The infrared sauna was a nice surprise after a long hike.

Upon arrival, pleasantly surprised with a nice welcome gift. The jacuzzi was not clean and very outdated. Headrests were loose, and some water jets were loose in the jacuzzi. In some photos, a much larger jacuzzi is visible instead of a 4-person one. The house is for a maximum of 7 people, and then there is a jacuzzi where you can't even fit four people in. It was disappointing. The light in the game room did not work, so we could not use the foosball or pool table. The kitchen equipment is very outdated. Pans where the non-stick coating is damaged and blackened. I won't fry eggs in these. The overall condition of the house is outdated. What we paid was disappointing. Photos are misleading.

The location is beautiful and the cottage is good. It's just not pleasant to sleep in the bedroom in the basement, as there are no windows and no fresh air. Everything else is perfectly fine.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a good time. However, we are not entirely satisfied with cleanliness, maintenance, and we have questions about honesty. We had quite a few problems with communication regarding the booking. The description stated that there was an optional package for the final cleaning. They charged 355.00€ for this!! Almost the same amount as the stay itself. Later it turned out that they did not offer this as optional after all, but suddenly spoke about mandatory additional costs. After a lot of hassle and poor communication, they ultimately gave a discount on the final cleaning fee. But still an extra €175.00. For a weekend stay, I find this an incredibly high amount. Under normal circumstances, we talk about final cleaning between €70-90. We have a villa by the coast ourselves, and this is the normal price to ask. We ultimately agree to the discount, as we would not have to book another weekend at the last minute and because they also threatened that if we canceled, they would not refund anything. (Our stay already cost us €500) Upon arrival at the house, it did not seem clean at all. There were cobwebs everywhere, especially above the beds and on the lamps, there was a lot of candy and food scraps under the sofa in the living room, and everything was sticky on the floor. The lower floor smelled incredibly musty from moisture. That's where you have to sleep... Several lights inside the house didn't work. The jacuzzi was full of sand. The house is nice, but outdated and maintenance is not taken seriously. There were prices hanging on the wall from several years ago for 'top stay'. I can believe that was the case once, but if it wants to remain that way, the house really needs to be taken care of and maintenance must be done properly every time. We found it far above its price (as accommodation), and we genuinely wonder where the amount for the final cleaning goes when the house looks like this, and it was not clean at all. Disappointing experience. I would not book it again.

Our stay at Jacuzzi Retreat was unfortunately not a 5-star experience. Upon arrival on Friday evening, we noticed that the heating in one of the bedrooms was not working. We contacted the point of contact by phone but could not reach them, and we were not called back. Since the outdoor temperatures were well below freezing, it was very uncomfortable in the room. There was also no extra duvet provided, and the duvets that were there were clearly for summer temperatures. On Sunday, the contact person came on site; she indicated that the heating has been broken for some time. This was not communicated in advance. The hallway and the toilet were also very cold and not heatable. There is clearly mold present in the bathroom, which you can smell upon arrival. There is an unpleasant odor on the ground floor. The third bedroom has no windows, so you cannot ventilate it. The small lights in the infrared sauna do not work. The hairdryer downstairs started to smoke and smell immediately upon use. The kitchen is very cold; there is an electric heater provided, but we could not find a socket to use it. The advertisement did not make it clear that there would be additional costs. We contacted Belvilla, where it was made clear to us in no uncertain terms that the 'optional' costs of € 355 are mandatory. The website states that this package ensures 'a carefree stay' and covers services such as final cleaning, utility consumption, service support, and protection against minor damage or incidental costs during the stay. However, the invoice lists this as cleaning costs (€230) and bed linen (€125 for 3 beds!! ). Overall, a stay that we would not recommend given the high cost and the shortcomings. We will also not book through Belvilla in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There was enough space for seven people, the jacuzzi was wonderful, and the sauna in another room is ideal. This way, we could divide the use well. Additionally, we were able to entertain ourselves with the toys and enjoyed a delicious barbecue. It is not too far from attractions, which was ideal. All in all, we had a lovely long weekend!

The garden is not clean at all, everything is lying around on the terrace, not even swept. I did it for the owner. The jacuzzi is not clean either and too bleached. The entrance mats are dirty, and the dusting has not been done in the establishment. I find this very limited. I do not recommend this rental. The only downside is the calm environment and well-placed for nature lovers.

The cottage was beautifully situated, but was already a bit outdated. 1 of the fires did not work (which was not so handy with the cold), the wifi was very bad (they had mentioned this on arrival), the air hockey table that was in the photos was no longer there, there were not enough pellets for the stove and on arrival the house was not heated at all and it was therefore freezing cold in the house. Although it was a great trip, there are still some points for improvement at the house.

The cottage was nicely located, but it was quite outdated. One of the heaters didn't work (which wasn't very handy with the cold), the wifi was very poor (they did mention this upon arrival), the air hockey table that was shown in the pictures was no longer there, there weren't enough pellets for the stove, and upon arrival, the house was not heated at all and was therefore ice-cold. Although it was a great trip, there are still some issues to address with the house.

The house actually had everything you could wish for. The location is really fantastic, from the backyard you can walk to the beautiful Nisramont de Barrage in less than 20 minutes, great for strolling around with the dog. By car, all necessary facilities are actually a stone's throw away, such as restaurants, boulangeries, butcheries and supermarkets. When you come home to the house in the evening, there is room to relax, enjoy the sauna, then in the jacuzzi and your day is complete again. An absolute must. a side note; it is very humid in the house and certainly in the basement.

A pleasant welcome, with clear explanations about the house and the equipment. Also some explanation about the area, supermarkets and restaurants. In the beautiful house it lacks nothing. Everything is there to celebrate a wonderful holiday. Sitting in the jacuzzi every day, lit the bbq and made beautiful rides every day in the beautiful surroundings.

There will be a 200 cleaning fee. There was dust everywhere, dirt in the trash can from a previous tenant.
The dryer there is not working, nor is the heating in the upstairs bathroom. the freezer does not work, if you put something in it, such as coffee cakes, they are partially defrosted after 2 days. so you can throw everything in the trash.
Nothing can be ventilated downstairs, causing a musty smell that you can't get rid of. and then there is the wellness area.
When you use the washing machine there is a fishy smell on your clothes, a drying rack would also be useful.
You have to switch on the pallet heater at the back, but the remote control does not work, and it must also be left clean as normal (this was not done and an ash vacuum cleaner cannot be found as stated in the folder).
We were able to enjoy the jacuzzi and the surroundings.

House is ok, but needs some renovation. There were dead insects on the windowsills inside.
The jacuzzi was not turned on, so we had to wait a day before it was heated up. The infrared cabin was nice, but the floor felt like it could collapse at any moment and the music didn't work.
There was a play area for children, but this was a small plastic slide with a broken door.
No fly screen at the sliding window, so we could leave everything open, but then we had mosquitoes and flies inside in the evening
The people sleeping downstairs complained about the noise from the heating (from the jacuzzi?)
The downstairs toilet had to be opened with the door open, otherwise you wouldn't be able to sit comfortably
The freezer didn't work, our ice creams completely melted the day after they were put in it.

Great house with beautiful views and spacious living room. The kitchen is very well equipped, here you will find everything you need to cook well. The enclosed garden and jacuzzi (for 2 people) were also very pleasant. Our son also thought the slide was a nice addition! Furthermore, the house is in a good location for hiking or mountain biking in the area. There is still room in the garage to store your bicycles. House was clean on arrival :). Bathroom and toilet upstairs can not be locked for safety (works with key). We did not shower in the upstairs bathroom, because there is a not so fresh-looking wooden plate in the douchebak.In the house we noticed that it has been rented out for a long time, there were quite a few (minor) defects (eg broken lights, loose tap, pellet stove broken). Reported a number of things and indicated that it did not need to be solved immediately for us. Someone came to have a look, so it should have been made by now! We were very happy that we ended up with 2 less people, the room in the basement is a bit musty and almost no daylight ... All in all we had a pleasant week, but for this money you don't need a house in top condition to be expected! In any case, excellent value for money for us.

Nice and pleasant villa, all accommodation available. This was nicely decorated and also because we were there in December, it was decorated with Christmas lights. There is also a cozy room with a kicker, game table with discs, a darts board and a separate room with sauna. We arrived and we were kindly received and shown around. We immediately felt at home in the house. A good atmosphere, appearance and everything. A nice couch, full kitchen, bed, bath and kitchen linen are available. The garden was top notch and well fenced for the dog. And the garden was very private. My husband could enjoy cycling (cycling) in the area, a lot of climbing and descending, but he thought that was fantastic! We ran fast ourselves and we participated in a trail running event. We have a nice walk with the dog in the neighboring forests. A very positive experience for us.

A nice house in a beautiful setting. Due to some less good reviews lately, we were a bit hesitant in advance, especially with regard to hygiene. Based on that, we had contact with the owner prior to our departure. He was able to reassure us via email. We were therefore very happy to find that the house was clean and tidy on arrival.

The wooden plate in the shower upstairs is less, but otherwise we found the house fine and fully equipped. The basement smells a bit damp and musty, but the children slept well in the bedroom downstairs.

The kitchen has all the necessary utensils and there is a good washing machine and dryer.

We enjoyed the veranda, the garden, the bbq and especially the wonderful jacuzzi.

The surroundings and the garden of the house are beautiful. We had a lovely walk in the area and visited nice things. But unfortunately ... the hygiene and general condition of the house were so much worse than our visit 3 years ago; - beds were tightly made, but with dirty, worn-in bedding. The sleep stains (drool / toothpaste on the pillow), dander at the foot, hair and blood stains (on the pillow) were still on the bedding (we have the pictures of this!). The contact person from the cottage was clearly displeased when we called him and asked if the beds had been made and he couldn't do anything for us.. We washed and dried it ourselves on the first evening at 10 pm - The water in the outdoor hot tub already smelled dirty the first night. and chlorine values were not good. The house was everything we could wish for. Lots of air during the day. "Cozy lighting in the evening. A pellet stove as additional heating. Good beds. Beautiful spaces. The reception was downright unkind, the 3rd room was still locked after a phone call I received a catty answer that we were only 4 people, so that's why 2 cameras, but we were not 2 couples, so the adult man slept on the couch for a night until the next day the room was opened. We have rented a house through Belvilla more often, but this was by far the most complete and luxurious we have had until now. We were very kindly received by the owner of the property. On arrival the bbq was ready including half a bag of coal and the Belgian beers were cold so we immediately made use of it.Paar tips for the owners: there is some overdue maintenance that actually needs to be done (wooden plank driveway, side of the roof above the outdoor fireplace, wooden decking at the jacuzzi, painting). There is almost no 3G/4G/5G reception, but the WiFi only works in the 'basement' (so in the living room or in the garden there is virtually no WiFi reception. Can be solved by installing 1 or 2 WiFi repeaters or a sturdy router ). We couldn't turn on the TV ("no signal" was on the screen… but we didn't miss the TV). We stayed in Filly during the Carnival holidays. It was not easy again, but the possibilities in the house made a lot of good. After a grueling journey through the very unexpected snow the owners were waiting for us, even though we arrived much later than agreed. The fireplace and pellet stove were already on and the candles burning. After a short tour and explanation of all the luxuries such as Jacuzzi and sauna, could start our weekend in the very well-equipped house. Hospitable owners welcome us on our arrival. Short clear guided tour. Property has everything you can think of casserole dishes to gourmet set, DVD collection to Sauna. We were the 3rd this had rented this house, some things were never used and the stickers were still on. As you enter the house you feel right at home, so beautiful! What is nice is the many decorations in the house and feel totally not like a standard home, but more of a luxury villa. If you are interested in wellness, this is really a must. The Jacuzzi, sauna, rain showers, various possibilities to use wood, both inside and outside, more relaxed places, gourmet set, large stone bbq ect ect. Even a dishwasher, very nice! .. There is also downstairs in the garage an air hockey table and an electronic darts board. Also in the living room is a box div games. In short there is really thought of everything in this house. There is a nice little town nearby, called La Roche .. Go there certainly just go! Price \/ quality ratio is really just good!

Great location. Cottage is ok, but needs renovation. There were dead insects on the windowsills inside. The jacuzzi was not on, so we had to wait a day for it to warm up. The infrared sauna was nice, but the floor feels like it could collapse at any moment and the music didn't work. There was play equipment for children, but it was a small plastic slide with a broken door. There was no fly screen on the sliding window, so we could leave everything open, but then we had mosquitoes and flies inside in the evening. The people sleeping downstairs complained about the noise from the heater (of the jacuzzi?). The downstairs toilet had to be used with the door open, otherwise it was uncomfortable. The freezer didn't work, our ice creams were completely melted the day after we put them in. The rooms were good and the beds comfortable.

There will be a 200 cleaning fee. There was dust everywhere, dirt in the trash can from a previous tenant.
The dryer there is not working, nor is the heating in the upstairs bathroom. the freezer does not work, if you put something in it, such as coffee cakes, they are partially defrosted after 2 days. so you can throw everything in the trash.
Nothing can be ventilated downstairs, causing a musty smell that you can't get rid of. and then there is the wellness area.
When you use the washing machine there is a fishy smell on your clothes, a drying rack would also be useful.

Nice and pleasant villa, all accommodation available. This was nicely decorated and also because we were there in December, it was decorated with Christmas lights. A nice house in a beautiful setting. Due to some less good reviews lately, we were a bit hesitant in advance, especially with regard to hygiene. Based on that, we had contact with the owner prior to our departure. He was able to reassure us via email. We were therefore very happy to find that the house was clean and tidy on arrival.

The wooden plate in the shower upstairs is less, but otherwise we found the house fine and fully equipped. The basement smells a bit damp and musty, but the children slept well in the bedroom downstairs.

The kitchen has all the necessary utensils and there is a good washing machine and dryer.

We enjoyed the veranda, the garden, the bbq and especially the wonderful jacuzzi.

The surroundings and the garden of the house are beautiful. We had a lovely walk in the area and visited nice things. But unfortunately ... the hygiene and general condition of the house were so much worse than our visit 3 years ago; - beds were tightly made, but with dirty, worn-in bedding. The sleep stains (drool / toothpaste on the pillow), dander at the foot, hair and blood stains (on the pillow) were still on the bedding (we have the pictures of this!). The contact person from the cottage was clearly displeased when we called him and asked if the beds had been made and he couldn't do anything for us.. We washed and dried it ourselves on the first evening at 10 pm - The water in the outdoor hot tub already smelled dirty the first night. and chlorine values were not good. There was no chlorine in it according to the test strip and the pH was far too low. The foam that formed when bubbling was green / brown and did not smell fresh. We changed some water ourselves and hoped that we did not - There was a lens from the previous holidaymakers on the bedside table in the downstairs bedroom. There was a broken wine glass with traces of wine next to the bed. Also according to the contact person this could not be the case, because he had cleaned it for sure . - The B esteklade was full of dirty cutlery, with the leftovers still on the knives. There were also hairs and crumbs in the cutlery drawer of the previous holidaymakers. Not tasty. Then we haven't even mentioned the greasy lip prints on the glasses. We arrived and we were kindly received and shown around. We immediately felt at home in the house. A good atmosphere, appearance and everything. A nice couch, full kitchen, bed, bath and kitchen linen are available. The garden was top notch and well fenced for the dog. And the garden was very private. My husband could enjoy cycling (cycling) in the area, a lot of climbing and descending, but he thought that was fantastic! We ran fast ourselves and we participated in a trail running event. We have a nice walk with the dog in the neighboring forests. A very positive experience for us.
