Upon arrival, the cottage was in a beautiful setting. We had to contact the landlord by phone, who casually told us that the door was open and the key was in it. When we opened that same door, a musty smell hit us. Upon looking around the cottage, everything was dirty and filthy. Basic hygiene was not up to standard, just like the fencing for pets. We had booked and paid for 3 days, but only took a walk with the dogs and left the same day. It is a pure shame that this is still being rented out. When filing a complaint with Belvilla, you only receive an email back stating that they have blocked your number. This was the first and last time we will book anything through this site. Hello, the stay went well. However, we find that the rental amount does not correspond to the quality provided. No one to welcome us and give us information, just a note saying that the cottage is open. No hot water at the kitchen sink, the aerator of the bathroom faucet is missing, if you turn it on a bit too hard, you get splashed thoroughly. It took us 15 minutes to get the TV on the right channel, no manual... At the end of the stay, we looked in the electrical panel and discovered a tripped circuit breaker, which is the one linked to the small boiler in the kitchen; once again, nothing indicated what to do. We reset it, but it didn't hold. We heated water for the dishes in the electric kettle, the base of which is partially melted. Other than that, the setting is beautiful, and the region is superb.

The photo on the accommodation ticket belonged to a lodging that we could not use. The kitchen is far too small and showed several defects: outlets that did not work, the extractor hood was glued together, lights were filled with kitchen paper (so they didn't work either),... In the living room, the sofa was very dirty, one cushion was even soaking wet, the electrical cabinet was not closed, and the fuses are no longer compliant with the law. Electrical wires are practically exposed on the floor. The garden chairs were very dirty, and on the accompanying cushions, we found clumps of cat hair (from the house cats) and not just a few hairs. The pets disturbed us multiple times. The cushions on the beds were definitely not hygienic and of various types. Sorry for this list, but I find this accommodation unworthy of being rented out. We even considered leaving and looking for another place to stay.

What a little paradise. The peace, the quiet, the beautiful green garden, a babbling stream, and lots of birds. We really enjoyed this place, we only sat outside because it was very warm, but it was lovely under the trees. The cottage itself was fine, although some furniture could be updated. But it was clean and very complete!

The stairs are BOTH very steep. Little (good) lighting. There was no toilet paper, we were not told that we needed to bring that, nor dishwasher tablets. We didn't even know there was a dishwasher. There was only 1 tea towel, no kitchen towel. Functioning TV? It was hard to find! Furthermore, a cozy/nice little house in a beautiful area.

A beautiful environment. Spotted a deer from the cottage. Close to a large forest where you can only hear the birds. A cozy cottage but not optimally clean and quite a scary steep staircase to the sleeping quarters. You really have to be careful when going up the stairs with a suitcase. The hot water tap in the kitchen didn't work and a heater in the room fell over when a curtain was closed. That was really shocking. A nice little terrace and beautiful garden by the house, but the privacy leaves much to be desired. We had to share the garden with the neighbor across the street, the owner's son, his little dog (a nice animal by the way), and a neighbor on the left.

When we arrived at our rented house, it turned out that it had not been cleaned. There was dirt on the floor, dog hair on the TV cabinet and a long hair in the sink. Furthermore, extra costs were charged on site for our dogs that were not mentioned on the site and there was no reception while the site promised wifi. After contacting them, they would immediately contact the landlord and call us back. There we were, on the side of a forest where we had driven to and finally found reception. We waited there for an hour for the phone call. We could not return to the house because we had no reception there. After waiting for 2 hours, I called back myself. Then I was told that the offices were closed and that we had to try again the next day. (This was the emergency service!) Then we finally decided to return home, since the situation had not been resolved. I had to call back myself the next day, where I was told that they had not yet received a response from the landlord. I called every day of the week for an update because calling back myself after multiple promises was apparently too difficult. In the end we did not get our money back. The landlord refused this, he did not think it was sufficient reason to cancel! When I rent a house I expect it to be cleaned, I think that is no more than normal! Furthermore, I would definitely like to be notified of any additional costs charged. Worst holiday experience ever. I would not recommend Belvilla to anyone. If you would like to rent a house with dogs allowed, I would like to refer you to dogsincluded.

The area where the house is located is beautiful. The house itself is small and is divided into 2, there are people living next to and in the house. We found the privacy less because people walked past the kitchen to the house. The TV did not work, and no hot water in the kitchen, this was reported but not resolved. Also, the living room was not really cleaned properly. The owner does not respond to email and WhatsApp messages. Nice experience but we found the price too high for what it was.

During my stay, I explored nearby Logne Castle ruins and found it fascinating. The area felt safe and had plenty of activities that suited me well as a solo traveler.

The house had been closed for a very long time exactly and was not ventilated or heated when we arrived. Dusty and musty. The couch and blanket were still full of dog hairs from the previous tenants. Nevertheless, very beautiful and well located, too bad but the overall hygiene could be much better.

A nice cozy little house. Everything you need is present. Not cold despite the severe frost (central heating and fireplace available) it is centrally located for several attractions. Maybe go there again next year.

A nice and cute house where you can spend the night with 4 people. Everything is just old and and sometimes in a bad state of repair. Now that is usually not so bad, but unfortunately it is actually not really clean. We only washed cutlery and plates before use, and there are stains in the sofa and even the curtains. The dining table and chairs simply need to be replaced and are actually not satisfactory. Furthermore, the location is great, you can park well and there is plenty of beautiful nature in the area for walking. It is also nice that the house can be warmed up quickly. Not unimportant in the fall and winter. I myself will not book this house again if it does not get the attention of the owner that it needs.

It had rained a lot. The cottage was dark and damp. We had our dog with us. The cottage was in the middle of the woods, but there were hardly any hiking opportunities. Across the road was a steep path into the woods. the only step into the woods. Because of the rain, the water ran down the path like a stream. That later became better. No walking routes in the area

We have a long Easter weekend enjoyed this fantastic cozy and cozy cottage! It is a detached stone house with a large open garden. So have spent 4 days inside and outside only fires fires with omze son of 8. Very privacy of the sweet hostess gektegen and she even came on with sunchairs as soon as the sun began to shine. We are coming back. Small but very cozy! Thanks and love.

Lovely place. The cottage is in a very quiet area and that was exactly what we were looking for. We were kindly received. When we found out that the hot water in the bathroom did not work, something that of course can always happen, it was taken immediately and a mechanic stood an hour later on the sidewalk. There is not much to do in the village itself, but there are plenty of possibilities in the area. To relax, the house itself has plenty of space and nature. The cottage is right next to that of the owner but the surrounding grounds are so big that you can choose where you are, so you do not have to see each other if you do not want to.

Beautiful setting, great reception. Easy to find and good parking. The cottage is special and is beautiful. The owner's cottage is right next door. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The decor is very cozy but would earn an update. Everything is a bit old now. The fireplace is fantastic, but the boiler does not make up for the same chimney. The bathroom is old but the shower is delicious. Everything is so small. Inside food with more than 2 people has been a bit of a deal. The steep stairs do not enter socks! The mattress of the large bed must be replaced as well as the pillows. The beds in the attic are a bit old. Staying with children under 3 is not convenient.

We had a nice weekend at the cottage. Beautiful fireplace that we used a lot. However, the cottage is small. two people it is full. There is a second bedroom upstairs, the master bedroom (both reachable on narrow steep stairs) but you go through each bedroom. Children under 8 years old are those reasonable steps link. The mattresses are allowed to be replaced once they have potholes. The description says that there is wifi but it only works outside the cottage. Wifi is common with the owner in the house. The owner has taken an extra device but it was not functioning fully. The cottage is also quite dark. Few windows. Facilities are also good. You can into the woods from your cottage. The setting is lovely. Also nice little villages and towns in the area.

Beautiful surroundings with a forest nearby to walk our two dogs.

Although dogs are allowed, it was not mentioned that there were also two goats running free and a house cat, which our 1-year-old adolescent dog went completely wild about, because the terrain is not fenced we could not let them go.

The owner's son apparently lives right next to the holiday home (the front door is directly opposite) and also a friend of his in the holiday home, in a separate living area where the stairs go up, this person was traveling.

We found this out upon arrival because we had spoken to the son when he came home from work in the evening, he was friendly, before that there was no personal reception, only a paper on the window from Mrs. Dubois, that the gîte is open with the key on the inside.

The house was pleasant, clean and tidy.
It is wonderful to stay in the garden, we were allowed to be everywhere, we had privacy because the son's terrace is located on the other side of the other house. We didn't let it bother us and made our plan, but we soon discovered that the pots, cupboards, etc. were simply filthy. A cupboard still full of mold, it was really gone. The bath mat with stains, an underlay with burn marks, microwave with spaghetti remains.

Anyway. Twas about it. The house is really beautifully situated, and luxury is not necessary for us, so we made the best of it.
The reception was really bad, never experienced that before. Hygiene terrible, but .. the charm of the house and the snow made it a special experience.

It is a nice authentic house with a lot of potential. Nevertheless, the interieur really needs an upgrade. It also wasn't really clean. But we made the best out of it, because the surroundings are beautiful. From the house you can make beautiful hikes and by car there are many nice villages nearby.

The stairs to the top are a bit treacherous and the bed was a bit on the tight side for someone of 1.90 mtr, but of good quality. All amenities were there and even some kids on site. A beautiful environment. From the cottage, a deer spotted. Close to a large forest where you only hear the birds. A cozy cottage but not optimally clean and quite a scary steep staircase to the sleeping quarters. Really watch out when you enter the stairs with a suitcase. The hot water tap in the kitchen didn't work and a heater in the room fell over when a curtain was closed. That was really shocking. A nice terrace and beautiful garden by the house, but privacy leaves much to be desired. We had to share the garden with the neighbor across the street, the son of the owner, his little dog (a nice creature by the way), and a neighbor on the left.

When we arrived at our rented house, it turned out that it had not been cleaned. There was dirt on the floor, dog hair on the TV cabinet and a long hair in the sink. Furthermore, extra costs were charged on site for our dogs that were not mentioned on the site and there was no reception while the site promised wifi. After contacting them, they would immediately contact the landlord and call us back. There we were, on the side of a forest where we had driven to and finally found reception. We waited there for an hour for the phone call. We could not return to the house because we had no reception there. After waiting for 2 hours, I called back myself. Then I was told that the offices were closed and that we had to try again the next day. (This was the emergency service!) Then we finally decided to return home, since the situation had not been resolved. I had to call back myself the next day, where I was told that they had not yet received a response from the landlord. I called every day of the week for an update because calling back myself after multiple promises was apparently too difficult. In the end we did not get our money back. The landlord refused this, he did not think it was sufficient reason to cancel! When I rent a house I expect it to be cleaned, I think that is no more than normal! Furthermore, I would definitely like to be notified of any additional costs charged. Worst holiday experience ever. I would not recommend Belvilla to anyone. If you would like to rent a house with dogs allowed, I would like to refer you to dogsincluded.

The area where the house is located is beautiful. The house itself is small and is divided into 2, there are people living next to and in the house. We found the privacy less because people walked past the kitchen to the house. The TV did not work, and no hot water in the kitchen, this was reported but not resolved. We found this out upon arrival because we had spoken to the son when he came home from work in the evening, he was friendly, before that there was no personal reception, only a paper on the window from Mrs. Dubois, that the gîte is open with the key on the inside.

A nice and cute house where you can spend the night with 4 people. Everything is just old and and sometimes in a bad state of repair. Now that is usually not so bad, but unfortunately it is actually not really clean. We only washed cutlery and plates before use, and there are stains in the sofa and even the curtains. The dining table and chairs simply need to be replaced and are actually not satisfactory. Furthermore, the location is great, you can park well and there is plenty of beautiful nature in the area for walking. It is also nice that the house can be warmed up quickly. Not unimportant in the fall and winter. I myself will not book this house again if it does not get the attention of the owner that it needs.

Lovely place. The cottage is in a very quiet area and that was exactly what we were looking for. We were kindly received. When we found out that the hot water in the bathroom did not work, something that of course can always happen, it was taken immediately and a mechanic stood an hour later on the sidewalk. There is not much to do in the village itself, but there are plenty of possibilities in the area. To relax, the house itself has plenty of space and nature. The cottage is right next to that of the owner but the surrounding grounds are so big that you can choose where you are, so you do not have to see each other if you do not want to.

The decor is very cozy but would earn an update. Everything is a bit old now. The fireplace is fantastic, but the boiler does not make up for the same chimney. The bathroom is old but the shower is delicious. Everything is so small. Inside food with more than 2 people has been a bit of a deal. The steep stairs do not enter socks! The mattress of the large bed must be replaced as well as the pillows. The beds in the attic are a bit old. Staying with children under 3 is not convenient.

There is a second bedroom upstairs, the master bedroom (both reachable on narrow steep stairs) but you go through each bedroom. Children under 8 years old are those reasonable steps link. The mattresses are allowed to be replaced once they have potholes. The description says that there is wifi but it only works outside the cottage. Wifi is common with the owner in the house. The owner has taken an extra device but it was not functioning fully. The cottage is also quite dark. Few windows. Facilities are also good. You can into the woods from your cottage. The setting is lovely. Also nice little villages and towns in the area.

A nice and cute house where you can spend the night with 4 people. Everything is just old and and sometimes in a bad state of repair. Now that is usually not so bad, but unfortunately it is actually not really clean. We only washed cutlery and plates before use, and there are stains in the sofa and even the curtains. The dining table and chairs simply need to be replaced and are actually not satisfactory. Furthermore, the location is great, you can park well and there is plenty of beautiful nature in the area for walking. It is also nice that the house can be warmed up quickly. Not unimportant in the fall and winter. I myself will not book this house again if it does not get the attention of the owner that it needs.

It had rained a lot. The cottage was dark and damp. We had our dog with us. The cottage was in the middle of the woods, but there were hardly any hiking opportunities. Across the road was a steep path into the woods. the only step into the woods. Because of the rain, the water ran down the path like a stream. That later became better. No walking routes in the area

We have a long Easter weekend enjoyed this fantastic cozy and cozy cottage! It is a detached stone house with a large open garden. So have spent 4 days inside and outside only fires fires with omze son of 8. Very privacy of the sweet hostess gektegen and she even came on with sunchairs as soon as the sun began to shine. Lovely place. The cottage is in a very quiet area and that was exactly what we were looking for. We were kindly received. When we found out that the hot water in the bathroom did not work, something that of course can always happen, it was taken immediately and a mechanic stood an hour later on the sidewalk. There is not much to do in the village itself, but there are plenty of possibilities in the area. To relax, the house itself has plenty of space and nature. The cottage is right next to that of the owner but the surrounding grounds are so big that you can choose where you are, so you do not have to see each other if you do not want to.

The decor is very cozy but would earn an update. Everything is a bit old now. The fireplace is fantastic, but the boiler does not make up for the same chimney. The bathroom is old but the shower is delicious. Everything is so small. Inside food with more than 2 people has been a bit of a deal. The steep stairs do not enter socks! The mattress of the large bed must be replaced as well as the pillows. The beds in the attic are a bit old. Staying with children under 3 is not convenient.

Nice place right on the forest with beautiful hiking trails. It is fine for 2 people. I wouldn't do much more. The stairs to the top are a bit treacherous and the bed was a bit on the tight side for someone of 1.90 mtr, but of good quality. All amenities were there and even some kids on site. Definitely a place to recommend if you are not very spoiled for luxury.
