Large house with 2 simply and comfortably furnished holiday apartments on a beautiful garden/natural plot in dreamy surroundings and a typical, cozy village restaurant on the edge of the small town in the Weißag district. Luckaitztal, approx. 20 km from the Spree, is a municipality in the Oberspreewald-Lausitz district, which also includes the Lausitz Lake District and the many rivers of the Spreewald. A wonderful landscape that invites you to cycle, hike and water tour.

We were in the larger apartment above the inn located on the village street. According to the reviews we read, it should be quiet. On the day of arrival, there was a dance evening below us, so we couldn't sleep until 2 a.m. If we had known this beforehand, we would have arrived one day later. Additionally, many commuters drive very fast (more than the allowed 30) on the street early in the morning, so we had to close our bedroom window. Quiet is something different for us. In the apartment, the essentials were present, as we always bring our own spices, dish soap, etc. Thanks to the boiler, the water was always hot, and we could shower well (we know it differently too). When the free Wi-Fi was available, it had full signal, but unfortunately, it often lagged and dropped out. There was no mobile reception (Vodafone). The heating usually warmed up quite quickly. The television was very unusual. The back of the soft beds was much softer and it was very uncomfortable to sleep. In the kitchen, there was only a rather small work surface. The refrigerator was large without a freezer compartment. For the two of us, the apartment was sufficient in terms of space, but for the advertised 4/5 people, it will probably be cramped. Regarding cleanliness, one can certainly expect that there are no cobwebs in the corners and that the shower is not infested with red algae. Carrying the luggage up the steep outside stairs for 14 days was not easy. We did not look at the garden because of the snow. We explored the surroundings and the Spreewald and visited open attractions. On the penultimate day, we were also able to take a fireplace boat ride in Burg.
