Nice place in the middle of nowhere. Very sympathetic hostess, who lives in the cottage next door. Ping pong table and large BBQ can be used without any problems from the shared garage, where you can also rent a quad. The interior of the house is basic but sufficient. Beautiful welcome gift was ready on arrival. It is a very spacious house, enough space to sit or sleep with 8 people. All necessary utensils were present. We have been 4 days in October with seven people and two dogs in Lesternid. The house was hugely spacious and clean, the furniture of high quality. With two spacious bathrooms and three toilets there was no problem with privacy. Everything worked perfectly. The garden and terrace are exceptionally beautiful, so a fantastic view you rarely find. No noise, no traffic. The horse at the end of the garden is very tame and waiting for his sandwich 'the morning to the fence. We were here 3rd week in July 2013, during the heat wave; the property will stay with us through the tranquility and views of the hills and weeding with cows, horses and donkeys. Village itself has nothing to offer, but in the vicinity are many attractions. Nice cycled on the mountain bike trails of Nassogne. On arrival there were four Trappist beers ready. Of the owner we were allowed to ride on the quad make the kids thought that was great.

We have had a wonderful week at this comfortable house. The weather was beautiful and we even sat outside in the sun. (February) "nice evening the fireplace and play a game. The kitchen was completely full so every evening a delicious meal on the table! The view is fantastic and our dog could really get along with the horse and two donkeys. Stroll from home down to Lomme. Purchasing on Sun 'n 10 minutes. Attraction is the castle Laveaux St. Anne and the natural caves of Han, but also the market on Monday morning in Marche is worth. We have 4 children and our dog enjoyed the house and its surroundings. Obviously it was fun for the kids the 2 donkeys and horses, but they did not look so well cared for. Please note the fence that is tense, because one of our kids, she still accidentally touched while stroking the animals. Maybe the owner a swing / climbing frame can place because the garden is large enough that possibly for the kids to place. We were well received, got a tour of the house with text and explanation. There were some Belgian beers ready for us.The accommodation is very comfortable and complete. Only downside we found 1 of the 2 beds, very narrow and short! The surroundings are fantastic, beautiful nature. The view from the house and terrace is really amazing! Very warm welcome from the owners. The house is on the edge of the village on a quiet road. Especially in the evening it is very quiet. There are various hiking, mountain biking and cycling routes in the area. For a supermarket (not a neighborhood store) it is a short drive (10 km). The house is nice and spacious with large rooms, a large garden and is in a very beautiful setting. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are great. A must for nature lovers.

We have 4 children and our dog enjoyed the house and its surroundings. Obviously it was fun for the kids the 2 donkeys and horses, but they did not look so well cared for. Please note the fence that is tense, because one of our kids, she still accidentally touched while stroking the animals. As previous guests have written, there were indeed a bicycle and scooters which is very nice for the kids. Maybe the owner a swing / climbing frame can place because the garden is large enough that possibly for the kids to place. If we want to go back to the Ardennes, we will undoubtedly this house books.

Lesternid is a beautiful house and is situated in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The house is comfortable, well insulated and equipped with a large inventory. The administrator (speaks English) is helpful and the owners (the owner speaks Dutch) alongside Lesternid owning their own holiday, where they usually stay on weekends and holidays, are sympathiek.In the surroundings are beautiful walks marked, plotted. A map showing the routes are indicated (eg VVV Rochefort) is very useful and really indispensable. Lesterny is a good base for many excursions. Lesternid is definitely a home to which many return.

Beautiful house in a beautiful place. The house is fully equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, sufficient wasdroogmogelijkheden) and well maintained. The living room is spacious and cozy and the house has a dining room between living room and kitchen. All right. In the vicinity is Rocheville with nice shops and a large supermarket. We were here 3rd week in July 2013, during the heat wave; the property will stay with us through the tranquility and views of the hills and weeding with cows, horses and donkeys. Village itself has nothing to offer, but in the vicinity are many attractions. Nice cycled on the mountain bike trails of Nassogne. On arrival there were four Trappist beers ready. Of the owner we were allowed to ride on the quad make the kids thought that was great.

Drachten.wist not Belgium so beautiful can point.The house was just fine, just thought it was unfortunate that there was electric fence behind the house (for the pasture with horses and donkeys) because our boy here often walked a half to go to view! critters Here we have a lot of nuisance had, especially since we often sat outside because the garden lent itself as well as for with n nice view! Furthermore, I can highly recommend omdit rent house because you feel like a king in so n beautiful environment where this house is standing! There is plenty to do, something for everyone!! But stay will find that the house is not suitable for very young children.

We have had a wonderful week at this comfortable house. The weather was beautiful and we even sat outside in the sun. (February) "nice evening the fireplace and play a game. The kitchen was completely full so every evening a delicious meal on the table! The view is fantastic and our dog could really get along with the horse and two donkeys. Stroll from home down to Lomme. Purchasing on Sun 'n 10 minutes. Attraction is the castle Laveaux St. Anne and the natural caves of Han, but also the market on Monday morning in Marche is worth. But just sit on the couch and enjoy the view is also delicious, especially with a tasty local beer by the owner for us was put ready. A must!

We have been 4 days in October with seven people and two dogs in Lesternid. The house was hugely spacious and clean, the furniture of high quality. With two spacious bathrooms and three toilets there was no problem with privacy. Everything worked perfectly. The garden and terrace are exceptionally beautiful, so a fantastic view you rarely find. No noise, no traffic. The horse at the end of the garden is very tame and waiting for his sandwich 'the morning to the fence.
