Recently completely renovated chalet for 9 people, ideally located between Somme-Leuze and Durbuy. Outside jacuzzi and fully enclosed garden. The chalet “Arbre Dressé” is ideally located between Somme-Leuze (1km) and Durbuy (5km). This recently completely renovated chalet has on the ground floor a lounge (wood stove, flat screen TV, DVD) with dining area and equipped open kitchen (electric stove, oven, microwave, fridge with small freezer, coffee maker, toaster), a single bedroom with Wii game console, a bedroom with two single box-spring beds, a separate shower with sink and a separate toilet, a spacious covered terrace (not heated) with lounge seating area and jacuzzi for 3 persons. From the covered terrace there is access to an outdoor terrace in natural stone. The first floor has one spacious, but low attic room with a double bed and a play corner for the children. On the ground floor there is a second separate toilet and two spacious bedrooms, each with a sink and a walk-in rain shower. Fully enclosed garden. Beds: 1 x 2 pers. + 7 x 1 pers. Gas - + electric heating. PETS ALLOWED. Free Wifi.For reasons of tranquillity, this house will not be rented to groups of young people. Organizing student parties, bachelor parties, drinking parties in this house is prohibited. The installation of loudspeakers, the use of megaphones and the playing of amplified music is strictly prohibited in this accommodation.

We were received very well at the reception on Monday. The cottage was very nicely cleaned. When we entered, it smelled fresh from the cleaning products. The house is not big at all. We were 5 people. The rooms were quickly divided. The rooms on the ground floor are two nice large rooms with a good shower. A major disadvantage was that the exhaust systems in both showers did not work. The result was that the fire alarm went off when taking a hot shower. The beds are very good. But... The seats were old and worn out. It was not pleasant to sit there. They are in urgent need of renewal. The kitchen was not large but practical. The light in the fridge did not work. The pans for frying meat were also old and worn out. The added value of the house was the jacuzzi. The first two days it was pleasant to sit in it, but on the third day the water had a strange smell and a dirty color. We immediately rinsed the filters with the garden hose that was present. The filters were orange in color. There was a dirty, stinking mush in the filter compartment. As a result, no one has gone into the jacuzzi anymore. I reported all these issues when returning the key. Unfortunately, I did not take any photos. I hope these comments will be reviewed. The price of the house was not so cheap. I hope we can receive some compensation. Best regards.

The big advantage of this property is the high fence. However, the gate of the vacation home does not close as it should. You need to block it with a large natural stone boulder. This takes away the feeling of safety of being able to leave your dog alone in the garden, because the vacation home is located on a 70 road. Letting your own dog loose in the garden was also severely hindered by the presence of two neighbor dogs, on both sides. The neighbor dogs bark incessantly at the movement of ourselves and our dog in the garden of the holiday home. As a result, our dog has been on a leash the entire stay. This is not why you book a holiday home with a fenced garden. In addition, we received an unpleasant surprise a day before arrival to have to sign a police statement to comply with the noise regulations. Without signing this statement, we would not receive the key code. A decibel meter would be placed in the holiday home. After two warnings of exceeding the decibel limit, the police would be called in and this would immediately lead to revocation of access to the property. We were informed on our arrival day by Ardennes Online that a technician would come by for the television two days later. The vacation home has mice, no working ventilation systems in the showers downstairs which leads to moisture droplets on the ceilings on the ground floor and is likely also the cause of the unpleasant (sewage-like) smell. Upon arrival, the jacuzzi was neatly cleaned and the garden was relatively well tidied up (we ourselves picked up some things to protect our dog).

First cottage, don't attach too much value to luxury otherwise you wouldn't have chosen this cottage. Jacuzzi lovely. Cottage fine, a bit dated but fine. Some lamps didn't work and dishwasher wheels were missing. Everything reported to organizations.

beautiful cozy accommodation with a large garden. Since it is a wooden chalet, it is a bit noisy, but sufficient privacy with 3 options to shower, 2 toilet facilities. indoor jacuzzi.
