This holiday cottage is perfect for enthusiasts of the great outdoors, eager to get away from the stress and traffic jams of everyday life. This cozy cottage sits in calm surroundings at an altitude of 260 metres. Beautiful view of fields and forests and plenty of space for children to play. Great hiking terrain and trails that will take you up to mountain lakes. It is approx. 3 km to the fjord. There is a 90 litre freezer in the kitchen. The charming interiors consists of a mixture of antiques and and newer furniture. Comfortable sofa bed in the living room. Apple TV, Netflix and TV channels via streaming. Kitchen from 2016. The double bed can be split into two beds, and the single beds put together to a double bed. There is a lot of berries in the area. You can go hiking with a guide and horseback riding for children and adults is available in Åkra.

Clean, cozy, and lovingly furnished, friendly hosts - everything went smoothly. However, one should definitely bring drinking water as part of the basic equipment. You can sit and have breakfast wonderfully on the terrace, relax in front of the stove. The location is very nice with friendly neighbors (sheep 🐑), secluded and quiet. Dogs are welcome and the landscape of the region is very beautiful.

This holiday home was beautiful for us. / It has a history. / The interior has an old character. / There is an old wood stove to heat the house, but there is also electric heating. / In short, despite everything looking old, everything is present. / There is one downside, and that is why I give it a four. / The water was brown. / It is probably natural water coming from the mountains. We did cook food and showered with it. / But we also got water to drink at the local supermarket. / And we noticed that the cottage was for 6 people. / Then you expect 6 sleeping places. / We only found 5 beds. / Outside there is silence and peace. / There is also absolutely no traffic or air traffic to be heard. / Only what you occasionally hear are their sheep grazing on their estate. / We are nature people, so we found that beautiful. / I even had to chase them off our property once because they came onto our land via the rocks. / We find that beautiful. / For someone who does not appreciate that, they should not go there.
