Pleasant cottage. You were kindly received and informed. As welcome gift there were 4 bottles of a local local beer. Outside washing machine and dryer was everything there but you know that in advance. Beds were a bit on the small side especially if you are a little longer and a firmer mattress was also allowed. We have been going to this fantastic Gite for a while now. Beautifully located, within walking distance of the forest. There are many lovely walks in the area. Our two dogs are also welcome (2 Rottweilers). Within walking distance, there is a Delhaize, a bakery, and a butcher. The house itself is super clean and equipped with all the necessary appliances for a great vacation. The owners are very friendly and always ready to help with the slightest problem.

La Pieride is a cozy house where we went for the 2nd time and felt for the 2nd time familiar and welcome. Our family had a wonderful stay at the Modern Holiday Home in Lavacherie! The garden was a perfect playground for the kids while we enjoyed our coffee on the terrace. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and we loved exploring the nearby nature park of the two Ourthes. Can't wait to come back!

We are a family of 6, 2 kids one of 2 and one is 10, the grandpa and grandma and us the parents. The house is super clean and the homeowners is very friendly, even we dont speek French its a little harder to understand, but inside there is some Dutch to read. Its a nice area and some people say the beds are a little harder, but for is they were fine to sleep.

Third stay at the gîte for our family and still happy. At all levels. The welcome of the owners, the space, the equipment of the cottage and its cleanliness, the magnificent village of Lavacherie and its hiking possibilities. The cottage is ideally located. We arrived by train and bus, and were able to manage without car for shopping.

We had to wait a while, were still done with the cleaning. But that paid off !! A super clean house with a beautiful garden. The area is just beautiful, beautiful nature with beautiful views. There was a big disadvantage, we found, the mattresses were almost made of concrete so hard that we even decided to buy an air mattress that I slept on because of (rheumatism and arthrosis) but also the other two guys were in pain all over.

Really had a fantastic weekend with my 4 dogs (two Border Collies and two Czechoslovakian wolf dogs)! There are several beautiful hiking trails nearby. Very friendly owners! Furthermore, the cottage very cozy! (Only the bed is indeed very hard). The garden is well fenced, very fine. I also think it's a plus that to ventilate the house is good! I'm glad we were able to take pleasure with four rascals!

Long hot weekend in the Ardennes spent with our dogs. Who have enjoyed the garden. The house was ok, spacious enough but very noisy upstairs downstairs. You are idd all awake when a person goes to the toilet. We were out most of the time but with the two of us, and it is doing fine. Lovely shower anyway! Well I found annoying that there are so many loose recover costs of water, electricity, heating, cleaning. All together in a tropical weekend where we were buten almost only, still as "a fifty euro extra. Village is fine, good supermarket within walking distance. Many walks nearby, newly turned to see. Unfortunately, the signs many private forest areas so you may still have whole sections running along the road. We have been going to this fantastic Gite for a while now. Beautifully located, within walking distance of the forest. Quite a few nice walks in the area. Our two dogs are also welcome (2 Rottweilers). Within walking distance, there is a Delhaize, a bakery, and a butcher. The house itself is super clean and equipped with all the necessary appliances for a nice holiday. The owners are very friendly and are always ready to help at the slightest problem.

Too bad about the bad weather, but it certainly did not make our stay any less enjoyable. We still went for a walk between the showers with our four-legged friend. What a charming retreat! The Modern Holiday House in Lavacherie was everything we expected and more. The house is spacious, with a lovely enclosed garden where our children played safely while we enjoyed a glass of wine on the terrace. Our dog Kitty have the vacation of her life! And we indeed. Without belt playing in the woods and bathe in the Ourthe and it suited her very well. For us were the visits to include the book village of Redu, Marche en and the Basilica of Saint Hubert a special experience. This lesser known tourist attractions are very worthwhile. La Pieride, the cottage of fam Renauld we have three teenagers and two German shepherds spent a wonderful week. In the house we felt right at home, the garden was well fenced so the dogs could play safely outside, there was enough space in the living room for two benches for the night. The Dehaeze supermarket was nearby, we had every morning fresh broodjes.Het view from the lounge was nice and relaxing. The canoe trips such as sailing in La Roche, caves in Hotton, chateau at La Roche and various walks in the immediate vicinity of the cottage were fine. We have had our good sense in the first week of June. Beautiful weather and a comfortable vacation home La Pieride. All present, even good sleeping area and a view from the terrace .... beautiful. It was a very nice house, simply furnished, but everything you need is there. The garden behind it is delicious. My sister and I and our children have had a wonderful week. The weather was beautiful and Mr. and Mrs. Renault were very friendly and zorgzaam.Ja it was a wonderful holiday.

La Pieride is a cozy house where we went for the 2nd time and felt for the 2nd time familiar and welcome.
