Beautiful stone house from the 19th century with a wonderful view over Lovran and the sea, in the small village of Dobrec. The house is located above the town of Lovran, on the slope of Mount Ucka, ideal for those seeking peace and relaxation. During the renovation carried out in 2007, special emphasis was placed on the preservation of old elements. The entire hallway area is laid out with natural stones and decorated with great attention to detail. On the ground floor of the house you will find the kitchen, the living room and one of the bathrooms. A staircase leads to the upper floor, where there are two bedrooms, one ensuite, another bathroom and a storage room. The outdoor area has a covered terrace and a separate barbecue area, and a private pool surrounded by greenery.
The cityscape of Lovran is predominantly characterized by magnificent Art Nouveau villas and beautiful parks with exotic plants. There are bathing opportunities here, especially along the 12-kilometre-long coastal promenade.

Activities nearby : Mountain hiking is one of the most popular activities in this area. Climbing the 1,400 meter high mountain Vojak is highly recommended, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the island of Krk and Italy. But there are also some signposted hiking trails that are easier to manage. The longest of them leads from Lovran to Opatija.

Beautiful authentic house, nicely refurbished making it very comfortable. The garden at the side of the house has a beautiful swimming pool (5m diameter, 1.5m deep) which made it easy to get through the heat. The house has air conditioning; with the very warm nights this was also necessary. From about 4 o'clock the garden is in the shade. Beautiful sea view. Particularly quiet! Every now and then a car and a dog that barks, but no highway, etc. can be heard. The covered terrace near the kitchen is close to the other 2 houses that are rented out by the same owner, but we were not bothered by that. The road to the house was always exciting: at times very steep. But yes, then you are also quite high on the slope and you have that beautiful view. Lovran is beautiful, but busy in high season. Tip: go for a swim in the sea in the evening then it is still pleasant and you can park your car more easily!
