A great location right by the sea, / The house is equipped with everything (from can opener to garlic press) / The beds are comfortable,

The house is great with a direct view of the sea. BUT when we entered the house, the floor was full of sand, there was sand in a bed, the dining table was sticky, the dishes were partially dirty, there were used baking trays with baking paper in the oven, etc. A complaint to the property manager went unanswered. First, it was claimed that these were normal signs of use. Then it was said that we had complained too late. When we had refuted that, it was suddenly claimed that the photos we had sent as evidence could not be opened. When we sent the photos in a different format, it all started over again (with the assertion that these were normal signs of use). Apparently, the staff of the property manager have been instructed to dismiss everything. The condition of the house is very poor, aside from the cleanliness. Of the dining chairs, only seven are available instead of eight. For the outdoor chairs, we could only find five. The armchairs in the living room are practically unusable because the artificial leather of the cushions is crumbling, and one is covered in a layer of black crumbs after getting up. The joints in the shower are moldy up to eye level and partly so black that the original grout can no longer be seen. That there is no power outlet for shaving in the bathroom is just a minor issue. We felt so uncomfortable that we left after five days - that was already a compromise because we didn't want to throw more money out the window by leaving even earlier.

Nothing is in bad condition, but could use a bit of a refresh. There is some peeling wallpaper, dents and dings in the walls and furniture. All the appliances work well. I was so happy that one did not need an engineering degree to figure out the stove. I would go there again with just the two of us, or with family and use every bedroom. This is not the first time we visited Lild Strand. It will definitely not be the last. Recommendations: There is so much to see in the area. Both Tvisted and Fjerritslev have shops and restaurants, though Tvisted has more variety, as it is a much bigger town. There are aquariums and other kid-friendly activities to be found. There are lots of museums, the bunkers from WWII are prevalent, but you can find many Viking related places as well. And of course the miles and miles of beaches and trails right at your doorstep.

Location top, equipment has aged, already complained about the last vacations. There is a lack of cutlery and other kitchen utensils. Cleanliness should be improved. Toilet flush in small WC whistles. No lock in the outdoor area for years. Despite everything, we always like to come back to Lild. This year even rented house 2025-13032.

At first, it was claimed that these were normal signs of use. Then it was said that we had complained too late. When we had refuted that, it was suddenly claimed that the photos we had sent as evidence could not be opened. When we sent the photos in a different format, it all started over again (with the assertion that these were normal signs of use). Apparently, the staff of the property manager have been instructed to simply brush everything off. The condition of the house is very poor, aside from the cleanliness. Of the dining chairs, only seven are available instead of eight. For the outdoor chairs, we could only find five. The armchairs in the living room are virtually unusable because the artificial leather of the cushions is flaking, and one is covered in a layer of black crumbs after getting up. The joints in the shower are moldy up to eye level and partly so black that the original grout material can no longer be seen. That there is no socket for shaving in the bathroom is just a minor detail. We felt so uncomfortable that we left after five days - that was already a compromise because we didn't want to throw more money out the window by leaving even earlier.
