/2019 we called that we "would leave the next day. Owners asked meter readings (as indicated earlier to the left of the front door) to send.2 / 11 / 2019Departure around 11am.Meter readings forwarded, keys are left on the inside.Tot there our stay.Afterwards came phone that they do not come in because the keys were on the inside. We always do that at home, but apparently it will depend on the type of cylinder. They had to open a window, which is a shame, we will have to pay the costs, nothing to do about it. Then there was also a message that the sticks of the billiards were hanging in the ceiling !!! I called the lady and asked what I should imagine and she sent a photo. We called the children to account and it turned out that the ceiling was full of holes and they made some more. Of course they should not have done that. I also sent a message to the owners and they now claim a few holes and a few stuffed up. The children are formal, it was full. Unfortunately we did not pay attention to that.

The accommodation met our expectations well enough with enough space for 14 people, the bed linen was ready. Our family weekend could start immediately on Friday evening. The main minuses the house was rather superficially polished (here and there was still dust etc.), the kitchen equipment was rather limited for 14 people (no cutting boards, 1 potato knife, rather small hobs, only a small combi-oven). However, that did not prevent us from looking back with great satisfaction on our stay. There was also a quick settlement of the deposit (the next day already).
