Description
The comfortably furnished holiday home offers ground-level space for up to 5 people on a living area of 75sqm. With an unobstructed view of the idyllic Südsee, a sunbathing lawn and a covered south-facing terrace with garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue invite you to relax. The holiday home also includes a large canoe for exploring the lake landscape. The adjacent garden house offers storage space for bicycles or other items.
For our younger guests, a playground with a swing invites you to linger.
In the living/dining room with integrated kitchenette, there is a TV with digital satellite TV (40" flat screen TV) and BlueRay (DVD) player as well as a CD radio. A 3-seater couch with 2 armchairs complete the living area.
For dining, there is enough space for six people in the bay window area. From here you have a wonderful view of the South Sea. The dining and living area is partly equipped with underfloor heating.
Separate from the living room are the 3 bedrooms, all of which were newly renovated in 2020 with high-quality vinyl flooring (no carpeting - suitable for allergy sufferers):
1x room with double bed

1x room with 1x single bed
Each room has a spacious wardrobe.
All beds (no bunk beds!) are equipped with adjustable slatted frames in the head and foot area, as well as new mattresses.
All bedrooms are equipped with insect screens and roller blinds. Cot and high chair are available for the little guests.
The adjoining bathroom with shower, 2x washbasin, hairdryer and WC is located next to the bedrooms. An insect screen and privacy screen are also fitted to the window.
A washing machine, ironing board with iron and a clothes horse are located in a room especially for this purpose. Due to the storage room, the holiday home has a separate rear entrance.
The whole house can be heated by gas central heating.
Since 2020, the house also has free Wi-Fi (internet).

Location and surroundings of object
The Seerose holiday home is located in a unique lake landscape directly behind the Elbe dyke (approx. 500m) in the North Sea resort of Otterndorf.
The wide and spacious green beach with DLRG surveillance, football and volleyball field, beach cabin rental and numerous snack bars on the dyke invites you to sunbathe, relax, dig and swim
In the immediate vicinity of the house there is a large playground, mini-golf, tennis and table tennis courts, a scater facility as well as the play & fun barn, which offers variety for our little adventurers in bad weather.
The surrounding area offers excellent opportunities for anglers, surfers (surf school at Südsee) and cyclists to explore the country park and the picturesque old town of Otterndorf (approx. 2km) with its half-timbered houses and cosy little streets.
The Otterndorf brine spa with its indoor and outdoor pools and sauna paradise with wellness department is worth a visit, not only in bad weather.

Very nice vacation in winter.
Despite the icy temperatures in February, we had a very pleasant stay. The holiday home is nicely furnished and very clean. The location, with a view of the lake, is perfect and a great starting point for lovely walks. Since we felt very comfortable, we would gladly come back again.

Super clean vacation house in a prime location
Very nice well-kept house with top equipment, nothing was missing. Very beautiful, well-kept garden with a view of the lake in a quiet location. Arrive and feel good.

Holiday like in a picture book
Location and facilities are simply top-notch. The view of the lake is simply delightful. If you want to relax...this is the right place for you.

Pure relaxation
We spent a week in this beautiful house with a fantastic location
We have been going to Otterndorf for years because it is our former home.
We have seen many houses in the holiday park, but this one stands out because of its location by the lake.

Beautiful house
This was the second time we stayed in this beautiful, clean house. The weather was sunny this time. As we had to postpone our holiday by a few days, the landlord was very obliging and the keys were handed over on time. Also recommended for older people (we are 75). The location is also very good.
