I have waited a while to write this message, this has to do with the fact that we still have not received our deposit of 1300 EURO ''4'' months later. Last Pentecost weekend, we used this accommodation with our family, however, nothing is what it seems. We have the impression that we have been scammed, upon arrival the house seemed very outdated, smelling of sewage, a house we had to look past. The photos are not what they seem. However, the next morning we woke up to the problems, our house was underwater, the rooms were full of water, our clothes floated in the sewage, it smelled of feces. With a little investigation, it also seemed that mainly patches were being applied. The sewage system had burst, we could not use the bathrooms, toilets on the 1st and 2nd floor. OUT OF ORDER. After quite a commotion, angry phone calls with the crisis line of Belvilla resulted in two options; 1. Pack your things and go home, then we will see how we can compensate you? (24 people from a to b, vacation gone, no guarantee) 2. Stay on location and we will ensure that the owner resolves the issues and you will be compensated 400 euros per day including the costs of g/w/l, as long as the problems persist. At the end of this first full day, the owner was busy working with two men to remove all the water and stop the leak; the toilets and showers (24 people) could no longer be used. We tried to get over it and make the best of it, Belvilla is doing their best... That same evening we lost power; due to all the damage the house had suffered from the leaks, we could no longer use electricity, we couldn't be in the kitchen, we had no light, we could no longer cool our groceries. (Hottest weekend of the year, no solution) The last day had arrived, we have been busy with Belvilla to get our deposit back in advance. Belvilla was unresponsive, was sent from pillar to post, they could not help us until the weekend was over and we returned home. (IT WAS REQUESTED NOT TO POST A REVIEW for as long as this lasted.) However, we are now a few months later, I have weekly contact, legal assistance to resolve the issue with Belvilla. They do not get in touch with the owner, but still rent out the house 28/7/2026. This is unacceptable, this is absolutely not possible. It is our hard-earned savings that should be coming to us, through the chaos within this organization, having no structure in which we as guests have to adhere to the rules to even be able to access our deposit? Ridiculous if you ask me. The chance that our deposit is thus lost is great, but the chance that I will get it is just as small. Dear Belvilla, you have ruined our vacation, created a gap in our finances, and you do NOTHING. After 10 years we decided to have another go with our family group on holiday. We were 36 people including 6 children under 10 years. The search for a home was not easy. Despite the worse weather we had a super time! The trampoline and small playground, the children could tempt. The lawn in the picture is actually a pasture for cows. The cots are to be replaced. The homeowner is always ready. Little short in the kitchen? Just ask he has as good as anything in his catering kitchen. I was asked for 200€ for cleaning while on the site it says 135€… basically we have a lot of complications… which was not worth the amount I had to pay for renting the accommodation. I can only put one photo but in addition the place was not very fresh.

Already when I arrived, no one to do the inventory of fixtures.. I had to ring the owner who told me he had put them under a pot behind the cottage… so no inventory of fixtures when I entered and no more when I left… so we don’t know our consumption (heating, electricity, water…) then out of the 9 bedrooms… one was HS with a water leak, out of the 4 showers, 3 no longer drained… with 20 people it’s quite complicated… it says jacuzzi sauna… nothing was functional.. I was asked for 200€ for cleaning while on the site it says 135€… basically we have a lot of complications… which was not worth the amount I had to pay for renting the accommodation. I can only put one photo but in addition the place was not very fresh.

we rented this cottage to celebrate the 80 years of mom, we were thirty people we were very disappointed by the housing and the lack of seriousness of the owner. The photos are unfortunately misleading parts to live (dining room, kitchen and bar) are located in the basement with no other opening to the outside that a single glazed door dishwasher was down, the sauna did not work, the rooms and bedding were not clean.
