It quickly became nice and warm, especially with the fireplace. We found the reception and the check on departure a little less. But I did think it was strange to be immediately told on arrival and on departure what to do if we were to break or stain something ... Nice place for walking and cycling. The cottage is also very nice and clean. The wood stove is wonderful and the garden super spacious. Note that you also have to bring your own garbage bags, washing-up liquid and so on. We were in the large bedroom with 2 single beds (and below that the trundle beds) and those mattresses were already used very often.

A very neat apartment on the first floor. The building looks pretty dated and dingy, but the apartment itself is very nice and good. Spacious kitchen with everything you can need, oven and microwave, dishwasher and ceramic hob. Two bedrooms, one with double bed and one room with two single + trundle beds. The apartment is small for 6 people, it is suitable for 4 persons. The surroundings are very quiet, there were few other tenants in the other apartments of the complex, so also the shared garden was quiet. This is also so large that several tenants can make use of it without interfering with each other. The concierge is friendly and helpful, but speaks French only. The apartment is suitable for families with small children, there is a high chair and playground equipment and a sandbox in the garden. However, a swimming pool is not nearby, the nearest swimming pool is about an hour away by car. It was a great pity the amount of insects, especially fly and wasps. The apartment has no horrors or hinges, which means that there are regular wasps in the house. The only way to avoid this is keeping windows and sliding doors closed, but this is not so nice with warm weather. There was also a problem with the dishwasher, the sink above the machine was very hot and there was occasionally a smell of smell when the machine turned. We thought this was due to a lack of ventilation around the dishwasher and did not dare to turn the machine into a fire at night. We reported this to the concierge who would check if anything could be done. Is located in a beautiful area, with forests within walking distance. There are hiking trails in the woods around the apartment, but these are not clearly indicated and there was no roadmap in the apartment.

We had a nice stay at the Gros-Fays Apartment! It was big enough for our six-person family, and the kitchen was well-equipped for meal preparation. The location is peaceful, surrounded by nature, which allowed for nice hikes. Additionally, it was only a short drive from Bouillon, which was a bonus for our day trips. Overall, a great experience!

The apartment is part of an apartment complex. Our apartment on the first floor had a beautiful view over the valley. On arrival there was a key ready in a key safe. Later in the evening a concierge came by to explain everything. The decor is fine, unfortunately not clean. It was explained how the waste should be separated. Logistically complicated, because the plastic and paper and residual waste have to be collected on the ground floor. There were no garbage bags available for this. On request, the caretaker brought a small blue bag the following Monday. In the living room we had collected the waste ourselves in separate bins. The beds were not fresh and were not comfortable. Table tennis table is skewed and had to be cleaned due to growing moss. Upon departure, the caretaker checked the apartment. What was striking is that this elderly lady complained about her joints. Focus was how we had left the apartment. Felt it was all too much for her. Didn't really feel welcome.

great place to go hiking. from here cottage is spacious with inventory. bathroom and bedrooms are fine. However, the carpet in the living room really needs replacement seems. What a nice quiet place. Very many beautiful walks can make from a different village. Enjoyed day trips to the Caves of Han, the castles of Bouillon and Sedan (France) and a day in the beautiful city of Luxembourg. The beds in this apartment are lovely, we are located in the bedroom with two single beds pushed together. Fine quality. The kitchen is also good. it stands as "a pretty oven, a pity there is no scales which you can then create. delicious on dishes we have bought those little ramekins to make the burrs that you are near, you pick at this time of the year anywhere tarts ! It is a house with good lighting for reading. Somewhat snowing you Netherlands 1 show on TV, yet also nice. Hiking in the area is fine everywhere, very well marked walks, and in the apartment are good hiking maps available . use of the fireplace is nice, wood is free., I think there are some few outlets, because if you want to charge multiple phones and also an Ipad or so, it will be tight. The arrival at the house was very poor, Mrs. do not speak English or Dutch and is not really trying. Furthermore, the house was not really clean, but we were clearly asked to leave everything clean. The view from the balcony & the shared garden is amazing!

A too talkative cleaning lady on arrival, very helpful. Outdated building, entrance, corridor, apartment, nicely renovated inside, not isolated. Broken coffee table, loose glass top, dangerous with small children, also with adults.

Although we arrived very late at the apartment, the welcome was very friendly. The apartment looked very clean and nothing broken or worn out. We have had a lot of rain every day, but there is plenty to do in the area and even with rain the landscape is beautiful.

The accommodation was complete. fairly new interior of the living room and the kitchen. Cozy warmth of the wood stove in the cold period (dried wood on the spot in stock). A very neat apartment on the first floor. The building looks pretty dated and dingy, but the apartment itself is very nice and good. Spacious kitchen with everything you can need, oven and microwave, dishwasher and ceramic hob. Two bedrooms, one with double bed and one room with two single + trundle beds. The apartment is small for 6 people, it is suitable for 4 persons. The surroundings are very quiet, there were few other tenants in the other apartments of the complex, so also the shared garden was quiet. This is also so large that several tenants can make use of it without interfering with each other. The concierge is friendly and helpful, but speaks French only. The apartment is suitable for families with small children, there is a high chair and playground equipment and a sandbox in the garden. However, a swimming pool is not nearby, the nearest swimming pool is about an hour away by car. It was a great pity the amount of insects, especially fly and wasps. The apartment has no horrors or hinges, which means that there are regular wasps in the house. The only way to avoid this is keeping windows and sliding doors closed, but this is not so nice with warm weather. There was also a problem with the dishwasher, the sink above the machine was very hot and there was occasionally a smell of smell when the machine turned. We thought this was due to a lack of ventilation around the dishwasher and did not dare to turn the machine into a fire at night. We reported this to the concierge who would check if anything could be done. Is located in a beautiful area, with forests within walking distance. There are hiking trails in the woods around the apartment, but these are not clearly indicated and there was no roadmap in the apartment.

The cottage was a bit worn out. We are well received by a busy French-speaking lady. On departure we were given a bill of 60.00 euros for electricity with a vague untraceable account faint meter. Less leuk.verder beautiful surroundings.

great place to go hiking. from here cottage is spacious with inventory. bathroom and bedrooms are fine. However, the carpet in the living room really needs replacement seems. The wood stove is delicious but has also had its day. toilet runs through. We had a great time here. Delighted by a guestbook with many suggestions for walks, hiking maps available. View from the house is magnificent.

What a nice quiet place. Very many beautiful walks can make from a different village. Enjoyed day trips to the Caves of Han, the castles of Bouillon and Sedan (France) and a day in the beautiful city of Luxembourg. The beds in this apartment are lovely, we are located in the bedroom with two single beds pushed together. Fine quality. The kitchen is also good. it stands as "a pretty oven, a pity there is no scales which you can then create. delicious on dishes we have bought those little ramekins to make the burrs that you are near, you pick at this time of the year anywhere tarts ! It is a house with good lighting for reading. Somewhat snowing you Netherlands 1 show on TV, yet also nice. Hiking in the area is fine everywhere, very well marked walks, and in the apartment are good hiking maps available . use of the fireplace is nice, wood is free., I think there are some few outlets, because if you want to charge multiple phones and also an Ipad or so, it will be tight. And then we also had the battery 's our camera' s because we have beautiful "s maken.Slim able to own an additional socket

Beautiful large garden with table tennis, swings, sandpit, slide and soccer goals for our children aged 6 and 4 jaar.Rustige, safe and beautiful surroundings with plenty of things to do. Oa castle in Bouillon, knight tournament at castle in Sedan, the caves of Han, the ladder walk in Rochehaut and other routes (eg legend walk in Laforet), Euro Space Center, night, beautiful views, lookout for those without vertigo, etc. We have our great time and went home satisfied and rested.

The house is beautifully situated with a nice view. Apartment is neat and different than we are used to, there is a good bed. The banks leave much to be desired.
