The cottage was good for the price, but there were quite a few things broken, and the toilet smelled really terrible, and the photos are not entirely accurate. Other than that, we had a great week with eight of us and two dogs.

The cottage is fine, located on a main road but you don't mind that. We were there for New Year's Eve. Large enclosed garden with a jacuzzi under a roof. Behind the house, there is a forest where you can walk wonderfully. Ideal if you want peace and want to escape the fireworks. The house is suitable for 8 people, but in our opinion, a maximum of 6 people, the beds are good, wonderful duvet, the beds are queen-size, a bit cramped for two adults. The bathroom is great, wonderful shower with good water pressure, bathtub. It looked clean. Kitchenware was more than sufficient, though there was ugly fluorescent lighting, but that was easily solved by putting another lamp there. Wood stove, you can order wood from the owner via SMS. The dishwasher was broken, but that didn't spoil the fun. What we did miss was a manual for the TV and jacuzzi, a call to the owner and it was resolved. Furthermore, we had a lovely week.

A beautiful house on a well-secured property along a somewhat busy road, but you don't hear much of that inside. There is plenty of space, and the garden is spacious where the dogs could run freely without being able to get onto the road. Under the large roof at the back of the house, there is a lovely jacuzzi for 3 people. We really enjoyed it.

If the rat problem could be controlled, one could have a relaxing vacation with the balcony door open; otherwise, I would advise keeping the doors closed!

We were received very warmly by the owner. Cottage was fully equipped. The owner was full of surprises. She had bought a treat for a dog, but we were with our cat. When she arrived later in the week bringing some goodies for our cat. Very sweet! We had a wonderful week. Jacuzzi and nippa are delightful places to stay. The most we miss the driveway and large garden, and nature is so close. In the High fens you can stroll (5 a10 minutes from the cottage by car). In the Ardennes is plenty to do. Unfortunately always by car on the road, but for you, we enjoyed delicious in the Ardennes), a top holiday.

Nice house and nice environment, direct access to the forest. Enclosed garden perfect for a visit with a dog. Owner of the home was friendly. Unfortunately the jacuzzi was very dirty, so we decided to clean it ourselves. (Completely emptying / filling, because chlorine tablets and pH adjustment proved insufficient at this point of contamination) Unfortunately, the damage had already been done, the first evening we enjoyed it for a long time with a glass of bubbles. Upon returning home we all had redness and painful skin infections. An ear canal and eardrum were also found in one of us. All symptoms and complaints are most likely caused by a bacterial infection from the so-called "hot tub folliculitis". All symptoms have since disappeared, including one of us with medication prescribed by the doctor. But unfortunately I have to say that the hygiene of the jacuzzi is very poor. A shame because for the rest we score the house "" worth repeating "". And by the way, we can't fault the hygiene of the rest of the house.

The arrival was successful The reception was very pleasant with cava, water and a rice cake. There was a problem with the heating this was resolved fairly quickly. The cottage is large and equipped with various luxuries. The bed is very comfortable. It is reasonably superficially clean. The house is not completely finished, among other things, electric wires hang from the wall in various places. Another flaw is the lack of curtains / blinds / shutters (read lack of privacy) only in the bedrooms are curtains. The wood stove in the house is beautiful and you can buy firewood from the neighbor. The cottage is on a road where very hard is driven which is a downside. However, it is nice that the terrain to the cottage is completely closable with a large fence at the front. From the cottage you are in 10 minutes by car in the walking area near the high moors. Pleasant and warm reception. The cottage is in a great location in the High Fens. On a busy road but fortunately a good fence with which the site could be closed. Great holiday, all material is provided. Only pay attention to people larger than 1m85 because there is a lowered ceiling. Ideal location for walks (Baraque Michel, Signal de Botrange, Lake Gileppe, Robertville, Hoëgne, Tros Marets, ...) Cozy cottage and a good base to discover the region. The concrete floor is a bit cold, but ideal if you have a pet. (The garden is also really completely closed off.) For the rest you will find everything you need when traveling in the house. The jacuzzi was not on when we arrived. It took a few hours for it to reach a comfortable temperature. The garden is somewhat overgrown, but if there are no children with it, it is spacious enough for the company. Good beds too. All in all we are very satisfied.

Beautiful house and nicely decorated but in our opinion dirty. Bathroom, jacuzzi were clean, but nowhere was dusted, dishwasher was still full, beds were not made. There was a smell of cat urine on the floor of the jacuzzi. The garden is completely overgrown. A thorough cleaning and maintenance of the garden would make this house a great stay!

Nice location, house was fine, good beds and sanitary facilities. However, a number of negatives that we are not used to from Belvilla: - the waste container was overflowing on arrival and was not emptied during our stay. Also no information about pick-up day. - there was no reception by the owner (key under the mat), but also no instruction on paper about the house and the equipment. Getting TV to work was therefore quite a challenge. Also set up the jacuzzi but figure it out for yourself ... - washing machine was there but door was disassembled so it was not usable. - bedding was finished (square repaired, stains in pillowcases), towels with bleach stains - second day wood for the fireplace ordered from the owners, answer: was ordered after that nothing more and the wood never arrived - garden is neglected, there is a aquarium and carp pond, without instruction or ask to feed these animals and how much so just guessed ... - on departure the key shoved under the mat again, no message from the owner. Nevertheless, a beautiful area where we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Super reception with cava and rice cake! Everything present in the cottage to make it a nice weekend (gourmet set, pancake machine ..). Very nice bathroom. Perfect location close to many activities. I would like to start with the positives;

The location is very good, close to the woods and lots of natural beauty, the high moors, Spa, Coo and Monschau. The owner had placed a scraper for the car at the door (very thoughtful), the presence of soap, garbage bags, dishwasher cubes and detergent was also very nice. The contact was also short and concise and all that was needed. Communication about the key was also clear. The jacuzzi upstairs overlooking the forest is great if it is clean.



Then the less pleasant points, I want to emphasize that I did not want to ruin my holiday and have taken it as it is;

The house was not really clean except for the floor (which had been bleached well), I myself had to clean before I could unload and pack. Dirty plates and broken glasses were in the cupboard. The jacuzzi was also not fresh and there was no manual on how to clean it, so we used it on good luck. There were large dog turds in the garden, broken furniture on the terrace, broken football, a smelly garbage container with something of rugs or clothing on the ground in the garden behind it. The tap was leaking in the kitchen, many lights didn't work, power and electricity wires come out of the wall, not a good couch to relax on. There are fish, who feeds them and how much? All unknown.

It is such a shame, this house really needs love and a good refresher / cleaning and then it will be a small paradise in the woods when the garden is also renovated. Personally, I wouldn't recommend anyone to book the house in this condition now. The price quality ratio is not right now. I hope the owner makes improvements and that many more people can visit this beautiful place in the Ardennes. The area has so much beauty to offer.

Cozy cottage and a good base to discover the region. The concrete floor is a bit cold, but ideal if you have a pet. (The garden is also really completely closed off.) For the rest you will find everything you need when traveling in the house. The jacuzzi was not on when we arrived. It took a few hours for it to reach a comfortable temperature. The garden is somewhat overgrown, but if there are no children with it, it is spacious enough for the company. Good beds too. All in all we are very satisfied.

Cozy cottage. Nice bubble bath, a pleasant stay on cold days. Downside, not a decent garden to play in, but a nice terrace to sit outside. Forest behind the house, nice for a walk. Forest entrance within walking distance.

Despite the rainy weather, a very pleasant leave behind. Very pleasant chalet, cozy and gives the feeling of "holiday in our own country" - just away from the hustle and bustle. Charming welcome, with our dog a nice surprise.Comfortable beds and of course the jacuzzi - which was very welcome after the long beautiful walks in the vicinity. Ananar dam of Gileppe and Baraque Michel. The house is surrounded by a path, so actually a lot of "outside space". Inside, also plenty of room with very high quality bathroom (spacious bath, rain shower).

Beautiful house and nicely decorated but in our opinion dirty. Bathroom, jacuzzi were clean, but nowhere was dusted, dishwasher was still full, beds were not made. There was a smell of cat urine on the floor of the jacuzzi. The garden is completely overgrown. A thorough cleaning and maintenance of the garden would make this house a great stay!

Nice location, house was fine, good beds and sanitary facilities. However, a number of negatives that we are not used to from Belvilla: - the waste container was overflowing on arrival and was not emptied during our stay. Also no information about pick-up day. - there was no reception by the owner (key under the mat), but also no instruction on paper about the house and the equipment. Getting TV to work was therefore quite a challenge. Also set up the jacuzzi but figure it out for yourself ... - washing machine was there but door was disassembled so it was not usable. - bedding was finished (square repaired, stains in pillowcases), towels with bleach stains - second day wood for the fireplace ordered from the owners, answer: was ordered after that nothing more and the wood never arrived - garden is neglected, there is a aquarium and carp pond, without instruction or ask to feed these animals and how much so just guessed ... - on departure the key shoved under the mat again, no message from the owner. Nevertheless, a beautiful area where we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Very cozy house that is very well equipped. Very good location and the jacuzzi was perfect to recover from our long walks. The owner lives next door, but the arrival and departure went very smoothly and without unnecessary formalities. We come back!

Super reception with cava and rice cake! Everything present in the cottage to make it a nice weekend (gourmet set, pancake machine ..). Very nice bathroom. Perfect location close to many activities. Top jacuzzi in bright room! One tip for the landlord curtains down would make it even more cozy in the evening in kitchen and living.

Smooth reception. Clear tour from the owner. House was Ok, but a major cleaning would be desirable. The corners and edges were not so clean (fabric nets, cobwebs, ...) The garden was also too wild. Lots of blackberries and weeds

Pleasant chalet very well equipped, clean and warm jacuzzi on our arrival, very warm welcome by the lady who cleaned the chalet and who explained to us well. Perfect sirutation to see the signal of bortange, the mount rigi, the Michel hut, the lake of Gileppe, waterfall in Beaumont .. Despite the bad weather we took advantage.

Beautiful house, central location. Dog friendly. Garden fenced, a bit wild. In my opinion, the house and garden could be great if some places were cleaned up in a more structured way. As an animal lover I liked the fish and pond, manual for the care of the fish inside and outside and bubble bath would make it complete.

Pleasant and warm reception. The cottage is in a great location in the High Fens. On a busy road but fortunately a good fence with which the site could be closed. Especially a perfect house for small children baby bed / bath / high chair, toy fine terrace. There is a pond but it is well fenced. Clearly everything has been thought about and provided in the house (good kitchen inventory, etc etc, even swimming pools for the small front in the jacuzzi.

A warm welcome in the house. The hostess had some goodies ready for us and gave us a quick and clear tour, including a good explanation of how the jacuzzi works and how to reach it. The house was very complete, beds were neat and well. However, if you are taller than 1.87, the house may be a little low.

Very friendly welcome, on arrival there was a pastry and a bottle of cava which certainly was in the liking.Wood for the stove was not provided, sorry for the already cold weather in November. But the heating compensated.
