Holiday in a dream house

We spent 10 days in this beautiful house. The contact with the landlady was very positive from the first day of booking
The house is even more beautiful than on the pictures. Nothing was glossed over.
The house has everything you need. Crockery, glasses etc. everything in abundance.
The cleanliness is really top. When you look at all the decoration, you hardly believe that everything is clean here. You have to see it. Silver candlesticks everywhere, chandeliers everywhere, even at the bar. Really a beautiful house with lovely furnishings.
Now to our holiday. Unfortunately, we had almost only bad weather. We could hardly use the beautiful garden. Moreover, we had planned this holiday with a dog. Unfortunately, we had to arrive without a dog. It would have been a dream holiday with a dog. Forest and lake in the immediate vicinity
Conclusion: An absolute dream house. If you are looking for peace and quiet and perhaps also have a furry nose in your luggage.

Switch off, relax and enjoy

my wife and I have already stayed at the Konefal family's holiday home 5 times. It is not without reason that we keep coming back. The house is located close to the lake, there are playgrounds for children, and the newly built fireplace in the garden provides additional cosiness (apart from the house itself). The existing terrace was extended by a sunbathing area, which can be equipped with a sun sail, and a bar with barbecue facilities. The overall appearance of the house is almost pompous, the bathroom has a bathtub embedded in the floor, the floor, wall panelling with indirect lighting, a large fireplace and the entire furnishings are perfectly coordinated. You just feel at home, switch off and enjoy. Various possibilities for excursions such as Gdansk, the Baltic Sea, markets, etc. are available and can be recommended. In nearby Czluchow you will find all the shopping and restaurant facilities. Highly recommended!

Dream holiday at its best

We had a wonderful winter holiday in Poland in this beautiful house with lots of space, beautiful furnishings and above all cleanliness shines the holiday home.

Sehr schönes Haus

Our vacation was very nice, although we had some small issues in the beginning due to the storm at the location, but it was not the end of the world. The landlady is very, very nice and was always available for us, always helped us when we had a concern! Beautiful restaurants were recommended to us, and places where we could do things like go to a spa hotel, which was absolutely great. The house is super stylishly furnished, everything was very clean, we would recommend the house anytime. Thank you for the lovely stay.

A very beautiful vacation

We arrived in the early evening and immediately felt comfortable. We did a lot because the location was great, so it was no problem. The facilities were great and everything was clean. We felt very comfortable and will book again. Great, very friendly hosts.

Beautiful holiday home with a great location.

We had 8 great days in the holiday house. There was nothing missing, we went fishing, swimming, boating, etc. The holiday house itself was very nice, it stayed nice and cool inside when it was hot, and in the evenings, you could sit outside for a long time and enjoy the evening with a cool beer. The landlords are very friendly and respond immediately to inquiries.

Large and beautiful holiday home with deficiencies in cleanliness and need of repair

We spent the time from 30.10.2017 to 03.11.2017 there as a family with two children. It is difficult to draw a coherent conclusion for the domicile.

POSITIVE
- large holiday home with lots of space
- luxuriant furnishings
- beautiful location away from the city on the lake
- large garden with nice terrace

NEGATIVE
- lack of cleanliness
- delayed repairs
- Equipment partly outdated and defective
- installations partly loveless or unfinished

The positive points speak for themselves, here the description of the accommodation does not exaggerate. As for the negative points, it was mainly the very dirty overall condition that made us feel uncomfortable. Thick layers of dust everywhere, visible woolly mice in the corners, linty high-pile carpets, calcified fittings and washbasins, a greasy ceramic hob, mouse droppings under the sofa, long black hairs on the sofa and in the bath, spoilt food in the fridge, half-full wine bottles, and a distinct cigarette smell. Some of the protracted repairs are merely incomprehensible blemishes (wobbly floor tiles, defective lamps, cracks in the plaster), while others are sources of danger for children (loose cables, sockets hanging out of the wall, sharp metal edges on the counter). In addition, the otherwise good and upscale overall impression is always marred in some places by unfinished or loveless installations (open dowels in the shower, roughly spackled holes in the walls, untrimmed wooden edges)

Overall, the accommodation is just a bit outdated, there is a lack of continuous maintenance, and existing repairs are left undone. In addition, the cleaning doesn't really seem to work. At 49 euros per night, we would have been happy to spend another 30 euros for a thorough final cleaning - if we had received the house clean in return.

Super nice holiday home and extremely nice landlords

We had a very nice holiday with our 2 children.
The holiday home corresponds to the pictures. The furnishings and the details in the decoration invite you to feel good. We missed absolutely nothing. A large property around the house where we had many mushrooms
The house is in the middle of nature. The lake is 5 minutes away on foot. There you can swim, fish and do water sports. For children, of course, there is a playground right by the lake
In Schlochau there are several shopping possibilities as well as possibilities to go out for a meal

The larger towns are easy to reach by car and there are many sights to see. We can recommend Gdansk, Bydgoszcz and Marienburg. But also the shifting sand dunes and the Baltic Sea beach in Leba
Near Schlochau there is the river Wyda which is wonderful for canoeing. A very natural, wide river with a great fun factor. ...
We can only report positive things, every day was wonderful and very relaxing
We thank the landlords for letting us spend our holiday there. We would go there again at any time.

Beautiful house in a quiet location on the outskirts of the city

We spent a nice holiday week in the holiday home with our dog. The house corresponds to the pictures in terms of comfort and furnishings. The location is very quiet and close to a forest and a lake. Beautiful destinations are about 1.5 - 2 hours away by car. The village offers several shopping facilities that make self-catering easier

The arrangements with the landlords were prompt and smooth

Beautiful house with some flaws

- Some light effects no longer working
- Defective light at the house entrance
- Shower cabin doors not properly secure
- Bedroom quite small
- Kitchenette could use some reworking
- Good shopping options even on Sundays
- Very good food at Canpol rest stop - also inexpensive
- Lots of forest, 5 minutes to the lake
- Gdansk and Malbork can be reached in about 2.5 hours

Holiday from the beginning on

From the 4th Sangerhausen, Paul and Willi (dogs)
We felt very comfortable from the first to the last day.
Everything was perfect... as they say...
Weather, lake, and the surroundings were great.
But we have to say, going out to eat was always a challenge. Since very little German is spoken. But with hands and feet, it works. It was always exciting and funny.
We really liked it in any case.

Quiet, practical, good!

A friendly hello to EVERYONE ;-)

My wife and I were in Czluchow over the weekend. A friendly, easy-to-navigate small town in the heart of Poland. The house is right by the lake and has a fenced plot. It was a paradise for our dog. Just open the door and off you go :-) The holiday home is very cozy and superbly furnished. It lacks nothing. Everything worked and met our expectations almost 100%. As an internet enthusiast, I really missed a wireless LAN connection. But that's not a problem either. In the city center of Czluchow, there is a nice internet cafe. Friendly staff and fair prices. I could even connect my notebook.

A vacation we did not imagine like this!

Hello, we booked the house from 30.07 - 07.08.2011, before we arrived everything went very smoothly - contact with the landlords, etc. The journey started... first, we spent 7 wonderful days in Gdansk, which we were very happy about afterwards! During these 7 days, we didn't see the sun once and had to walk through the city practically in winter gear - we were glad that at least we had a great WARM hotel with heating that was not turned off! These 7 days also passed quickly, and every day we were told that the weather would be good tomorrow, and we were very excited about the house, as it totally meets our needs! About 2 hours and we were there, but unfortunately, we passed by about 3 times because we were looking for a holiday area with a beautiful forest, a nice gate that can be locked, and the hotel that should be next to it. At some point, we found the hotel, if you can call it that, totally run down and musty - terrible! And a few meters further we see a gate, which certainly no longer fulfills the function of a gate really. One can hardly dare to drive through this gate, no proper paths. What a shame for the car! On the way to the house, we encounter garbage bags on the left side that smell awful and of course attract animals. Three more "houses" are there, which don't really look nice, but our house, according to the description, should be a dream in such a terrible environment. The last bump was overcome and we see the house, simply built without "love", no path leading to the front door, the terrace is not nice either. The town of Czluchow is really very modern or new and the house should not have been placed there! We open the door and it is true, the house looks exactly like the photos from the inside. The shutters were already down and stayed that way the 2 days we spent there. Since the view is really not nice. The house is very well equipped, meaning dishes and so on. Unfortunately, the landlords thought it must be very hot in Poland in the summer, so the house was extremely cold and damp! We tried to turn on the heating, but it was off! My friend wanted to take a shower to warm up - bad luck, because the water was cold! The first night was over, with consequences... I ended up with a kidney infection, fever over 40°C, chills, vomiting, etc. and the house was still freezing cold, with an outside temperature of 9° (in the evening) it is probably normal to ask for heating! Most of the time we spent in the house trying to get the heating and water warm. A friend of the landlord came to help us and turned on the heating - in vain! It was off!!! We heated the water ourselves! And thank god there was still a fireplace that could warm us up for now. Due to my illness, I had no choice but to leave this cold and damp house and return to the warm homeland! It should be mentioned that we contacted the landlord regarding the water issue and he simply said "that his wife had cleaned up and had hot water before" - it's strange that the landlady left us the mosquitoes and a bathroom full of strange insects. Before we could use anything in the bathroom, we had to remove these disgusting insects that were spread all over the bathroom in large numbers. And the shelf by the couch, that could really use a dusting! Since we only stayed in the house for 2 out of 8 days, we naturally got our deposit back and €40 (8x(2x2.50€)), of course, because we didn't use electricity or water for 6 days, so out of good will, the landlords reimbursed us €10, meaning we didn't pay for electricity and water for 2 days, which is really very kind - I thank them VERY much for that!!!!!! I raved about the house a lot before our vacation and promised great photos to everyone, etc. That's all gone south, just like our vacation...I call it the cold and damp holiday with consequences...consequences were a hospital stay and 2 weeks flat on my back!
I hope you don't forget to turn on the heating and water in winter!

Vicinity of the holiday home: Schrecklich, es wird viel verschönert.. ich habe weder Pilze noch Heidelbeeren gesehen. Schlechte Wege, die entweder die Beine oder das Auto schrotten!Die Stadt Czluchow dagegen ist wirklich schön, neu, sauber!

shopping facilities: Dazu können wir nichts sagen, aufgrund der krankheit konnten wir nur Apotheken besuchen, die sind gut!

Das Haus mit Charme

We were able to spend a wonderful holiday in this house. The landlords are very friendly and helpful. As everyone has already written, we can also confirm that the pictures do not lie. When you enter the house, the brightness is simply overwhelming.
The equipment can also be praised by us. In the kitchen, all appliances needed for daily use were available. For all television junkies. . . yes. . . There is German television and you don't have to miss your favorite series.
The car can be parked right in front of the house.
In general, we can only say that we would come back again and again.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Czluchow ist ein romanisches kleines Städtchen, dass zu Spaziergängen einläd. Der große See besticht durch eine Vielzahl kleiner Badestellen, an denen man ohne weiteres ungestört sein kann.

free time activities: Wir würden die Besichtigung von Burgen empfehlen, die in der Umgebung zahlreich vorhanden sind. Auch Danzig und Gdynia muss man gesehen haben.

shopping facilities: Einkaufen kann man direkt im Ort. Man erreicht diese innerhalb von ein paar Minuten .

Pure luxury!!!

It was a quiet relaxing holiday. The house is really beautiful and looks exactly like the photos. Everything in the house is new. It was all clean and well-maintained. Only the garden still needs to be done. All technical devices worked. If you want to be pedantic, the TV could be a bit bigger.
We paid only €39 per day for the entire house in December. So, the holiday home is affordable.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Das Haus liegt direkt am See(ca. 150m). Dort gibt es eine kleine Brücke. Im Sommer kann man dort baden. Zu einem echten Strand muss man ca. 0,5 km laufen. Ein Fahrradweg befindet sich ca. 300m vom Haus entfernt.

free time activities: Wir waren im Dezember da und wollten unsere Ruhe haben. Es gibt aber in der Nähe des Hauses einen Strand, Fahrradweg und Wald.

shopping facilities: Große Lebensmittelgeschäfte befinden sich ca. 2 km vom Haus entfernt.

Zum Relaxen

We had an amazing time in this house and its surroundings! The house itself is modern and stylishly furnished, with all the extras you could wish for. The fireplace is a bit complicated to clean, but it's done in about twenty minutes. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not functional and the TV was a bit small. These are the only things that stood out to us negatively, but they will certainly not prevent us from having another wonderful vacation there. The landlords were absolutely super friendly and very flexible.

Zum shoppen haben wir da jetzt leider nichts rentables gefunden.

House in summer

I was with a few friends in August 2009 for 8 days in the house and was impressed from the start. The small town shines in a gentle atmosphere and the house makes a good impression in every way. The pictures do not deceive, everything really looks like that! Of course, there were also points of criticism about the house itself; small tasks could have been better aligned, such as an unfinished balcony, and the garden could have been better maintained. All in all, these are minor things that one easily overlooks. The landlords are very friendly and ensure – as far as possible – a pleasant stay. Great is the connection to the large lake. If one is tired of the idyllic small town, you can consider taking a day trip, for example to Gdansk/Danzig, within 2 hours by car - which we did and were very pleased. The built-in alarm system is also great. The decor is very bright and friendly, and the large terrace is perfect for grill evenings. I/We will come back!

Vicinity of the holiday home: Für Großstadtmenschen eine nette Abwechslung zum Entspannen, man hat allerdings auch die Möglcihkeit in naheliegende andere kleine Örtlichkeiten mit sehr schönen Marktplätzen zu fahren. Für den Sommer ist die Lage des Hauses super, viel Grün und Wasser !

free time activities: Tretbootfahren, Schwimmen, das alte Stadtschloss und ihr Burgfest - nicht so viel "Action" wie in Berlin, aber viel Entspannung, was durchaus auch sehr positiv ist.

shopping facilities: Lebensmittel, Post, Bank und Tankstation alles in kürzester Zeit zu erreichen - Daumen hoch !

Super schöner Urlaub

We really spent 14 great and peaceful days there. The garden is nice and big, and you have peace and quiet. Just great to really relax. The house is stylishly furnished and cozy. However, for our next vacation in this house, which we will definitely do, I would like the hot tub to work. Otherwise, everything was great. And the value for money is also really great! We can really only recommend it to anyone who just wants to relax.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Die Umgebung ist super, sehr ruhig und man kann eine Menge Natur geniessen. Auch an dem nahegelegenem See kann man es sich gut gehen lassen und sich an wärmeren Tagen abkühlen.

shopping facilities: Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in den kleinen Ort Chzluchow sind sehr gut, man bekommt dort in verschiedenen Läden alles was man für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt.
