This cozy holiday home in Hamoir-Filot offers a peaceful retreat for families, just 2.7 km from the town center and surrounded by the lush landscapes of the Ardennes. With easy access to the train station and Liège Airport, it’s a great base for exploring nearby attractions like the Grotte de Comblain, Lassus Castle, and the thrilling Adventure Valley Durbuy. Nature lovers will enjoy forest walks and kayaking on the Ourthe River.

GENERAL: - nice house, well heated, spacious (bath) rooms, trampoline nice; entrance earlier, COMMENTS: - radiators upstairs (rooms garden side) make 'noise'; - experienced as annoying during the night (at a low setting); advice: bleed! - kitchen setup spacious: not everywhere equally clean: the glasses, cutlery, cups, frying pan. - no teapot, coffee maker. cleaned - bring your own linen/bed sheets/bath towels, this was not expected against the rental price - no reception present upon arrival, only at 19:00; (French spoken) - there are no waste containers for organic waste

Received a very good reception with a small tour. The house was very neat and was equipped with all necessities. Is not far from Plopsa Coo and Durbuy, so there are plenty of activities for small children in the area. Kayaking is also possible in Hamoir, a 5-minute drive away, so definitely recommended. There are also nice walks via Komoot. We were a bit unlucky with the weather, but we were able to use all the facilities due to the heated swimming pool. In short, a very nice house in an ideal location!

We were able to rent this nice house for a ridiculously low price (especially for what you get), which makes the stay even more pleasant! The house was decorated with Christmas / winter decorations, including a Christmas tree, for which many plus points! White and blue Christmas colors like you don't see in the Netherlands. House was also top, clean, spacious and equipped with all (modern) conveniences. The area was great and there were plenty of things to do in the area. If you want to take a walk in the woods or a ride through the beautiful Ardennes hills: no problem. If you want to visit large America-like shopping centers / boulevards: there is that too! Thanks for everything.
