Beautiful spacious house with a large garden. Everything is present, just very messy in the kitchen cabinets, need to search a bit. The furniture is in need of replacement. Cabinets open poorly. Once open, a lot of clutter in the drawers. A toilet roll holder should be placed downstairs. And the jacuzzi should be finished upstairs. Furthermore, very friendly owner and everything was just fine. These are points that the man explained to us that he has ordered everything. But it is taking a while. The man is doing his best. Definitely a recommendation.

Beautiful surroundings, perfect base to explore the area on foot. The house is in urgent need of a makeover. The cleaning also left much to be desired, dirt and dust on the floor, several plates and glasses had to be washed first, towels with stains, ... Limited assortment of glasses and cups, and moreover a mishmash of various models. No beer glasses present.

Upon arrival the neighbor would guide us but we received an email that contained the key in the pizza oven. We did not like this as hospitable. The owner also made it difficult for the tourist tax, he wanted us to pay all week for all persons even for our baby grandchild who only arrived at weekends. Eventually after a lot of devastation, we had to pay for the real occupation, but he did not do that anymore, he said, this gave a feeling. The house is nice but unsafe for small children, the house was also not clean on arrival. The surroundings are beautiful, but take enough groceries because the house is located far away. The clock was a drama, the church and graveyard is really right next to the house, every morning at 730 we woke up to the exuberant clocks of sound.

We went with two families (and 5 children in total) a week to la campanelle to explore the region from this small hamlet of Manhay. That is wonderfully well managed, and the moments at home were blissfully comfortable living room with TV and DVD player, nice pizza oven, brubbelbad, infrared sauna, nice big dining table, beautiful garden with play. More was that its not for us.

Despite the dreadful weather we enjoyed a delightful weekend with 9 friends. After a walk where we were wet to the bone have a hot tub and sauna made up for everything. The house was very complete and cozy and it was great and especially easy to sheets and towels were also provided and sat in the price, which is not in many places. We have recovered the full guarantee, which was correct but is not always evident. The area was for us a little TOO quiet but not disturbing was. So definitely recommended !!!

Suitable for walkers with the towns of Durbuy, La Roche and Baraque Fraiture in the area. The villa itself is very suitable to recover the walks (jacuzzi and sauna) and is certainly in the winter too comfortable with the two wood stoves that enliven the atmosphere in this villa.

For our annual autumn outing went with friends who also have children, to Odeigne. It is nice countryside and is very quiet. With a few steps from the house you walk through the meadows of the rugged woods. The area is nice and hilly. But do just fine for our youngest kids (3). The main trail leads to a beautiful stream. After walking we stop often a nice campfire in the garden. The owner explains there specifically for timber ready. While children were playing on the trampoline and slide we baked pizza 's and cote de boeuf in the wood oven on the patio. Adjacent to the garden is a games room with a fireplace. Here we could chill out when it was colder. Al the oldies were more often in the kitchen, where we have the most delicious dishes cooked with Belgian ingredients (supermarket 15 minutes easy drive). All were also quite a few cartons of wine soldier created with again a fireplace in the kitchen. The kids swam with his three generous in the super large tub with bubbles and leddisco. This house met the expectations in all ways. Only minus point is that the terrace is a bit small for 10 people and its always in the shade. Some garden-chairs would be a very nice addition to sit on the grass. Because of the many stairs I would not recommend this house to families with children or old people. Also the entree from the terrace to the hous needs handrailing DESPERATELY for safety. In general it can be said that handrailing for stairs needs an upgrade.

We booked a weekend with friends. The area is very quiet at the church after which the bells every hour loudly, what was less pleasant from the sleepers among us. The fireplace lit every day made for a very cozy atmosphere that we have spent more time in the dining room or in the living room. The rooms were very nice and the shower is really top. The bathroom with jetted tub and infrared sauna are widely used especially after a day of canoeing in the rain, it was the perfect warm-up! The house is centrally located in various villages where you'll find stores for shopping or for a good walk, you do need a car to bereiken.Conclusie this is that it was a great boulder and cozy!

We stayed 3 nights in this house. Our family (one child aged 4 and 1 of 1) and our (clean) parents from the US have had a great stay. The garden was really fantastic, delicious barbecued and made a nice campfire. The playhouse and trampoline were a great success. Even bedrooms were just fine, nice shower in one of the rooms. Sauna and whirlpool also used, delicious! In terms of security we have missed a gate at the stairs outside, efforts were made to the owner said. And then we had a lot of trouble flying, given the stock fly swatters and spray in the cupboard we were not alone in this. May not be much to do, you're right next to the meadows and forests. The town is really a hamlet nearest store in Manhay but close again in time

The house is located in a nice area, ideal for walking. By car, you are about 20 minutes from La Roche and 30 minutes from Durbuy. The house is next to the church, so we regularly heard the bells, but we didn't find that disturbing at all. The property is situated in a dead-end street, making it very quiet. The garden was very nice for the children, with a slide, trampoline, swing, and the possibility to make a fire. Well, the garden is not fully enclosed, which allows children to quickly run into the street. That is something to consider. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the house. The oven was very dirty, there was mold in the coffee maker, and we had to wash the cutlery ourselves before we could use it. There was a lot of dust everywhere, and there were many cobwebs. The crib was in poor condition, was almost falling apart, and the mattress was very thin — had to take extra cushions from downstairs to slide underneath. Additionally, the door handles upstairs were falling off and several faucets were loose and leaking. The owner was reachable by phone, but not by email. Normally, we would receive an email with additional information, but we never got that. Unfortunately, the surroundings are really beautiful and the cottage itself could be very nice, but due to the condition and hygiene of the property, we will not be returning here.

Too bad the living room is separate from the dining room. There is also an oil smell in the house that is not very pleasant. There are 2 bedrooms that could use some renovation. There could be a bit more kitchen equipment available, and the garden is not fenced for the dogs, which was a big disadvantage. Furthermore, we had a nice stay. The pizza oven was an added value. It's also nice that the village participates in Halloween; all the children join in trick or treating, so if you come that day, be sure to bring costumes. Furthermore, it was nice that the beds were made upon arrival and there were enough towels provided. The surroundings are also very beautiful. Nice walks nearby and a lot to see just a few minutes by car. It was also nice to have the washing machine and dryer since we were soaked from the rain. Overall: the cottage could use a good tidying up and cleaning, there is no cleaning equipment available which is a shame. But we did have a nice time. I still have to mention about the children that there is very bad wifi….

a charming house with many cozy places inside and outside in a beautiful setting. You have to look through some of the flaws to see the charms (an unpleasant smell in some rooms, a loose tap here and there or something less clean,...). Sauna and hot tub are a great asset, but the hot tub has a very weak water jet to fill (so this takes a while). Good beds, clean sanitary facilities and good showers.
Enjoy a cozy and quiet time in the garden or rear sitting area.
I missed the walking routes in the area that were indicated in the house. (However, a nice walk starts at the house)

This is the third year in a row that we, eight young men listening to the name The Real Tatas ®️, celebrate our well-deserved rest together during the summer months. That makes it a true tradition. And again this year we have enjoyed the luxury that this house has to offer. After a long day of mountain biking, laser tag, hiking and exploring the area, it was wonderful to settle down, warm up by the fire and enjoy delicious homemade pizzas, while enjoying a delicious local beer. The location is somewhat different because the church and its cemetery are right next to the house. With nice weather that barely noticeable but with some darker or rainy weather the little children found it a bit scary. Great tour by the friendly policeman and there was an alert ready for the welcome event. Beautiful, spacious and well furnished ardense holiday home where we experienced a relaxing time with our family (6 adults, 2 children + the dog). The hot tub and infrared cabin are an added value, we have all used it all with pleasure. It was a pleasant stay in the large garden and adjacent forest. For the children there is a large trampoline (but without net) and a nice swing with slide. The weather was good for us, so we had the chance to cook around the fire scale on November 1st and also have delicious home-made pizzas in the pizza oven. A beautiful village for walking. The accommodation was TOP! We were six adults and three children. Upstairs 4 bedrooms, a pity that one bedroom had no outside window. But the beds made, there was wood within reach to light the two stoves. Cozy heating. Tasty outside pizza made in the pizza oven. Then in the sauna and the hot tub.

We stayed 3 nights in this house. Our family (one child aged 4 and 1 of 1) and our (clean) parents from the US have had a great stay. The garden was really fantastic, delicious barbecued and made a nice campfire. The playhouse and trampoline were a great success. Even bedrooms were just fine, nice shower in one of the rooms. Sauna and whirlpool also used, delicious! In terms of security we have missed a gate at the stairs outside, efforts were made to the owner said. We went with two families (and 5 children in total) a week to la campanelle to explore the region from this small hamlet of Manhay. That is wonderfully well managed, and the moments at home were blissfully comfortable living room with TV and DVD player, nice pizza oven, brubbelbad, infrared sauna, nice big dining table, beautiful garden with play. Upon arrival the neighbor would guide us but we received an email that contained the key in the pizza oven. We did not like this as hospitable. The location is somewhat different because the church and its cemetery are right next to the house. With nice weather that barely noticeable but with some darker or rainy weather the little children found it a bit scary. For our annual autumn outing went with friends who also have children, to Odeigne. It is nice countryside and is very quiet. With a few steps from the house you walk through the meadows of the rugged woods. The area is nice and hilly. But do just fine for our youngest kids (3). The main trail leads to a beautiful stream. After walking we stop often a nice campfire in the garden. The owner explains there specifically for timber ready. While children were playing on the trampoline and slide we baked pizza 's and cote de boeuf in the wood oven on the patio. Adjacent to the garden is a games room with a fireplace. Here we could chill out when it was colder. Al the oldies were more often in the kitchen, where we have the most delicious dishes cooked with Belgian ingredients (supermarket 15 minutes easy drive). Because of the many stairs I would not recommend this house to families with children or old people. Also the entree from the terrace to the hous needs handrailing DESPERATELY for safety. In general it can be said that handrailing for stairs needs an upgrade.

Beautiful, spacious and well furnished ardense holiday home where we experienced a relaxing time with our family (6 adults, 2 children + the dog). The hot tub and infrared cabin are an added value, we have all used it all with pleasure. It was a pleasant stay in the large garden and adjacent forest. For the children there is a large trampoline (but without net) and a nice swing with slide. The weather was good for us, so we had the chance to cook around the fire scale on November 1st and also have delicious home-made pizzas in the pizza oven. This is the third year in a row that we, eight young men listening to the name The Real Tatas ®️, celebrate our well-deserved rest together during the summer months. That makes it a true tradition. And again this year we have enjoyed the luxury that this house has to offer. After a long day of mountain biking, laser tag, hiking and exploring the area, it was wonderful to settle down, warm up by the fire and enjoy delicious homemade pizzas, while enjoying a delicious local beer. We booked a weekend with friends. The area is very quiet at the church after which the bells every hour loudly, what was less pleasant from the sleepers among us. The fireplace lit every day made for a very cozy atmosphere that we have spent more time in the dining room or in the living room. The rooms were very nice and the shower is really top. The bathroom with jetted tub and infrared sauna are widely used especially after a day of canoeing in the rain, it was the perfect warm-up! The house is centrally located in various villages where you'll find stores for shopping or for a good walk, you do need a car to bereiken.Conclusie this is that it was a great boulder and cozy!

We stayed 3 nights in this house. Our family (one child aged 4 and 1 of 1) and our (clean) parents from the US have had a great stay. The garden was really fantastic, delicious barbecued and made a nice campfire. The playhouse and trampoline were a great success. Even bedrooms were just fine, nice shower in one of the rooms. Sauna and whirlpool also used, delicious! In terms of security we have missed a gate at the stairs outside, efforts were made to the owner said. The house is very recommendable for a large family but also for groups of friends. The lie is a stone's throw from a green area. Excellent price-quality ratio (hopefully it will stay that way). Real Ardennes atmosphere. In addition to nothing but praise a few small points- The interior is somewhat of a cross between a cozy, old stone house, with a few modern, somewhat cold and darkly decorated rooms. We thought it was funny, but it was nice weather and we did not spend time in the separate living room. If you're an ant-fucker (and you're so young, what do you think that says a lot in reviews!), You have to look at airbnb or something like houses with a perfect decor. - In other reviews is already written about the church bells next to the house. The house is spacious, has a beautiful garden with trampoline and play tower, and is very beautiful at the end of a small village, you are directly in the fields and forests. We went with two families (and 5 children in total) a week to la campanelle to explore the region from this small hamlet of Manhay. For our annual autumn outing went with friends who also have children, to Odeigne. It is nice countryside and is very quiet. With a few steps from the house you walk through the meadows of the rugged woods. The area is nice and hilly. But do just fine for our youngest kids (3). The main trail leads to a beautiful stream. After walking we stop often a nice campfire in the garden. The owner explains there specifically for timber ready. While children were playing on the trampoline and slide we baked pizza 's and cote de boeuf in the wood oven on the patio. Adjacent to the garden is a games room with a fireplace. Here we could chill out when it was colder. Al the oldies were more often in the kitchen, where we have the most delicious dishes cooked with Belgian ingredients (supermarket 15 minutes easy drive). All were also quite a few cartons of wine soldier created with again a fireplace in the kitchen. The kids swam with his three generous in the super large tub with bubbles and leddisco. This house met the expectations in all ways. Only minus point is that the terrace is a bit small for 10 people and its always in the shade.

Some garden-chairs would be a very nice addition to sit on the grass.

Because of the many stairs I would not recommend this house to families with children or old people. Also the entree from the terrace to the hous needs handrailing DESPERATELY for safety. In general it can be said that handrailing for stairs needs an upgrade.

A beautiful village for walking. The accommodation was TOP! We were six adults and three children. Upstairs 4 bedrooms, a pity that one bedroom had no outside window. After a long day of mountain biking, laser tag, hiking and exploring the area, it was wonderful to settle down, warm up by the fire and enjoy delicious homemade pizzas, while enjoying a delicious local beer. The location is somewhat different because the church and its cemetery are right next to the house. With nice weather that barely noticeable but with some darker or rainy weather the little children found it a bit scary. Great tour by the friendly policeman and there was an alert ready for the welcome event. Beautiful, spacious and well furnished ardense holiday home where we experienced a relaxing time with our family (6 adults, 2 children + the dog). The hot tub and infrared cabin are an added value, we have all used it all with pleasure. It was a pleasant stay in the large garden and adjacent forest. For the children there is a large trampoline (but without net) and a nice swing with slide. The weather was good for us, so we had the chance to cook around the fire scale on November 1st and also have delicious home-made pizzas in the pizza oven.
