Its central location in the middle of the Schlei holiday region offers ideal opportunities for many varied and wonderful experiences.
The holiday apartment Hinnerk is located about 200 m from the Schlei and the Lindaunis marina, in a quiet residential area with no through traffic.
Combined with a short walk, a view over the Schlei and the marina offers pure relaxation.

What excites us so much about the Schlei region:
We were looking for a harbor for our small sailboat, from which we could sail both an inland area on weekends and the open Baltic Sea during vacations.
What we found was a natural landscape, away from mass tourism.
Here we find peace through activities in nature and are always happy when, after trips to the surrounding towns, we realize that we have found an oasis of calm—practically without any traffic noise. Our leisure activities (hiking, cycling, sailing, and photography) can be fully enjoyed here.
One after the other:
You can go hiking very well directly from the apartment on both sides of the Schlei or, among other places, in Maasholm, in the Geltinger Birk—with a view over the Baltic Sea as far as Denmark—and in the Hüttener Berge.
Cycling to the Baltic Sea is no problem, but we have also already done a tour all the way to Kiel and then taken the train back to Rieseby. Combinations with the passenger ships operating on the Schlei are also very suitable.
For sailors, the Schlei is a dream. A sheltered arm of the sea that can be navigated in almost any weather, but which also offers access to the open Baltic Sea via Schleimünde. Sailors with small boats – like us – like to combine the comfort of a holiday apartment with the opportunity to enjoy life on the water. That all these activities are accompanied by the camera goes without saying. The atmosphere by the water, the hilly landscape, the thatched houses, etc. offer endless subjects. With a bit of luck, you can even see and photograph sea eagles.
For golfers, there are opportunities to practice their sport on nearby courses.
These are our preferred activities. Through the lively exchange with our guests, it is repeatedly made clear to us how diverse the interests are and what opportunities are offered at the Schlei.
For some guests, the museums—especially in Schleswig—are just as impressive as a guided birdwatching tour in the bird sanctuary near Schleimünde.
Some guests are also interested in the original filming locations of the ZDF television series "Der Landarzt," which was filmed in the Schlei region for over twenty years. The country doctor's house in Lindau is about 2 km from the apartment. Today, a popular café is located here.
In spring, the landscape along the Schlei impresses with the blooming rapeseed; many fields then shine in a bright yellow.
In winter, the incredibly clear starry sky is surprising. Due to the low pollution from artificial light, you have a view that is surely rarely found. A dream for guests who are enthusiastic about astrophotography.
