The studio is located on a quiet estate. It is a great place to stay with two people. Very nice that we bring our dogs. If all studios are occupied, there is little privacy.We are well received by the administrator.He has familiarized us in the house and told what we can walk with the honden.De environment is beautiful for hiking and the nearby Durbuy is a cozy town.

On arrival the house was not heated (freezing) We have had a couple of days needed to i.v.m cottage was cozy and warm with cold walls and meubels.De accommodation itself was prima.De manager barely spoke Dutch, so there was little explanation. However, we kindly helped by the owners, who also present waren.Omgeving is beautiful! We could walk endlessly. Charming towns nearby, overall worth.

In April 2004 we were spending a week in the Ardennes. We were welcomed like old friends in friendly Flemish (Walloon fun with accent) by the administrator. The estate was secluded and well cared for, the cottage simple but cozy. The whole week we were cozy and friendly tips presents (local beer, a serving of cheese, travel, hiking and buying tips) offered by the excellent administrator. The gastronomy in Durbuy was excellent. Also the weather was happy. After five days of hiking in the beautiful and interesting area (castles, standing stones, the Ourthe, forests) and 2 days golf on two courses in the immediate vicinity (Durbuy Mean) we were rested back home. We have recently (weekend 07/11/03 till 11/11/03) with special guest was Johan Brees (Administrator) Domaine de L 'Ecureuil. Extremely hospitable and refined environment. SURE recommended for people with a pet. Great environment (150 ha private property) with long driveway where you can walk. to believe Very clear routes available and indeed located on a 200m from the Ourthe. (Boots & sturdy walking shoes are recommended). Owners are very friendly Dutch family who occasionally still get greetings in the guesthouse, the rest is the rest trump ... Very well maintained 2 to 4-person studio 's juxtaposed with total privacy.Parkeerplaats available for deur.Voor persons with allergies to animals, there is a separate studio provided adjacent to the main residence of the eigenaars.Johan provides the rolls every morning and asked if mss against a summer garden party or barbeque (he was able to tell us) ... Animal lover or not, this is the ideal place to "on peace "to komen.Een must for every nature lover who wants no streets oversteken.Groetjes, John, Jessica & Diogee ...

In augustus 2003 hebben wij gelogeerd in studio 2 (beneden verdieping) van "Domaine de l'Ecureuil". Dit is ons zeer goed bevallen, het is niet groot en luxe maar wel zuiver en alles is aanwezig. Mocht je iets nodig hebben kun je altijd bij de congierge Johan terecht. Enige min puntje: het is wat gehorig, je kunt de gasten van de boven verdieping horen lopen. Er is ook genoeg in de omgeving te doen en vooral voor kinderen is het erg leuk. Het verblijf bevindt zich op loop afstand van de rivier de Ourthe waar je verkoeling en vermaak vindt. Durbuy is een klein stadje maar erg toeristisch, veel restaurants en activiteiten als klimmen, kajakken,mountenbiken, raften,speleologie,diverse hindernissen parcours ... enz.

I had a great midweek domaine l "Ecureuil and my dogs have had the time of their lives. Halftime is beneficial and the cottage was exactly what I was looking for. I went with a friend to this apartment come between the holidays of nature to enjoy. It is a nice little house on a very nice domain.

In early May 2011, we have been here and we enjoyed delicious! Rest is absolutely available. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The manager speaks only French, but is also very friendly and helpful.The house (studio) is nicely furnished and fully lived up to our verwachtingen.We will surely remember!

I went with a friend to this apartment come between the holidays of nature to enjoy. This was really a very nice trip, everything was under a snow layer of 30 cm, which is the natural environment gave lots of atmosphere.
