Simple and yet everything you need. We were away for a lovely weekend with 4 friends and this was all we needed to have a nice weekend. Close to beautiful walks, MTB, canoeing, etc.

Had a great time. Beautiful large house. Super large garden. Not fenced. All necessary items in and around the house are there. Good parking space. Annie and Virginie (hopefully spelled correctly) daughter are super friendly and helpful. Plenty to see in the area and you are in Luxembourg in 20 minutes.

The reception was very hospitable. In the cottage, everything was present, even a cozy wood stove. We lacked nothing. In the garden (it looked like a little park), there was a seating area, lounge chairs, and a BBQ.

The owners were friendly and the large garden could be shared. The house is old and has retained its charm inside as well.

Absolutely enjoyed our time here! The fireplace created a great atmosphere in the evenings, and the outdoor terrace was perfect for enjoying the sun. Moreover, being close to local dining options was a big advantage.

Location is really great! Spacious garden and a fire pit with BBQ outside. Inside are spacious bedrooms. Everything is a bit outdated, but it was clean and everything worked. We actually thought it suited the house. All in all, we had a great time, slept well, and were able to enjoy a movie in the evening by streaming from the phone. We would love to come back and highly recommend it! 3 fishing friends from the Netherlands.

A charming place with a rustic atmosphere, the interior has a unique character, and the proximity to the Wildpark Achouffe made our trip even better. It was a little difficult to find at first, but once we did, it was worth it!

This cottage is a whole vibe, super cozy atmosphere with the fireplace and the whole garden space for relaxed gatherings, perfect for a group of 6, and the local restaurants are just a short walk away, 10/10 recommend for a weekend getaway.

charming spacious house, back in time (with a toilet outside downstairs). very atmospheric, cozy wood stove for cold evenings. lots of pans, plates and glassware and kitchen utensils. bedrooms very spacious and light, single beds are nice, twin beds (140 m) very hard mattresses. bathroom retro but fine. lovely spacious garden, with nice sun loungers, picnic table, drinks table, various games. Garden only accessible via front door, road runs right past it, dangerous with small children and / or dog. But the helpful Annie quickly made a temporary gate so that you can not walk onto the road from the front door. traffic does rush by quickly .... surroundings beautiful, Engreux is cozy and beautiful to walk from towards Ourthe. shopping 15 minutes drive in Bertogne.

Nice authentic 200-year-old farmhouse. Beautiful garden where you can sit and eat privately. The garden is not finished for a dog. The dog must stay on a leash in the garden. Furthermore, it's a quiet location where you will always need a car to see things and to get food. Advice: if you have the opportunity, bring as much as possible from home / Netherlands, because supermarkets are limited and very expensive. Furthermore, the roads, as is typical for Belgium, are terribly and incredibly bad. A thick insufficient score for the Belgian government. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and oven for example to bake pizza or sandwiches. Beds are relatively hard. Furthermore, it looked neat. The owner speaks French. There was virtually no Wifi, despite a code that was provided. Enjoyed the peace!

According to the host, the gite is 200 years old. You can see this in the style, construction and creaky floors. But it is certainly not disturbing. The cozy cottage offers a lot of coolness during the hottest days (32 and 36 degrees during your stay). Furthermore, everything necessary is present and they are super nice people. It is a spacious house with large bedrooms. There is little to complain about so far. We like to sit here and really don't have much to say about it.

We enjoyed the beautiful authentic house, the beautiful garden and the beautiful surroundings. We have our family with older children spent a long weekend. On arrival, after a brisk bike ride from Durbuy, we were warmly received, unforgettable. Our bike ride took longer than expected and we arrived without groceries. Annie gave us a richly filled basket. The result, a tasty home-cooked meal, perfect. Annie picked fresh herbs from the garden. Super sympa, it was so enjoyable, the gesture so warm. The house is old and charming. The environment is beautiful. You can walk straight into the forest and automatically reach the Ourthe. A swimming spot at 2 km, perfect on foot.We loved staying in this authentic house, not luxury, but a nice shower and a great meeting. Thanks Annie, you are great!

A cozy cottage with a wood fire, TV, DVD, radio, a beautiful, not enclosed garden, which unfortunately we could not enjoy enough because of the bad weather; four large bedrooms and one bathroom. Very friendly welcome and everything was in order; the kitchen is not the most modern, also no dishwasher, but there is everything you need in very usable clean equipment (ordinary coffee maker, coffee maker with pads, toaster, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, mixer, bbq utensils, ... of course also plenty of crockery, ...) Beautiful region and good base for beautiful walks. There is also a parking space at the cottage for 3 cars.

From Domaine Des Arts you can make beautiful hiking and mountain biking. Very quiet location but central to La Roche, Houffalize and Bastogne. Bummer heating tubes "were buzzing night despite turning off all heaters.

This old authentic house with thick walls in a beautiful garden with many seating areas is located in the fantastically quiet green area of "les deux Ourthe", a bit "au bout du monde" as the nearby campsite has also called itself. We were also welcome there to drink a regional beer after our walks. The house is equipped with beautiful old furniture, an old kitchen that has everything needed for people of this time, nice modern seats to sit back in the evening, good beds in spacious bedrooms that were wonderfully fresh despite the heat. Annie is a very attentive lady with colorful painting talent, which can be admired in the house.Yes, we would like to come back to this beautiful region.

Good and warm welcome and hospitality, both by the daughter and the mother. Spacious and clean rooms, dog-friendly accommodation, beautifully restored, everything was available to stay for a period. Pleasant warmth, cozy wood stove. Very good mattresses, spacious bathroom with shower. Nice and spacious garden. Many nice corners in the garden. According to the host, the gite is 200 years old. You can see this in the style, construction and creaky floors. But it is certainly not disturbing. The cozy cottage offers a lot of coolness during the hottest days (32 and 36 degrees during your stay). Furthermore, everything necessary is present and they are super nice people. It is a spacious house with large bedrooms. There is little to complain about so far. We like to sit here and really don't have much to say about it.

On arrival, after a brisk bike ride from Durbuy, we were warmly received, unforgettable. Our bike ride took longer than expected and we arrived without groceries. Annie gave us a richly filled basket. The result, a tasty home-cooked meal, perfect. Annie picked fresh herbs from the garden. Super sympa, it was so enjoyable, the gesture so warm. The house is old and charming. The environment is beautiful. You can walk straight into the forest and automatically reach the Ourthe. A swimming spot at 2 km, perfect on foot.We loved staying in this authentic house, not luxury, but a nice shower and a great meeting. Thanks Annie, you are great!

This old authentic house with thick walls in a beautiful garden with many seating areas is located in the fantastically quiet green area of "les deux Ourthe", a bit "au bout du monde" as the nearby campsite has also called itself. We were also welcome there to drink a regional beer after our walks. The house is equipped with beautiful old furniture, an old kitchen that has everything needed for people of this time, nice modern seats to sit back in the evening, good beds in spacious bedrooms that were wonderfully fresh despite the heat. Annie is a very attentive lady with colorful painting talent, which can be admired in the house.Yes, we would like to come back to this beautiful region.

We spent five days as a family at the Domaine des Arts in a real Ardennes atmosphere surrounded by nature. We were welcomed very warmly by the hosts who did everything possible to make us feel at home and spend a real moment of relaxation. It was very nice to pass the time in absolute calm, in the beautiful, very well-kept garden, playing pétanque or badminton, or sunbathing on the deckchairs contemplating nature. And in the evening, having a barbecue and having dinner at the exterior. The house is very clean, and in very hot weather the thick walls give a pleasant coolness inside. And if it is a little too cold, the radiators heat up very quickly everywhere in the house. Nearby you can go hiking in the forest. If you have children, an Adeps center by the river in the forest two kilometers from the house offers courses. By car, several swimming spots are less than half an hour away. In La Roche en Ardennes there are a multitude of good restaurants, and you can do tree climbing and kayaking. 200 m from the house, there is a very nice brasserie where you eat very well. And at the end of the meal, you can enjoy the unmissable Chouffe Café under the friendly gaze of thousands of little elves who live in the brasserie!

From Domaine Des Arts you can make beautiful hiking and mountain biking. Very quiet location but central to La Roche, Houffalize and Bastogne. Bummer heating tubes "were buzzing night despite turning off all heaters.

The house is fairly remote. For rest and relaxation it is delicious. Wonderful, large and sunny garden. Well maintained house, and everywhere cleaning and horramen against the flies.
