On our spacious farm grounds you can relax, play, linger or actively spend your holiday. We have a healthy mix of quiet spots, meeting places as well as a small children's playground with swing set and sandbox. Relax on our sunbathing lawn, end the evening on the terrace or at the barbecue area in the orchard.

Family vacation
We, as a family, were guests here for a week. For our grandchildren (12, 10, 8 years old), it was paradise with various animals and play opportunities in a quiet location. But the distances to highlights like Hamburg or Lübeck are also moderate and worth a trip. We enjoyed the spacious accommodations, good amenities, and the cozy fireplace that warmed us in the evenings. The landlord, Mr. Stock, was always friendly, and small requests were quickly fulfilled by him.

extremely cozy
From July 15th to July 22nd, we, as a grandparent couple with 4 boys between the ages of 8 and 10, spent a wonderful vacation week at Birkenhof. We were expecting a huge, charming vacation apartment in the hallway of an old farmhouse, which left nothing to be desired. We immediately felt warmly welcomed, which doesn't happen often with a big group of children. The cake that was presented to us as a welcome gift was devoured with enthusiasm, and off we went into a great week of swimming in the nearby lake, romping and playing on the farm, and exploring the surrounding area, which had a lot to offer. Our two eldest boys were particularly excited when they were allowed to take care of and ride the horses with Annelin. She has a wonderful way of dealing with children, for which we would like to thank her once again. All the boys were thrilled with their week of vacation and definitely want to return to Birkenhof. Dear Stock family, thank you very much to all of you - we really enjoyed it!!!!
