The gentleman was not home upon arrival and then did not know that I would come. The cottage had not been cleaned, and when it started to rain, water came in through the joints of the wall.

We (2 persons) were looking for a quiet, clean place with a view. If you want a romantic getaway with peace+ fireplace, I recommend. Curtains in living room are semi transparent but the bedrooms have good curtains. The area is beautiful and the manager (or owner) drone by to greet. Definitely a place for people looking for a nice getaway.

The little house was cozy, but it is in need of renovation (every day dirt/sand on the bathroom window, roller blinds that are worn out, ...). Since there was a presence of a robot lawn mower, we couldn't just leave the dog or garden furniture standing or alone in the garden that wasn't fenced. The garden furniture has seen better days, was broken or glued together with silicone. After heavy rain, water came along the wall of the toilet in the toilet and kitchen. For this, we did receive extra mops. The deer and sheep every day were nice and relaxing.

The house was smaller than we thought from the photos. But everything was present. There were just the two of us, but with more people it seems a bit cramped. Here and there it could use some sprucing up. In particular, showering in a bathtub may not appeal to many. (I found it difficult to climb out, at least) But all in all, we had a nice weekend. The owners are lovely people. The deer behind the house are also super nice! And it is a beautiful area here. Plenty to see and do!

The house has a cassette fire with free wood, contactless arrival and departure due to corona, it also has a microwave although that was not mentioned in the facilities. Six people can stay instead of four, but the living room does not have a sofa bed as mentioned. maybe it is really necessary to update the facilities. The house is better than it shows. Everything is there what is needed, but a bit old-fashioned, although that did not bother us at all.

The chalet is located in a green and pleasant environment, close to hiking trails. The layout of the chalet is practical and the veranda is well oriented and very appreciable for enjoying the sun. We can simply suggest that certain equipment (bedding, kitchen utensils, in particular cutlery) be renewed. The boiler is a bit noisy and clear. a strong smell of fuel oil.

Pleasant and neat house, in a quiet location, recommended for relaxation. Unfortunately no wifi, only with proximus range, we have orange and have to go to higher places to call or message! Sad and annoying!
