The cottage itself was not bad, but everything is a bit outdated. Simple furnishings with a sofa that is not really comfortable. The bed was okay. The kitchen is also very basic but sufficient for what you need on a holiday. The unique selling point of this house is the spacious garden with a large terrace, and the location: not far from the sea. You can't see the sea very well from the cottage, except if you stand in one spot in the garden, then you can catch a glimpse of it. At the back of the cottage, there is a beautiful view of the rolling landscape with waving grain fields. The biggest downside of this vacation was that the Wi-Fi did not work. We arrived on Saturday evening, and we were unfortunate that it was Pentecost, so from the moment of arrival until Tuesday morning, we could not reach the DanCenter. Finally, on Tuesday morning, we drove to the DanCenter in Ebeltoft: they would inquire with the owner and get back to us. Heard nothing more. Called two more times and each time it was said that the owner was not available. There was one helpful young man who asked us to send photos of the modem, because the Wi-Fi light simply did not turn on, even after resetting. Never heard anything back. Normally, we wouldn't make such a fuss about this, but this was a working holiday for us, and working is quite difficult without Wi-Fi.

The entire house was super clean and the furnishings, garden, and surroundings are perfect! Everything one wishes for in a holiday home was available, tastefully and very practically furnished and equipped. Very quiet, close to the Baltic Sea, restaurants and shopping options not far away by car. Many opportunities for leisure activities nearby accessible by car.

We had a great time here! The house was clean, well-organized, and had everything we needed. The proximity to Fuglsø Skov was a nice bonus that gave us easy access to nature hikes. Would recommend it for families looking for a quiet retreat.
