This cute, traditional cottage features wooden floors and a wood burning stove. It is furnished in a charming, traditional style and features a newly-renovated kitchen with a dishwasher. Here you can have it all: the comforts of modern times combined with the charm of the past. There are two bedrooms, one has a double bed, the other has two single beds. The bathroom features a WC, a washbasin, and a shower. Lake Bunn is only 150 metres from your doorstep. Why not try your hand at fishing? If you want to rent a motor for the boat, the motor is 4 HK and includes 10 liters of special fuel, buy more fuel directly from the landlord if needed. You have access to three lakes that can go by boat to, Bunn, Ören and Kvarnsjöarna. You can read more about fishing at bunnfiske.se. The area offers a lot of activities and sights. Admire the scenic landscape with it's lovely walking paths. This is a place that offers something for everyone. The picturesque town of Gränna is a must-see, offering charming little shops and restaurants. Gränna is known for it's stripy, hard candy canes, “Polkagrisar”.You can visit the little factory and see how they are made. Why not take a day trip to the charming island of Visingsö? There you can take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage all around the island. Or why not book a hot air balloon and see the area from high above? There are other great attractions within driving distance. Kolmårdens nature reserve and zoo is about 1 hour and 45 minutes away by car. Vimmerby is also about 1 hour and 45 minutes away. The children will really enjoy Astrid Lindgren's World which is located in Vimmerby. Katthult and Bullerbyn, well known from Astrid Lindgren's beloved children's books, are also close. Or why not take a daytrip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the olden days? Welcome to wonderful Gränna!

The house is beautifully situated in a group of Swedish red sheds and cabins, old oaks, and glacial monoliths. In the house, you feel at home from the very first minute; the interior is mostly antique and very beautiful. The kitchen offers everything you need as a self-caterer. The only thing we missed was a washing machine, which is probably due to space reasons (you can wash for a fee at the campsite in Gränna). / The private bathing area by the lake is a dream, it's a 2-minute walk there. / The renting couple is very nice and helpful (she speaks perfect German) and remains discreetly in the background. Recommendations: Of course, a trip to the island of Visingsö is worthwhile, as well as to Eksjö (old wooden town), we also spent 2 days in Stockholm. A hike in the Omberg Nature Park, north of Ödeshög, is very beautiful. The surroundings are suitable for cycling tours if one is willing to accept the occasional incline.
