If the tenant withdraws from the contract or does not occupy the rental property, appropriate compensation for loss of rent must be paid. If you don't feel like reading a lot, here's the summary:

Detailed review:
Dorum Neufeld is our favorite place, where we can always reset our minds and bodies.
And we desperately needed a break. From Friday afternoon to Monday morning was the only spontaneous option we had decided on Thursday evening.
So... Checked in to see who has availability "from tomorrow" in the high season and contacted/inquired. Ms. ter Jung immediately called back, a warm and friendly contact was established, and everything was already arranged for the following day. . . ,?
Four adults, two dogs.
Picking up the keys at a later hour is no problem with Cuxland.
The house was super clean and: very cozy. And yet practical and easy to maintain to quickly achieve the "broom-clean level." Dishes and co are not a "jumbled assortment" as often found in other vacation homes, but lovingly and thoughtfully selected.
Two toilets, two bedrooms with very good mattresses on the beds, modern kitchen, absolutely cozy living room, beautiful well-stocked terrace, the latter not visible.
Robust yet pretty and "warm" floors, washing machine, in the middle of everything and still the house stands alone... I give it 10 out of 10 points.
11 out of 10 points! it would be if the terrace and garden were fenced in. . . But training my dog is probably really my problem . . .

Beautiful house
We stayed in this holiday home for a few days in May and we were simply thrilled. The house is much more beautiful than it appears in the photos. It was really comfortably furnished and had everything needed for a vacation (we especially appreciated the washing machine). We highly recommend it for a holiday with a toddler. The sockets are mostly secured, everything necessary for the little one is there (baby cot, high chair, kettle for baby food), and the size of the house is just right so that you can sit downstairs quietly even without a baby monitor while the baby sleeps in the crib on the first floor since you can hear it for sure.
We immediately felt at home and it was a great feeling to return to the house after a long day out and end the evening on the terrace or on the comfortable sofas.
I would also like to mention positively that the house is only a stone's throw away from the sea. There are also a few shops and restaurants within walking distance, and with the car, you can reach larger supermarkets and drugstores in a few minutes. We also used the car to visit the surrounding cities (Cuxhaven, Wilhelmshaven, Bremerhaven) and it was very quick and convenient.
All in all, a great holiday, which worked out despite being booked spontaneously (Mrs. Ter Jung was very helpful and made an effort to make the holiday possible despite booking on a weekend and contacting her on a holiday). We can only recommend it and will definitely come back in the future and stay for a longer time.
