Exactly what we needed for a weekend away! The living room was spacious and the TV with a DVD player kept us entertained during our relaxation. The location was quiet but still close to the city center.

We had a pleasant stay in this holiday home. It is not the most modern vacation rental and there are some shortcomings (including some lamps that don't work and a somewhat messy kitchen inventory), but everything you need for a good stay is there. The sauna is very nice, you have plenty of space inside and outside, and there is a wood stove for the winter and a barbecue for the summer months. The biggest downside is that two of the three double beds are very small (1.20 meters wide), which can make a stay with multiple adults somewhat difficult. And the house is located on a busy road.

In general, we were very pleased. We had good weather and made a lot of use of the beautiful, enclosed garden. The house was also spacious enough for our group. (7 people and 2 medium-sized dogs). We enjoyed it. I would rent the house again, because if the weather is bad, the garage is full of fitness equipment, a pool table, and a foosball table. Little reason to complain, so... A few downsides that I don't want to leave unmentioned: Dishes in the kitchen were not clean (fault of previous tenants?); a double bed really needs to be replaced, and finally, there is a very unclear policy regarding who and what all needs to be paid. First of all, Belvilla of course, then Ardennes Online, for which you have to pay a deposit and tourist tax, and the owner whom you have to pay for used electricity and gas and possibly extra costs (fines) if, for example, you haven't emptied the last dishes from the dishwasher. Can't that be done differently, more clearly, and transparently, Belvilla?

At first glance, everything looked good, but we noticed things that were broken, loose, or simply missing. For example, no stopper for the sink, no peeler. We had to wash everything we wanted to use, and still, 5 out of 6 adults got sick! The bed collapsed as soon as someone sat on it. Then we had difficulties getting our deposit back because we supposedly hadn't sorted things properly and because of the broken bed. I advise everyone to report any issues immediately. We didn't want our vacation to be overshadowed by all of this. 😓

We also found that the sauna is not safe to use, had it turned on and moistened the stones with water which ran off the outside of the sauna? It would also be useful if there was a kettle in the kitchen. The second bathroom on the 1st floor definitely needs renovation.

Arrival was badly arranged. We still had to call the manager to finally be able to accommodate our accommodation. The manager spoke no other word other than French, which made communication quite frustrating because we were told that the manager spoke Dutch. No view, but 2 walks of 6 and 10 km leave at 300m. There is an interesting grocer nearby. The cottage is cozy, with the stove on. There are 2 bedrooms with good mattresses and 2 with lesser ones. The shower sprays in all directions. Refrigerator and freezer are spacious. Energy costs are rising.

No view, but 2 walks of 6 and 10 km leave at 300m. There is an interesting grocer nearby. The cottage is cozy, with the stove on. There are 2 bedrooms with good mattresses and 2 with lesser ones. The shower sprays in all directions. Refrigerator and freezer are spacious. Energy costs are rising.

The accommodation itself is okay, but needs renovation. There are several leaks in the garage that we showed to the owner. We also found that the sauna is not safe to use, had it turned on and moistened the stones with water which ran off the outside of the sauna? It would also be useful if there was a kettle in the kitchen. The second bathroom on the 1st floor definitely needs renovation.

Arrival was badly arranged. We still had to call the manager to finally be able to accommodate our accommodation. The manager spoke no other word other than French, which made communication quite frustrating because we were told that the manager spoke Dutch. Accommodation was good, beautiful etc. We have a very nice holiday, but the manager still got us frustrated Because of her lack of communication skills.

The house was clean and nice. We missed a wooden spoons, ladle etc for cooking.The house needs a refreshment. When you have small dogs, they cannot run free in the garden, the entrance fence is not totally closed. Overall we had a nice stay.

The perfect welcome, the house very poorly insulated phonetically we are on a very busy road and thermally it is a disaster, it is raining in the house, we had to put seals, a lot of signs of water infiltration, which causes a additional heating cost, shower heads do not work properly, shower gaskets are broken .... the gym is dilapidated or not maintained, the children's equipment in the garden is all broken !!! real, the garden is by the road .... I do not recommend this property and it does not deserve the 4 ears

We had a fantastic stay at the Cozy Holiday Home! The space was more than enough for our family of eight, and we loved the private sauna and the hot tub after a long day of hiking in the beautiful Ardennes. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the city center, where we found charming shops and restaurants. The children had a lot of fun in the garden while we enjoyed barbecues on the terrace. Highly recommended for families or groups who want to relax and explore!
