(Unfortunately, all the beds are really too narrow. Some towels could be renewed.) Anytime gladly again - we enjoyed it very much!!!

Without knowing for sure, we assume that we were the first holiday guests in this enchanting holiday home. We lacked for nothing. The service on-site was super friendly, very eager to fulfill our wishes in a Cretan manner. The house is located as described in a particularly pleasant location with a far-reaching view towards the Libyan Sea. Grilling in the well-kept garden, the pool almost daily invited us to swim in it and was very thoroughly maintained. We look forward to spending a few beautiful and quiet days in the magnificent residence again next year with our friends who accompanied us.

Wir haben 5 Wohnungen gebucht, weil wir so viele waren. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, alles ist wie beschrieben und der Pool ist sogar größer, als er auf den Fotos aussieht. Gute Sauberkeit und absolut zufriedenstellende Räume. Die Strände sind wirklich nah, es dauert 5/10 Minuten mit dem Auto, um sie zu erreichen Das einzige Problem ist, dass das Haus ein wenig isoliert ist, aber ich denke, es ist klar, wenn man bucht. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer naturverbundenen, tourismusarmen, ruhigen Region. Der Pool ist super, groß genug. Von den anderen Gästen auf der Anlage kriegt man wenig mit. Es erfolgt eine ständige Pflege der Anlage (Poolreinigung etc.). Die Unterkunft ist spärlich ausgestattet (kein Salz, Öl etc. da), aber entspricht den Angaben. In einem Schlafzimmer hört man viele Geräusche, wenn Gäste im oberen Appartement sind, was zeitweise störend war. Man muss sich darauf einstellen, dass der nächste Supermarkt 15-20 Minuten entfernt ist und auch sonst nicht viel - außer die Natur - erlebt werden kann. Wer also komplette Ruhe sucht, ist hier wirklich richtig. Die Strände sind 2km entfernt - insbesondere der kleine Triopetra Strand mit der Taverna Vasilis hat es uns sehr angetan. Es war wirklich eine wunderschöne Zeit.

We had a great holiday with our children in Triopetra. Great coast! Just a lot of driving for further excursions until reaching the main road. The local manager is super nice and takes excellent care of everything. We would go back again - our children already want to return just for the pool and the "little bay"!

The small house for 2 people is more spacious than the photos suggest, the kitchen is perfectly equipped, the garden and pool are wonderfully maintained. We would like to come back again.

This review is related to apartment 3. Regarding cleanliness and location, there is only positive feedback. Also, the design of the houses and the overall complex is very well done, with some drawbacks in terms of functionality. For example, there are no windows in the living kitchen (a glazed entrance door would be very helpful here) as well as in the bathroom of the upper bedroom. The internet serves its purpose but is not always stable. It would be helpful to provide a note before arrival that - as is often the case in Crete - the key is in the door upon arrival and contacting the landlord is not necessary. Nevertheless, we felt very comfortable. The location and the landscape/beaches are unique. Highly recommended are, apart from Triopetra Beach, trips to Agios Pavlos/Sleepy Dragon (snorkeling in the head of the dragon is a pleasure in calm seas; the tavern is also recommended) and the neighboring Sandy Hill Beach, as well as to Amoudi Beach and Skinaria Beach. An outstanding tavern (with a focus on the food and not the service) can be found in Spili: Maria & Costa.

The location is very quiet and the houses are pretty nice. In the distance of 1.5 km, there is a nice and empty beach with nice taverns. In my opinion, the houses (kitchens) could be better equipped. There is a shortage of kitchen utensils for food preparation. The closest market is in Spili, which is 18 km away, but if you go on excursions, you will find many small or bigger markets on the way that are open until night. If you arrive at Petra Mare, it is very likely that nobody will wait for you, so you should just look for your house on your own (one of those with keys in the doors). A car is necessary there. Anyway, the place is worth visiting.

We were at house 2 of the complex at the end of June / beginning of July.
The house is really top: good and relatively new equipment, sufficient space, fantastic sea view.
Only point of criticism: we initially had no satellite TV reception, then almost only Arabic or Polish channels, which was somewhat disappointing during the World Cup.
The very friendly and helpful son of the landlord was dependent on a technician from Heraklion, who did not show up... The entire facility is very well-maintained, the beautiful pool is cleaned regularly. We also really liked the location. The great, very spacious and yet not very crowded beach of Triopetra with a nice tavern and a pleasant beach bar is only 1km away. Shopping can be done in Spili (about a 25-minute drive). However, it can sometimes get quite windy. The north wind Vorias blows particularly strong in the area around Plakias, as we experienced on two days (including broken branches and power outages). Overall, we felt very comfortable, could relax wonderfully, and can highly recommend the facility for this purpose.

This apartment is also very suitable for a 2-month stay. The rooms and the overall facility are much larger than one would expect from the internet photos. Especially the well-equipped kitchen allows for self-catering if you don't feel like going to the tavern. The care provided by the landlord (son) is extremely friendly and helpful. This accommodation is highly recommended for those seeking peace and quiet and for travelers with a car.

We stayed in this great facility from mid to late June. It was not oversold at all. Everything was exactly as described in the catalog and on the website. The large apartments are very well equipped, with ample space for 4 people. The only thing missing is a wardrobe in the lower sleeping area, but we managed with a few chairs and the TV shelf. It was quickly repurposed. The pool and the entire facility are very well maintained. The manager (a very kind, polite Greek young man, unfortunately I forgot his name) is completely uncomplicated and takes care of the guests' needs lovingly. He even gives a can of cola when you go to refuel at his "day job" at the gas station in Akoumia ;-). Triopetra Beach is a dream for anyone who likes large, long beaches where people don't line up like sardines. On a width of more than a kilometer, very few people cavorted. The crystal-clear water, the clean beach invite you to swim. If you want to eat or drink, you can just pop into Antonis' tavern Apothiki and we are always greeted very nicely. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable. All in all, it was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had. Definitely an address you would love to come back to. Highly recommended!!!

Logement conforme à la description. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la personne sur place. L'hôte a été arrangeant pour l'arrivée car nous sommes arrivés de nuit. Logement très propre. We spent 2 very nice weeks in the dreamy area of Triopetra. The houses of Petra Mare are located very nicely not very far from the wonderful Triopetra beach. Apartment No. 5 and 6 are in the front standalone house and are simple and well-equipped. The back 2 double houses are more beautiful and have more sheltered and partly larger terraces. However, one can also spend the evenings very nicely in the garden by the pool. Anyone traveling to this area should be aware that there can be very strong winds at times here (as in many regions of Crete). We had 5 days of a storm and during that time, we came to appreciate the more sheltered bay of Agios Pavlos. The manager, Babis, is very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the lovely time! Beautiful and very peaceful location with a view of the sea! Romantic garden. Very nice, uncomplicated landlord! Comfortable beds...however, only 1.40m wide! In case of bad weather, there would be no cozy common room in the house since the living kitchen has no windows. Dreamy beach with great taverns. Very small, authentic shop nearby. We would love to come back!

The holiday home is located in a beautiful location in the small village of Triopetra on the south coast of Crete. We had a very relaxing holiday here. The landlord takes very good care of the property, and small problems are promptly resolved. So, if you are looking for peace and a beautiful, well-equipped house, this is the perfect place for you. In the area, there are 5 taverns and a mini-market. For slightly larger shopping trips, you can drive approximately 25 minutes to Spili. We enjoyed it so much that we would like to go there again.

Nice location, with a wonderful view. Spectacular beaches nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at Petramate very much. More kitchen utensils and basics would have been welcome.
