Location and surroundings of object
The apartment is located in the middle of nature in a country house in a secluded location with 12 hectares of land.
Beautiful hiking and biking trails in unspoiled nature with many lakes border directly on the property. It is on a hike more likely to encounter animals than people.
The nearest hamlet (La Mer) is km away and the nearest village (Faucogney) 4 km. In Faucogney there are: tourist office, pharmacy, doctor, bakery, butcher, German beer shop, small shop, post office, cash dispenser, restaurant, car garage, church etc. In summer there is a market with local products every Saturday from 16h - 20h in the pretty historic town of Faucogney.
In Mélisey (10 km) there is a large Belgian supermarket (COLRUYT) with a nice vegetable department and fresh meat sale. Also various other shops like bakery, pharmacy, butcher, flower shop, café are located in the small town of Mélisey which is situated on the river Ognon. There are also several restaurants in Mélisey. Not far from Mélisey there is a very nice swimming pool with a slide for the children. You can also enjoy yourself at the nearby river.
On Wednesday morning there is market in Mélisey.
In about 30 minutes by car you can reach the beautiful little town of Luxeuil-Les-Bains where there is a thermal bath and various restaurants invite you to dine. In summer there is an evening market with regional products, music etc.

Faucogney-et-La Mer is located at the foot of the Saon Vosges mountains in the Milles Etangs region (region of 1000 ponds). It belongs to the Bourgogne et Franche Comté region and is located in the Haute Saône. Bicycles (also e-bikes) can be rented at the tourist office in Faucogney as well as in Mélisey.
You could write a lot more but the best thing is to come and see our natural paradise for yourself! Here the nature is still intact. Foxes, wild rabbits, deer, roe deer, badgers, wild boars, squirrels, grey and great white egrets, wild ducks - all this can be observed in the region.

This is where souls like to dangle! Peace and space with pond, meadows, forests and hiking trails
A beautifully landscaped area with a small pond, with meadows, deck chairs, seating in the shade and fireplaces offers space for rest and various outdoor activities directly on the grounds. Numerous hikes can also be undertaken from there (marked circular hiking trails - for those further away you need a car or bicycles). The flat is lovingly furnished and very well maintained. The owners/landlords are friendly and helpful and are happy when other people can enjoy what they have created on this extensive property with horses, goats, cats and a nice dog. If you are looking for peace and quiet, close to nature and a lot of space around you, you will feel very comfortable there!

House by the lake
We had the pleasure of being Denise and Urs' guests for a week in August 21. What a beautiful spot on earth. A lovingly designed and maintained small (well, it's not that small) estate, with its own bathing lake (you get a free moor bath :)). While exploring, you will meet several cats-Maxli liked to visit us, the dog Trixi- the faithful companion of Urs and Denise, who likes to come over for cuddles, the horses Tharanis, Midway, Nissan and Nina and the three goats. The Stadelmann turtle also lives there, with a bit of luck you can find it. We stayed in the apartment Douglas fir and had everything we needed. Free water bottles were provided and the chocolate and chips tasted great. I would also like to mention the bread and roll service from the local baker, I just say delicious. The beds were great, everything was very clean, cosy and decorated with little lovely details. There were four of us with two teenage girls. And yes, it is possible for four of us to get along in one big room. The bed cave is super cosy. The hosts are two wonderful people who have their hearts in the right place. Always with a smile on their face, not pushy, but always on hand when we had questions and could fall back on their insider knowledge. We felt completely at ease and will have wonderful, positive memories of our time with Denise and Urs. Kind regards from K., J., S., F.

Idyll close to animals and nature
The new flat Douglas fir is furnished very lovingly and to a high standard. You can definitely feel at home here and the beds are also very comfortable. The farm is in a fantastically quiet location by the forest and above a small bathing lake. The owners are very friendly and open-minded and let you share their life and work with the animals. They were also great at involving our children, so it was a paradise of peace, animals and nature for all of us.

Peace, beautiful nature, great hosts - pure relaxation!
A beautiful place in the middle of a nature reserve, particularly quiet and ideally suited as a starting point for cycling and hiking. A paradise to stay and be active. Denise and Urs are great hosts, thank you again for the wonderful days.
