We offer you a light-flooded holiday home in a rural, quiet environment with sauna, winter garden, terrace and beautiful garden in Büchelberg, a district of Gunzenhausen. Whether you just want to relax and let go in the gorgeous garden or plan a sporty active holiday - our holiday home offers the right thing for everyone.
A holiday in Büchelberg is also delightful for children, as a large, award-winning adventure playground with climbing wall, caves, swings and slides is only 100 m away from the holiday home. The Altmühlsee with its beautiful sandy beaches and pirate rides can be reached after 3 km.
The adjacent Mönchswald forest invites you to go on long hikes. You can reach all the lakes by bike on well-maintained cycle paths without using public roads. Büchelberg is also an ideal starting point for day trips to the historic towns of Dinkelsbühl, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Nördlingen, Eichstätt, Weißenburg, Feuchtwangen and Nuremberg. The house is very quiet in a 1000sqm garden overlooking meadows and forests. From the garden you can see the Altmuehlsee. The nearest supermarket is 2km away. Büchelberg is a district of the city of Gunzenhausen. The village lies on a south-facing slope and is only 2km from Altmuehlsee and 10 km from the Brombachsee. In the village there is a catered, some farms and a courtyard that offers carriage rides. For children, a prize-winning, semi-natural and scenic location adventure playground is available. To the site is adjacent to a very large forest area with many marked trails.

Wonderfully refreshed
We were very happy to be guests in the blue house. There was absolutely nothing missing. We were greeted with delicious cake and warmly welcomed. The garden is beautiful and perfect for relaxing under the apple tree. The location for outings is great and we will definitely come back. We can only recommend the accommodation.

Instead of the Mediterranean into the Blue House
This year we opted for regional holidays and found very warm hosts in the Kugler family. From the very beginning we felt very comfortable and welcome here. The holiday home is very quietly located at the edge of the Mönchswald at the end of a dead-end street in a beautiful well-kept garden
The mixed weather allowed us to enjoy all the benefits of this accommodation. Great relaxation in the sauna after extensive hikes, just relaxing in the garden and listening to the birds and frogs in concert or having breakfast under the cherry tree.
The holiday home is lovingly decorated throughout with light wood and many blue accessories. Even the fully equipped kitchen leaves little to be desired. From the house you can start directly into the well-signposted cycle path network. We will be very happy to come back.

Rest and recreation
This is the fourth time we have stayed in the blue house and we have already booked again! We feel very comfortable there and very well looked after by the hosts. With our own sauna, we are not dependent on the weather and have everything we need for a relaxing holiday.
The surroundings are very varied and offer many opportunities for beautiful excursions.

Dream vacation
It's been a few days now, but we had fantastic vacation days at the Blue House. The house is very cozy and fully furnished, nothing is missing. With great attention to detail, it radiates so much warmth that you immediately feel comfortable. The conservatory, the terrace, and the beautiful garden invite you to linger and enjoy. The nice welcome with homemade jam and drinks, as well as the friendly advice and supply of cakes, were simply great. The surrounding area offers a lot to discover, there is something for every taste. We found the time so beautiful that we will gladly come back.

Holiday home at Altmühlsee. "Blue House"
Arrive, feel comfortable. Super friendly hosts. Good for walks and hikes from the house, but also to explore the beautiful surroundings by car. Slow down on the bird island. Vacation for body and soul, we enjoy culture again in Berlin!
