Beautiful, authentic little house. Nice playroom for the kids. Bedrooms and beds are okay. The 5th bedroom on the mezzanine is more for the kids because it has a very steep staircase to go up. It was also incredibly warm here.

We had a wonderful stay at Vintage Mill. The bedrooms were spacious and clean, and the layout worked well for our two families. The children enjoyed the garden area, and we enjoyed barbecuing in the evenings. It is a great base to explore the beautiful Semois region, with plenty of hiking trails nearby. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat!

Large space for our group! Clean and practical, with a nice kitchen. The BBQ in the garden was a hit for our summer evenings. Just a short drive to restaurants and shops, so very convenient.

The mill is charming and well-equipped for larger groups. We enjoyed the billiards and table football in the recreation room, and the wood stove in the living room created a warm atmosphere. The location is quiet, but close enough to Paliseul for dining options. Overall, a great place for a group outing with no major complaints.

Honestly, this mill is a hidden gem! The wood stove made our evenings so warm and inviting. We had fun playing billiards and the location was great for hiking. I will definitely come back for another family trip!

Very complete holiday home. Everything was present. Nicely furnished. It has 2 bedrooms downstairs and 2 upstairs. All with their own shower facilities. Upstairs in one room, there are also extra sleeping places, but we don't find that suitable because you have to go up a steep little staircase, which feels cramped. The description of the house is confusing. We believe there are 8 sleeping places. Furthermore, it is very idyllic. The owners are super nice. We had a great weekend.

This is a beautiful renovated old water mill where we have been having fun with two families. By reading the following you may think that it was written by sailing Dutchers. Nothing is less true, this house is very nice and cozy. There have been a few things in our minds. My goal is to inform the following guests about this. (As we also like to make use of reviews) What happened to it? - there was hardly any hot water. Bad room too, you could really shower hot. Even when there was no tea for a long time, the water remained cold in the other rooms. The beds were quite hard and of moderate quality, Ikea - many unpleasant "sloaps". Many dishes were broken and the coffee machine was not working properly. dish in the dishwasher etc. - The games room is moderately accessible via a type of hatch that had to be completely opened up, had to be removed from the floor. Through a difficult staircase and humid space, you have to walk safely. - The bedroom has hardly any closet space for clothes on the mountains. - The owner was not present on our arrival which was what was left by autopech. The door was open we were allowed to give a tour. On departure, however, she was present just 10 minutes before check-out time

On arrival the keys were in the door and we got an owner an hour later. Everything went very well. Although we did not speak the language at all, we were able to advance well and well. The hotplate (heat slowly) and the frying pan are the only things to notice. There is another house on the property but you have .... where you also have total privacy. The animals on the grounds are very cozy especially the goose is nice. On departure, a round was made and kind farewell. A place to come back again.

What a lovely house! Been with a group of 10 people. 5 adults and 5 children aged 10-15 years. Upon receipt, the key was in the door and we were able to "land" at our leisure. The owner came the next morning (after she had called us about it half an hour after arrival), for some explanation. We really enjoyed a week. From the games room, the terrace, the jeux de boules court, the surroundings and last but not least; the donkey! A lot of roots have gone through it. Spacious kitchen with everything you think you need. Especially the large refrigerator and two freezers were very pleasant. Also very nice that there is a washing machine and dryer in the house. In short, really nothing to complain about. It is that we always like to look for a different house every time otherwise I would definitely come back. Fam Breuren

We were expected in complete freedom (open door with key and no hand viewers, just perfect for me!). After the installation, Mr Poncelet came by to get acquainted, a few infos about the house and we could start. Very well installed (all Miele appliances that work perfectly) and enough pots and perfectly maintained baking pans for extensive breakfasts and dinners on the crockery from Maison du monde (yes). Every bedroom (with recently renewed mattresses that still feel a bit "firm" ...) also has its shower room and heating is provided everywhere! and the spinning wheel and the Flam fireplace and the garden and the decorative elements and and and ... The environment with its profound tranquility and home to many birds of prey, its pond with terrace and hot tub completed it. pleasantly surprised and enthusiastic. An ice-cold house on arrival, which is not nice if you are on holiday with 4 babies. The description says 5 bedrooms, this is absolutely NOT correct. A (mini) bedroom has a steep ladder to the top, sort of attic / mezanine. We were 5 families, so we could not each have their own room. Moreover, those stairs were so steep that you had to climb, absolutely not safe. The 10th person had to sleep in the hall. The home owner said that this wrong information is Belvilla. So for your information, there are 3 spacious bedrooms and a 4th small with an attic space. House is very neat and has a lot of charm, but not child-friendly. When we left, we called several times that we would leave at 6 pm without a reply. We left a message which was subsequently confirmed. We haven't seen anyone. The day after departure, we got a very rude and furious owner on the phone that we just left without paying for the wood and that we had used sheets. However, it was agreed upon arrival that we would only pay for the wood we had used and that we would of course pay at check-out or bank transfer. And the home owner went to get the sheets herself for one of us and she supposedly didn't have to pay them because it was very inconvenient that she had to sleep in the hallway. She was absolutely beyond reason. Finally, we forgot our Senseo and asked to send it to us, but she didn't want to and kept them behind. Not a pleasant feeling at all about this stay.

Fantastic charming gite. The playroom was a nice surplus. All games and household items must be brought as there is nothing present. Wi-Fi barely worked or not, but all computers and iPhones were put aside. Upon arrival, the use of the WiFi explained by owners. The tub in the garden was leak so we could not use it. However, the interior of the mill more than made up for this. Recommended!

House was special with that water wheel. The rooms are fine. There isn't much to the town. Communication with the owners was poor. We emailed and called with questions in French but they did not respond. Only after calling Belvilla did they email back. On arrival, difficult to find in the dark in the rain, the door turned out to be open with a key in the lock. They should have let you know. On the day of departure, the owner just walked in half an hour early to refill wood. A bit rude. In short, the house is nice, as described, but the environment and communication are less so.

Beautiful location: you step out of the house and you can already enjoy a nice walk. Outside is a very sweet donkey that is adored by our children. The house is fully equipped and - despite being an old mill - luxurious and renovated with pleasant bedrooms and bathrooms. In short, highly recommended and a paradise for our children!

This was such a nice and special house. It is full of nice surprises. A house is often less beautiful than in the photos, but this exceeded our expectations. Really enjoyed this stay. House was also very neat and clean.
