Very nice owners, but you do need to work on your French at home. The house was beautiful, location also good on the edge of a small village. I find this one of the prettiest corners of the Ardennes. It consists of a living and a leisure area. The living area is really cozy and has a TV, dining table, sofas, and a fireplace. The leisure area is a - somewhat uninviting white-lit - kitchen where you have everything you need. Attached to that are a utility room and a space with some play equipment. Below are two bedrooms and also upstairs, all with private bathrooms. Outside, the children enjoyed the trampoline. The playground was less popular and somewhat outdated. The garden cannot be closed off, so with small children, you need to stay nearby. Behind the house are deer and on the side a horse, which also received a lot of attention. We will probably come back again.

We were already awaited by the owner. Very kindly received by Mr and Mrs.What a fantastic house. It looks like a castle. Provided with everything. Beautiful large room and kitchen and all bedrooms have their own bathroom. In the garage were large fridges and a large freezer that we could use.Lekker to cool the drinks.Beautiful views and the environment is wonderfully quiet. Also a nice big terrace to sit on. We actually wanted to stay for another week, it was so beautiful.

Alleen 2 kleine opmerkingen: - trap naar eerste verdiep is zonder afsluiting langs buitenkant en daarom een beetje gevaarlijk voor kleinere kinderen. - billiard tafel is aan de vervanging toe. Veel beschadigingen, waardoor een normaal spel moeilijk is. Voor de rest een goede huis en vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaars.

We have just spent an excellent week, in peace, in this magnificent house located on the heights of the village. Spotlessly clean, the property, very comfortable and fully equipped, is very tastefully furnished. The garden and the landscape are simply stunning. The children took advantage of the trampoline, the sandbox and even got to approach and feed the sheep in the nearby meadow. Pure moments of happiness ... Beautiful and very spacious home with every comfort. Everything you need is available. The owners live across the street and are very friendly and helpful without being intrusive or indiscreet. We even got a whole basket with tasty mushrooms (porcini mushrooms). The property is very quiet and the forest is not far away. We stayed there during the autumn holiday with 8 (young) adults and a dog. It was a very pleasant week and we will definitely come back.
