Beautiful stay in the Ardennes. The apartment had everything you need. Too bad the right remote control for the TV was missing.

Nice, fully furnished apartment in a beautiful area with lots to do. The kitchen is fully equipped: sufficient pans, crockery and cutlery. The only downside to the apartment is that it is really not clean. There is a lot of mold in the shower area and the floor drain looks like it hasn't been opened and cleaned in a year. Visibly no money is spent on the cleaning of the apartment. Upon arrival, I was the first to clean the refrigerator and toilet myself. And we couldn't get the television to work, but that could be just us... We were aware that we had to bring our own kitchen towels, toilet paper, bed linen and towels.

Nice home. However, the absolute basic necessities weren’t there. We had to complain to the concierge that there was 1/4th of a toilet paper roll when we arrived. She was pretty impolite in her reaction saying ‘it’s what the previous people left, you should take your own’. Im not taking my own TP rolls for a 2 days stay. One basic roll would suffice. There wasn’t any soap to wash anything by hand nor to wash your hands. The concierge as mentioned is rather impolite and couldn’t care about making sure we would have a nice stay. I wouldn’t reccomend staying here unless you want to bring every tiny thing from your home to this place.

Excellent accommodation, equipped with everything you need. We felt very comfortable here. Good contact with concierge, in case there is something. The accommodation is rural, quiet and beautifully centrally located in a beautiful walking area. Valley of the Semois and French Ardennes, but also Lesse are easily accessible. We wouldn't have to think about a return visit; book again immediately.

The outside of the complex and the hall seem a bit dull, but we were surprised by the appearance of the apartment itself. Very light and neatly finished. Clean and very well equipped. Very spacious and a nice balcony. The spacious garden and the surrounding area invite for a walk. Highly recommended for those seeking tranquility. We were welcomed by a very friendly Mrs. Martin, because Mrs. only speaks French and we don't, it was difficult to communicate.

Nice apartment with nice garden and view. All necessary facilities were available in the kitchen, just a pity about the dirty hood. Bathroom was less in order due to an unpleasant smell, dirty shower curtain and mold spores.

Hi, we had an unclear cost picture with a booking via booking.com, which ultimately was a Belvilla booking. The Booking.com website reports the price of 980 eur and the invoice from Belvilla amounted to 1600 eur, I could no longer cancel and had already Paid 300 eur, I called and emailed Belvilla that same evening, On the Belvilla website the price is very clear and correct, but they agreed with me that Booking, com was not correct, and have also refunded the 300 eur advance, I have then booked another holiday home directly with them,,,, Kind regards, Lieve

We enjoyed our time here, but I wish the heating had been a bit more effective during the colder nights. The wood stove was an excellent feature, however, and made the apartment warm and welcoming once we turned it on.

This place has an entire atmosphere, The view from the balcony over the forest is perfect for morning coffee and aesthetic photos, Super relaxing atmosphere and the barbecue in the garden is different when grilling with friends, Just a short bike ride to the forest trails, which is a great advantage, I am completely obsessed with the cozy vibes and the clean setting, 10/10 I will recommend it

Beautiful and secluded large house with multiple rental apartments. Our apartment on the 1st floor is spacious, comfortable, and has a terrace. The kitchen has more than enough pots and cooking utensils, and it is also equipped with a dishwasher and, very special, a 4-burner induction cooktop. The location of the apartment is such that you can go directly into the forest, where you can enjoy walks with stunning views. Also, France with the magnificent fortress castle of Sedan is easily reachable with a short drive. In short, apartment Les Chenets is highly recommended for a pleasant stay.

The building looks somewhat outdated from the outside, but the apartment is modernly furnished and fully equipped. Friendly welcome by the concierge, she only speaks French but does her best to make you feel at home.

Superb apartment, everything you need for a nice holiday was there. Sufficient kitchen equipment. Good bed and a great balcony to sit outside. We found the only drawback was the water pressure in the shower and taps, which was very low.

Very nicely furnished apartment with every comfort, good value for money. Bedroom: good mattress, sufficient storage space in the wardrobe, a wake-up light, because of a small cove in the bedroom there was just enough space for a children's travel cot, ideal. Comfortable bathroom (the shower curtain sometimes fell down even though we hadn't touched it, maybe it's better to confirm). Well-equipped kitchen (tip: there was much more available than we thought, such as apple press, pizza oven, so maybe this can be mentioned on the website as an asset). Very cosy, beautiful living room, quick to get very warm by the fire (firelighters not present, the concierge said to buy them in the local shop). Based on the photos during the reservation, we thought that we would have a view of the garden, that was not the case, we overlooked the parking. The area is beautiful and very quiet. It is pleasant to stay in the very large garden.Fine that there are several hiking maps and hiking suggestions were present in the living room.We could also rent a high chair at a low price (€ 1 / day), very convenient. There are only a few cars / tractors per day. Only downside: the apartment was not thoroughly cleaned, on arrival we cleaned the surfaces of the kitchen, bathroom and living room with our own cleaning product because they were clearly not (properly) cleaned (herb remains and crumbs on the counter, greasy fingers and stains on the kitchen cabinets , urine residue on the toilet seat, toothpaste traces on the mirror, spaghetti residue on the wall behind the toilet, mold on the drain cap of the sink) and also vacuumed in the living room. There were no logs ready in the living room, so we had to look for them in the dark. The final cleaning was included in the price, but we were still asked to vacuum the apartment and to replenish the wood basket, a bit embarrassing question we think if the apartment is not clean.

Nice apartment, everything is there and all appliances work well and are easy to operate. We just couldn't manage to stream on the Smart TV. But there are apps on the TV for Dutch programs. But if the weather is nice, you actually don't need a TV.

The apartment was not clean on arrival. We started cleaning ourselves. It doesn't smell fresh. Shower curtain and curtains are dirty at the bottom. Shelves next to the bed almost fall off the wall. The owner has already removed a plank on one side. There were dirty blood stains on the flannel of the bed. In short, never rent anything through Belvilla again.
