The sauna was a nice addition, even though we didn't use it as often as we wanted. The view from the terrace is breathtaking, perfect for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. Positives: / The great view, / The house was very centrally located, you could quickly get to the bakery/kiosk, the beach, some restaurants in the area, canoe/pedal boat rental, as well as bike rental and mini golf course, the city center with the shopping centers were also 5-10 minutes away by car, / The kitchen was very easy to use, / There are enough cupboards for clothes in the rooms, / Most of the everyday utensils were available, / The outside area of the house was looked after regularly, / A previously broken lounger was quickly replaced after a complaint, / The garbage cans were taken care of, / / Negatives: / The furniture was partly worn, many signs of wear and tear were visible, the bathroom was run-of-the-mill and in no way Luxurious, washing machine/dryer is one appliance, dryer takes 4h15min for one wash, the solar bench was hanging over a bed, which was impractical and took up space, protective goggles were not available, the outdoor loungers were unusable because they were very cheap and should be used with caution, there was a swallow's nest on the terrace, whereby the swallows contaminated the whole terrace and furniture outside, unfortunately there was no jetty and access to the lake was therefore difficult, the roofing of the terrace is better solved in other houses when the weather was bad (rain), / Counting and checking the inventory of the house was annoying,

Positives: / The great view. / The house was very central. One could quickly get to the bakery/kiosk, the beach, several restaurants in the area, canoe/pedal boat rental, as well as bike rental and mini-golf course. The city center with the shopping centers was also reachable in 5-10 minutes by car. / The kitchen was very usable. / There are enough cabinets for clothes in the rooms. / Most everyday utensils were available. / The outdoor area of the house was regularly maintained. / A previously broken lounge chair was quickly replaced after a complaint. / The garbage bins were taken care of. / / Negatives: / The furniture was partly worn out, with many signs of use visible. The bathroom was standard and in no way luxurious. The washer/dryer is one unit. The dryer takes 4h15min for one load of laundry. The solar bank was hanging over a bed, which was impractical and took up space. Safety glasses were not available. The outdoor loungers were unusable as they were very cheap and should be used with caution. There was a swallow's nest on the terrace, causing the swallows to dirty the entire terrace and outdoor furniture. Unfortunately, there was no boat dock, making access to the lake difficult. The roofing of the terrace is better designed in other houses when there was bad weather (rain). The counting and checking of the house's inventory was annoying.

We lived here with our family and it was simply beautiful. The open kitchen and living area made it spacious and inviting. The sauna was a nice addition, even though we didn't use it as often as we wanted. The view from the terrace is breathtaking, perfect for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. Would definitely recommend it!

The incomparable view of the lake is unique and always rewarding. / Since there is only one bathroom, it is best to stay there with family. / Otherwise, the house is tastefully furnished and equipped with everything one needs. / We as a family would book again.

The location, the canoe included. Very nicely furnished, spacious living area with relaxation loungers, cooking island in the kitchen / The bedrooms were unfortunately tiny, so we would not recommend arriving with the stated 6 people.

The house was spacious and beautifully located by the water. With a sauna and whirlpool, the house is optimal in any weather. The distance to the dyke and to the town of Otterndorf/Cuxhaven is ideal by car/bike. Just a few minutes to the dyke on foot. The equipment, whether appliances (toaster, oven, washing machine) or utensils in the kitchen, was very helpful. And optimal for self-catering.

This holiday home is a gem! The design is charming and very much in line with Danish architecture. It felt cozy, with the wood stove providing warmth on cooler evenings. The sauna was a hit with everyone, and we loved taking the canoe on the lake. Definitely planning to return!
