Our holiday home is located on a fenced plot of land at about 400 m from the sea, near a pine forest.
The vehicle can be parked on the property.
In front of the kitchen there is a terrace facing east (morning sun)
At the living room there is a terrace to the west towards the sea.
They are equipped with garden furniture. A grill is also available.
The typical Medoc house is completely and comfortably furnished.

The holiday home is located about 80 km northwest of Bordeaux, in Montalivet, on the Atlantic coast of southern France. One calls this part of France the "Haut-Medoc".
Montalivet offers approx. 12 km of beach, approx. 40 km of hiking trails and approx. 30 km of far cycle paths. Montalivet consists of approx. 750 single-family houses - you will search in vain for high-rise buildings. Montalivet is a health resort. You can get spa treatments and thalassotherapy in nearby Euronat. The wide, fine sandy beach is about 400 m away, bicycle paths are 100 m away. You can reach the village centre in about 2 minutes on foot.
Montalivet is well known for its unique daily market. Here you can find in season wonderful wines, fresh oysters, fish, seafood, extensive cheese stands and much more.

Between sea and market
We stayed at Villa Marjolaine in the summer of 2022. We have been to the area many times, but never directly to Montalivet itself.
The facilities were as described, we had everything we needed. It was especially nice to be close to the popular market and also to the beach. We had a very nice time!
Very nice landlords, communication was easy and fast!
