A nice base for walks and in our case, Formula 1 in Spa. This is 45 minutes drive, but the house price is at least well compared to the immediate area of ​​Spa. Nice people. We could stay a little longer on the day of departure so we did not have to rush after an intense weekend!

Large for 5 people because of the different rooms that are there, nice. There are 2 bedrooms that are adjacent to each other, where you walk through the front bedroom to use the toilet on the landing. Everything is old, a bit creaky and crooked, but that also has character. It was new for us to pay for water (4 euros per day per person) and electricity consumption which is considerably higher than in the Netherlands. So take into account extra costs afterwards. We enjoyed our stay and look back on a successful holiday.

For us it was very nice that there is so much room for the children. There was a high chair and bedstead ready for the youngest. The house is on the main road, so you have to pay extra attention to children that they are not on the road. But behind the house with the enclosed garden you do not notice much and the children can play.

We came for a sporting midweek in this house because we were looking for a simple shelter as we gingen.Bij whole days off arrival we were warmly received by the owner. The couple lives just across the road. She gave a little tour and showed where we could hold wood for the fire. They also showed the fields where our kids could play safely. Indeed, it is to watch out on the road where the house is located. There is not much traffic, but the traffic that passes by, driving fast! We were very happy with the peace, space and nature around the house. You can walk right away endlessly. The interior of the house is very dated and dusty here and there as it is now once in an old house. The bathroom did look like new and was nicely clean. The house was also equipped (large fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave, 2nd toilet in the bedroom). Finally, we enjoyed all the nice things that provide the Ardennes has canoeing from the waterfalls of Coo, the Remouchamps caves, climbing and abseiling in the old quarry of Sprimont (booked online via Carriënta).
